I stopped staking this coin. it takes forever to sync and hogs memory.

I wish we could swap the coins to a new blockchain. Would also be nice to have more uses for this coin besides just staking.

masternodes would be nice
tiered staking, higher balances = more interest
maybe some in wallet games.

I have always enjoyed this coin, but it seems like we are not keeping up with the times.

maybe check EXCL guys now, they restarted the chain and coin runs smooth. its not as old as HBN but had similar issues with staking and CPU.

Not very kind of you to come here to promote your coin after a rather questionable hard fork.

Guys, if you really want to see any HBN improvements, your best bet is to motivate Tranz for the future development. No one will come out of nowhere to work for all of you holding bags and waiting for a pump. Be generous.

You're welcome to start any threads you like. A good laugh never hurts. I don't care what you do with that coin. The hard fork looks suspicious at the very least, but I don't really care to investigate any further. This thread is about Hobonickels.

nah i wont, i just mean somebody making some thread means nothing... especially some member without trust - i sent this thread to dev so he can reply to the guy.
he used to spam threads all the time.

anyways!

what i have meant is EXCL had CPU problems with big blockchain like HBN has.

then they did a swap and restarted it on better technology and just look on price now.

if we had that with HBN im sure we coudl get back on our feet.

so i wasnt tryign tio push EXCL here just i meant coin had similar situation and it ended good for it - well just dev didnt disappear like here Smiley))

i trade many altcoins but im here for HBN ... u misunderstood what i wanted to say or i didnt say it clearly

Funny how people misread the same information.

The fact that tranz is not posting daily , to me means he wants to make NO changes to what he has already setup.
And this way , he does not have to waste his time on a daily basis telling the same people asking for changes,(just to ask) he does not want to add them.

Because at the end of the day, he is the one doing the work.
If anyone wants changes feel free to fork the HBN into their own coin, nothing is stopping you.
(Then you have the choice to accept or deny the busy work random people request.)   Wink

I read it as a sign of a stable coin, Dev has had to make 0 changes in the past year, and the coin still works, and I still have over 50 active connections every time I check.
Wonder how many sold off their BTC when Satoshi quit responding on a daily basis.   Cheesy

I am still holding some. I stopped staking because the wallet just crushes my system. it takes forever to sync. The bootstrap never worked for me.

I would love to see HBN become a PoW/PoS coin with masternodes. Setup  a foundation that will take some of the profits from mining to fund further development of the coin. Clean up the wallet and add some more features like transfer coin.

At one point this coin had a $900,000 marketcap. We need to rely on more than just one developer. We need to get on more exchanges. give people more reasons to hold the coin and use it as a medium to transfer wealth.

Perhaps as an experiment we can do a forked version of Hobonickels, but use the existing wallets, like what truckcoin did.

Has anyone launched a High Interest PoS coin with masternodes yet? If not we should be the first.

I would hate to see people abandon this project.

Try PM Tranz
He did peek in on Last Active:    July 03, 2016, 02:34:24 PM

That old Big Marketcap was Cryptsy's Veron Manipulating the market , if you want a return to that price manipulation ,
then you have to get HBN on either Poloniex or Bittrex where that type of manipulation takes place to lure in people.
Throw 3 BTC at Richie on Bittrex and they will add HBN.

Try my Blockchain SnapShot 1st , and if that fails use the normal Bootstrap.dat

Place your Coins at 7000 per block and it will decrease the memory usage a small amount.

The people behind this shitcoin have swindled the crypto community out of millions.

What do you have to say about these matters ?

@cryptmebro

The proof from Hippie Tech doesn't seem to be very forthcoming.

I will say this though: people are people and there is the potential for 'good', or 'bad', in everyone. Let him without sin cast the first stone. My experience of Tranz has been predominantly good. He stepped in to make HoboNickels what it is - a very well thought out POS coin ... possibly the best.

If my memory is right, he did suggest that he would appreciate help with the cost of maintaining the HoboNickels website. Also, that because of outside workload and other commitments, he would not be appearing in this thread as often as he has done in the past, but that he would be keeping an eye on the project. He does, very occasionally, check in to his Bitcointalk Tranz account. And someone is still paying for the HBN website.

However, I do think it is now time for Tranz to confirm that he still is very much around, at least in the background. Otherwise, some might come to the conclusion that he is holding this coin to ransom ...

... or, is letting the price fall until a significant buy strike becomes feasible. I believe HoboNickels has a vast potential.

I'm sure that an occasional appearance from Tranz would be appreciated by all who have invested monetarily and contributed in other ways to the HoboNickels project. Leaving it for months on end gives rise to speculation.
