With the new wallet, all local projects are reported missing, even those who were good before. No more good cpids so no mining...

OK I've taken the new version from github and built. Synchronises much faster There's one interesting thing: the wallet checks and prints the boost library version (in clientmodel.cpp and rpcconsole.cpp). On the machine with boost 1.55 the compilation goes without any problems, on other machines (boost 1.48) make returns error, so I had to comment out the lines in code that print boost version. After this the wallet gets compiled, works but the debug window says unknown boost version. Tried to think why it is like this but I don't know... 100 GRC are here, now I'm waiting how nice the PoR will go Is there any faucet where newcomers can receive at least 1 grc to start PoR? There are around 300 Million Gridcoins out there, so some thousand grc for free shouldn't bother the community. Some free gridcoins can be received from tomorrow on bitcoinblog.de. I will post an article about gridcoin and give interested readers one gridcoin each.

pallas, compiled the new version? every day we have a new wallet version you shouldn't be too far I am laughing that the wallet says that my "guesstimated time to earn a reward" is 442 days (EDIT 516 days... after a few hours running the wallet). OK, I've put my CPUs only, but waiting more than a year sounds curious. Something must be wrong with the wallet. BTW: I've been fighting for over a week to make my GPUs work... Today I've switched them from fah to boinc, but the problem is the same. Testing the littlest: radeon 6850, that supports opencl (over 1 MH on qubit). But no way to make this GPU make useful computing... I've read so many posts on forums from people who want to lower their gpu utilisation, because it runs 100% by default but I have the opposite problem: GPU goes idle or works at 1-10% :/ I've tried everything I could find online and don't know what to do. You are already used to BOINC, so I might be stating the obvious here. Just check again, maybe it could be of help. Are you working on a whitelisted GPU-only project? You can check for info in your BOINC-Manager or on the project pages. Besides, idle times for GPU can configured in BOINC manager. Then, there is a thread for help regarding setup: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/1428-technical-support-thread/Hello, thank you, but... there're no "GPU-only projects" or I havn't found any. And what "whitelist"?? Tried POEM@home for some days and turned back to worldcommunitygrid. First of them should support GPUs, but does not. Second one is CPU-only. I'm terribly sorry that your link helps nothing (because it's about scryptmining mostly) and there's nothing useful in boinc's help pages. Is a short info about boinc-client's parameters that really work? I'm bored of entering gpu-usage 1 or 100 and waiting- maybe this works or will not, because each trial doesn't change anything! If it changed anything in the GPU's behaviour, OK, I would try other setting. But I see that whatever taken from the net I try, I'm in the same place (since more than a week).

Just did git pull again because there were changes and I had problems. Qt client compiles fine but headless one gives:
src/main.cpp:4372: undefined reference to `RebootClient()' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

I think a good minimum requirement to start your mining with at least 10 GRC in your wallet to be able to expect a payout in coming days. To help people start off, we offer 20 GRC for free in a promotional campaign at http://uscore.netA tiny amount of GRC balance is needed to run energy efficient Proof-of-Research for security reasons (signature).

Are you trying to get GRC classic or GRC POR(Proof of Research) going?

For GRC POR all you need for your conf file is :
rpcport=9334 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 email="your boinc email goes here"
Try and run GRC wallet for a few days and then check your cpids!

Poloniex and C-CEX are exchanging automatically to GRC GRC while having GRC classic on those exchanges?

I think there are still a few kinks that are being worked on with the new POR wallet, once that is taken care of the exchanges will switch over!

In a few days the GRC classic will stop trading @ c-cex and poloniex. The new wallet will be put in place and after that GRC will be much harder to mine. So buy whatever you can now! Hi guys! Only now i noticed all this BIG changes to GRC. Downloaded and installed new PoR wallet, but there is some mess (question marks everywhere). How can i fix this? I tried to change language in prefs - no effect. NWM, fixed it. Also. I can't understand - if i have some amount of GRC on c-cex, is it necessarily to make all that "Burn" operations, or not? Thank you!

PoR doesn't work properly! I am using several machines to compute, and I've got no coins from it but the staking "time to reward" grows, now it's 1000 days. GPU computing doesn't work at all (I'm using the newest Ubuntu for testing it). A lot of things should be done before the opthymism on exchanges. The PoR is thought to be a stable way of earning or a short-term pump and dump? I hope the first, that's why I say what I say.
