It has been illogical since a long time now. So long that I have become used to it by now.
FUN is not "owned" by freebitco.in. As far as I know they just had a tie up with freebitco.in and the project is still owned by FUNToken.

There was a bit of discussion back then about this. I dont think I wanna dig up some old posts for this but that there was a discussion about freebitco.in actually doesnt own FUN but they purchase huge number of FUN token back then when it was cheap then sell it to their userbase at higher price. Back at that time I think FUN only have small community so its basically never made any huge fuss or whatsoever

In legal terms, the freebitcoin team probably doesn't own FUN, but the fact that more than half of the FUN token emission is locked on Freebitcoin's website definitely matters. In the article from 2021 linked above by uncapchad, it's noticeable that the Freebitcoin team initially had pretty big plans to develop the FUN token in the long term, but something seems to have gone wrong.

It seems that they are trying to get as many users who have FUN as possible to leave by selling their FUN on the website cheaper than on the exchange.

What do they gain if people sell FUN on their website? Short-term they'll make a quick profit but long-term, this is going to kill the FUN token project.

TheQuin was surely an engine room to freebitco.in long time outlook here on the forum and with him a lot of trust was gathered from the community on freebitco.in. And now TheQuin is no where to be found , neither was there a message of any kind about his sudden disappearance and the next thing unlike him we're told he's too busy to visit the ones forum he seldom stay a week off without visiting. Mheen! This story isn't clear. Which is why many users keep questioning it.

Quin was dealing with scammers and angry customers front line which is a similar job I've done in the past and anyone else whose had to deal with the worst cases of a large organization aspires to greater matters.  If they say he moved onto another position then its completely believable to me as no doubt the job would be quite frustrating and repetitive, proof would be the reception given to someone new answering queries recently.
  They obviously arent to blame but get alot of hassle for it, its a difficult job I can understand a person is not a pillar of stone and wishing to move jobs tbh.

It's noteworthy that the occurrence of any problems on the freebitcoin site became more frequent just after TheQuin stopped being active on the forum. Whether this is a coincidence or not, it is very strange if a large project like this so much really depends on one person, both in terms of communication with the community and the functionality of some functions on the site.

But guess we cannot see TheQuin here now? there's lot of changes happened here since he's gone. Then its like freebitco.in became a new casino which struggling to deal with certain issues encountered by their gamblers. These issues makes people lose their trust to them. But still even if there's still a down side keep happening to them I guess if people still want to gamble here, they should extend their patience since its like freebitco.in is not done with their struggle.

Don't know if there's a chance for Quin to get back here since we can see that if he's the one handling here freebitco.in looks good and issues has been taken care of. But since everything has change now well I guess people cannot do anything but to deal with the changes they made.

I think I read somewhere, if I'm not mistaking, that he has been assigned another role in the company, even at that, he ought to have been able to make some clarifications about what is going on with Freebitco since he has been the eye of the company in this forum. His silence on the entire thing was actually more worrisome to me than most of the concerns raised here. Just a little statement from him would have helped make people get the true picture of things, even if he left the company, he would have still stated that instead of not making a comment.

According to the post made by freebitco.in PR a few months ago (and assuming he was saying the truth), you are right. TheQuin didn't leave freebitco.in.

TheQuin is currently focusing on fraud prevention across our multiple properties and is no longer active on the forum.

This is what TheQuin told you specifically in 2021.

It isn't a misconception. We bought out the majority of the cold storage and now control the smart contract.

FreeBitco.in is not just a large stakeholder but they outright control this token. Looking at the contract information on Etherscan, we can see that ownership was changed on March 3, 2021 around the time that the premium program was launched.

Later in the month, ownership was transferred to a multisig account which was created by these new owners, that we presume to be FreeBitco.in.

I just noticed that the new round of the Lambo lottery on the Freebitcoin site has been counting down for a few days now. However, there are still no details about the results of the 11th round from the Freebitcoin team neither in this thread nor on Twitter(X). I was finally somehow able to get the password changed and it somehow showed me as unbanned.🤷🏽‍♂️ I put my address into electrum and it shows someone depositing an amount then withdrawing my recent deposit plus the money deposited so I am wondering how I got scammed out of that

The site is a little haywire atm, however every address on freebitco is an alias address that links to their main hot wallet. what's more important is that you can withdraw the funds from your freebitco account.

For those watching this forum. Long time users are trying to gauge the useability of the site. I haven't heard any issues with withdrawals and interest so far. It seems that the addon services like WoF and some of the raffles may be acting up. People seem to still be getting communications from the website directly. Just know that many people are watching both the cold wallets of freebitco as well as how the site is being managed.

So far it is still a legitimate service with some issues. I've been using the site since 2017 and have seen it survive a database crash. The only issue I have with the current running of the site is that their current communication is super slow now. I wish they would give us a weekly digest even if a little vague. (even a monthly digest).

So here is the image showing my recent deposit being taken out which was not me. But they only took the deposited amount and didn't take the rest . I deposited a small amount to see if it would help me find a way to sign a message for verification. But idk if the one I did is correct and don't want to post something that could cause insecure info to breach the account
