Someone needs to find out what was done with all those bitfury miners they bought. It totally seems like a misappropriation of the funds from customers. Something beyond ineptitude took place here.

They sold the bit fury miners.

None of it makes sense. There were pics from one of bob's trips over there, they had the things set up and mining it seemed. At a time where they were turning over sales of their own items to resellers as to not handle it, they then some how magically acquire a competitors brand of miners to sell at their store? BULLSHIT.

This has been brought up at least 3 times.
The bitfury boards pictured were built using their in house design and a client's chips back in October/November of last year. They were hosted at BA for the client, and any additional boards they built mined for them as they sold them off on the store last year. As far as I know the last boards were sold months ago.

We shipped another 100 X1s today.

So they had another project they were working on, one that was of more benefit to them. They then sold actual, working hardware, months ago, that they had built. Meanwhile people will most likely never see return on their x-3s. It seems pretty abhorrent.

We can't grow when we won't criticize ourselves!

Which clock are you running?

It`s automatic.

It started with 800, now i think it is running with 1200.

But i don't care.

My ROI will be reached, when i have sold it.
I´m not going to mine with it for weeks to get about € 30,--
I think it's the best option do minimalize my losses.

You owe me BTC20 in lost revenue and 2Th/s. I can see extracting this value is going to be a slow, long and difficult process.

How many thousands of customers are out there who you now have to deal with trying to get what's due?

My lost is in the meantime 40 BTCs and I decided now after the X1 debacel to go out of this s+hit.

They set up a BitFurry farm with our money.

I keep seeing people mention this, but it's not something I was aware off, does anyone have any concrete information or proof? (Not trolling, legitimately wanting to know)

It's nonsense. They were selling bitfury miners before they even began taking orders for prosperos.

It doesn't make sense that they would build a giant mine using bitfurys expensive 55nm chips when their chips likely cost a fraction of what they could buy bitfury chips for.

And they wouldn't need our preorder money to build a mine if they wanted to. They have been in business long before they began taking preorders for prosperos.

I think the whole conspiracy theory was started from this picture: http://ecointalk.net/gallery/image/73-20131123-215054/

Got my tracking number from minersource for the 1 X1 I ordered. The tracking took 24 hours to sort itself out as USPS reuses tracking numbers. So far its only been received electronically. (Im guessing its not been picked up yet or they havent scanned/uploaded info for a while)

I tried to get my order exchanged for an S3 and pay the difference, but they assured me that my miner was being shipped this week and so far so good. (albeit much later than anticipated) Yet to find out what UK customs has instore for me. (I dont even know what minersource have valued the miner but for sake of not paying much more money, I hope its low)

Dan the support guy did also say Minersource are looking into the possibility of providing their own compensation in addition and that Minersource will never be taking a long term preorder again. The support desk have been really good for me whenever I emailed them.

I also asked my order be shipped with LCD but I am beginning to doubt that has happened. But doomed if I do have it and doomed if I dont.

Cant wait to receive it, just so I can sell it as compensation, if we ever get anything will not be worth it.

I guess I'll be calling Minersource today. Maybe I can get something else instead of an elusive X1.

Your X1 should be marked @ 100. USPS is terrible on scanning and updating their packages

Thanks bobsag. Appreciate the info. I shall look forward to atleast running it for a few days, sell it and purchase something more worthwhile from your store.

Bobsag or Thomas, Have you guys at Minersource heard anything from BA regarding the X3?  It's been a while now since they were supposed to be ready to ship a few (around the 12th according to the update two weeks ago).  I can't get anything other than vague answers from BA.  Do you have any reason to expect an X3 soon?

Hey man, the one guy working on making the X1's can't do two things at once.  When he gets finishing making all the X1's, he'll start working on the X3's.
