Before this whole kerfuffle, I used to collect the data that was provided to us in the STATS page of the website, which used to report the total of the user savings (could have been completely fake, but it was something) which was around 1100BTC and growing with my last reading on 22-Sep-2023. Instead too estimate the number of active users the method is to literally look at number of users that participate in the weekly lottery (you can find the .zip file on the twitter feed of Freebitco.in).

Right now there seem to be around 297k users down from 397k in May-24.

Wow, now that I check the numbers freebitco.in really has lost a lot of users in a few months. I can't fathom that they are letting the site going downhill this much unless something big happened (maybe even something physical happened to wetsuit).


I was actually a bit more positive about freebitco.in lately given that another user pointed out that the WOF only restarted once the FUN price was high enough:

This makes sense and if this were the case, and they came out and said so, I'd actually trust freebitco.in MORE since it shows that they are doing things deliberately and not fucking up for months on end... Are they too deep in the lies now? I'd honestly give them a second chance if they come out and say that FUN and WOF was a complete failure and that they were removing the whole premium system.

I sort of remember TheQuin making a similar point about lowering the WOF rewards further since when the WOF came out the winnings were fixed at 50sats IIRC! But they soon corrected their mistake.

It wasnt a mistake exactly, Bitcoin rose gigantically which you could say in retrospect well of course but its still amazing how strong the rises have been.   Like everything else on the site it has to scale to be balanced and relevant, I still wish the faucet was hundreds of Satoshis but sadly not, unless you use the site alot etc.

They added or altered the captcha on the faucet, that could be enough of a change to alter the apparent lottery users.   Not everything will be stated, it could be revenue or user count is lower but another measure such as site involvement is up on a percentage basis because of less bots.  It would be nice if no speculation was needed and obvious things like the missing spins reappeared and so on.

Bitcoin might actually break upwards, I'd like it to prove me right for end of month even if I didnt bet tons I just like being right.  Its hard to know what it will do, right now its attempting to breakout and it could fail then fall with 3 days left.

It could also be that they have a lot of bitcoin at addresses we don't know about, as bitcoin withdrawals, with all the delays and problems there are, are being processed, meaning that from somewhere they are being paid. The bad thing about this is how mysterious it all is, and that no one will show their face or give an official statement. I think they are holding the ship as long as they can until it can't hold on any longer and sinks.

We only know what we can see on the blockchain, because, despite their promises, FB hasn't provided a proof of funds in years.

-Another user found a multichain portfolio that fit the amount of BTC FB claimed to have. That wallet used to have BTC (WBTC to be precise iirc). Some of those were then converted to interest bearing ETH, and then it was mostly emptied in July towards an address that I previously judged to be of of exchange. This address now holds 3.4M FUN of the supposedly 5.8M FUN tokens locked through the website.
-Right now we have no idea where the rest of the money is.
-They have a system of hot wallets that makes it hard to trivially check where the funds come from (I think I described the system in one of my previous posts, but again, I can't be bothered to look it up right now). But if someone has expertise into digging though the blockchain automatically it could be an easy enough thing to check. If anyone is interested I am happy to share what I know right now.

WOF is history now a days and I guess there is no one getting them these days. You can scroll up the comments and you will get to know about the probelm being faced by the gamblers at freebitco recently. 690 days is almost two years and even if you are premium level 4, it does not make any difference.

Perfectly fine with your opinion, it is your money and you have all the rights to show concern in these difficult times for freebitco. Most of the people have withdrawn their money and now will only return once the site is back with normal functions.

Thank you for the update. I personally think that the base functionality is the only thing working. Which would be fine with better communication. It could be that the landscape of tracking owners and users of BTC sites has changed meaning they have to be silent. The site also said many times that they may suspend benefits if their model starts breaking/ leaking/ being unprofitable. This falls in line with the WOF being suspended. The thing that would break the site would be if the casino and withdrawals stopped working. Even interest can stop with the site still being up in good conscience, however, the owners said they would give a 30 day warning for any change in interest.

Most probably Freebitco team have sold the crypto by exchanging them into ETH. They were transferring the coins to Bybit exchanger (pointed out by Tercio). It is obvious that they weren't transferring the funds to Bybit for keeping it there while all the issues were happening at Freebitco (including withdrawal delays).

It could also be that they have a lot of bitcoin at addresses we don't know about, as bitcoin withdrawals, with all the delays and problems there are, are being processed, meaning that from somewhere they are being paid.

Everything is going on a mysterious way in Freebitco now. They have stopped using the single hot wallet address with big funds a long time ago. You may find out the old Bitcoin address they were using from this post. I can see some activity to one of their old Bitcoin address. Looks like they are using this address to process some withdrawals of the users in this month.

😁 Lol, very funny but right, but lets not possibly give all up yet, things might still turn around for this platform, we can't completely right freebitco off atleast, until the website seizes to exist.

The management of this platform can wake up one morning and decide to fix all the problems user of the site have been complaining about, including fixing their customer care service as well.
So, I guess we shouldn't actually say or believe it's over, until we are really sure that it's all over.

I was looking at the eth stake rewards. It can get reward from 1-4% depending on the amount. (4% is a custom contract that is made with a ton of ETH.) Freebitco has the amount needed. Essentially they would be able to support rewards indefinitely AND make profit on their casino. The trade off is that ETH is less secure. It's an interesting move though.

In round 10 of the Lambo lottery, they didn't announce the winner until a month after the round ended. Nowadays, it's also been almost a month since the end of another round, but there is still no information from the Freebitcoin team. This time, they didn't even publish an announcement about the end of the 11th round or the beginning of the 12th round, although the new countdown on the site is going on.
I think whether the Lambo draw of round 11 will happen or not is now kind of an indicator of whether Freebitcoin can continue to operate normally or not.

If so, it would be another botched job. Changing the best cryptocurrency for a shitcoin, which although we can say that it is the best of the shitcoins we only have to see that for example this year it has revalued 10% vs. 60% of bitcoin. Not to mention centralization/decentralization etc. wetsuit wasn't bitcoin maximalist? I thought freebitco.in was created for that, to popularize bitcoin (besides doing business).

That is probably the strategy they are playing currently but I wonder what good will it be to them ?
Won't it just cause a bad name to their reputation instead ?
If at all they considered quitting then they should have simply made an announcement instead.

As for the Lambo lottery draw, we should wait at least for an announcement about that to come out, and it doesn't matter who will win. Honestly, at this point, there are doubts that they just don't have enough funds to do such a draw. I hope I'm wrong about that.

From all indications it is a gradual scamming mad they don't want to do at once so it is a gradual process. So we still advise nobody, nobody should deposit money into FBC again and if you have finally successfully withdraw your funds from the site abandon the account for them until they come here again to make an official announcement and clear their name to be good then people can visit the site again and participate.
Aside that nobody should involved in that site. It is a scam.

You are absolutely right, alot of us started using freebitco from back when they were a Faucet and not a casino, I remember back then in 2015 when i joined the platform, I got my very first bitcoin satoshis from this site, I remember gathering the sats until I got up to $10 worth, I withdrew it to poliniex and learnt how to trade with it.

Many here have never won the lambo, and not the lottery either, and I think I remember raising this as an issue some time back, like it's suspicious that no one has ever come out to testify to winning the freebitco weekly lottery or lambo, none I know of, not even outside of this forum, and someone once told me that perhaps, the team are just giving those prizes to themselves, while making us believe it's we the users that the prizes are going to...
