1-2 weeks is the current estimate.
What about the X3 (batch 1, paid in Nov/2013) and the X3 compensation unit, when I ordered via BlackArrow Website?

If bobsag3 says 1-2 weeks, that probably means June or mid-June for the X-1, since they're still working on the case for it.
Oh well, shit happens. Never, ever doing pre-orders again. Live and learn.

This may have been answered before and I apologize if so. Can I order the X3 compensation PSU from Minersource even if my original order is placed with Blackarrow?

Now that I know the X-3 will hash with just a single dual hashing board plugged into it, why not offer an option to the X-1 customers of getting half an X-3 with the equivalent number of boards to match our X-1 order? Additionally you could then offer upgrade packages to add more hash boards to the X-3 at a later date.
I also noticed in the pictures that it's running with an RPi, does that mean the custom controller isn't finished yet?

That's a cool idea I would rather have my 2 x1's as a 200ghs card in a x3 case.

Yes, BA should offer an X-2, which would be 1 TH/s+ or just one of the modules of an X-3. Half the price tag and with 25% coupon would be a hot seller and give the Antminer S-2 and Spondoolies SP-10 a run for the money.

Interesting idea, though you'd probably lose a lot of efficiency to the PSU overhead, no? Also, cheers to BA for getting .75w/gh at 100gh/s. That is, after all, the specifications originally advertised, and the ones we all bought into. bobsag - thanks for the information. safe travels and once again much gratitude for making the trip.

The PSUs will only put out what the components need. In fact, most PSUs are at their peak efficiency around 60-70% load.

I just got confirmation.
ALL psus will be shipped separately, be it for normal X1/X3 or compensation, in order to reduce issues with weight related shipping (heavy PSU in one corner un balancing the box) and customs (not having to rip the miners open to check for compliance on the PSU).
Hope this makes it clear. [/quote]
does the $70 shipping charge for the comp X-3 PSU @ BA include the comp unit as well or are we looking at yet another shipping charge for it as well? if not then it may be cheaper to just buy the PSU from you?
When you say shipped separately are they going to ship in completly separate boxes of just packaged separatly but shipped in the same box so customs would only need to open the PSU box if needed? Otherwise we could wind up get miners one day and sitting around waiting for PSUs to clear customs or get lost!

That might be a logistical nightmare at this point, good idea if they took orders like this from the start. Edit: Plus it might slow down the production of the units with each unit getting a different number of boards.

Edit: Plus it might slow down the production of the units with each unit getting a different number of boards. I don't see BA setting up a robot to install the finished hash boards into the case. That'll likely be handled by people who can look at the order to know how many boards to install. It'll be a lot easier than the nightmare of splitting the earned BTC they plan on divvying out to the X-1 orders as they hash on their datacenter until they ship our units.

In all honesty, that is pretty sweet. 3 TH/s for free($6000 value) for Neptune customers. I guess we shall see if BA can come close to this. Very generous indeed, but doesn't that prove that these machines are overpriced to begin with?

Very generous indeed, but doesn't that prove that these machines are overpriced to begin with? As long as BTC price is in the shitter(relatively speaking compared to the ATH), then all miners are overpriced. We always talk about only calculate ROI in coins not Fiat, but unfortunately you have to factor fiat also. The electric company don't take Bitcoin!

After compensation BA is $1.6/gh and knc is $2/gh. Not to mention knc comp is shipping in august..

Can anyone confirm if the X-3 compensation units will be shipped with the original order? Or, will they be shipped at a later date. I am debating if I need to order a PSU now or wait until I see the original order arrive before spending more money on this.
We have pasted the last shipping estimate and no news. When Bitmine.ch did this, they took another month before they really started to ship anything. Any shipping schedule updates for X3s?

So let's say plus PSU it's $6300, so that's $2.1/Ghs for the 3 TH/s. Versus $12,000 for 6 TH/s including the KNC compensation. That's cheaper than BA, $2/GH. August I know, but technically cheaper. If you were to factor in overclocking, it'll probably be a landslide in favor of KNC.
