I did not know that with the help of IoT devices, Vanig wants to monitor deliveries to the end customer so that not only will they always know the exact location, but also what temperature is currently in the package. Good feature
Wow. Seriously they can do that?? I mean they can monitor a package's temperature sent out for delivery?? Never knew about that. That's really cool. This is the beauty of IoT devices and automation which could seriously make a positive outcome on many business' in the future. Resulting in alot more profits for company and a reason why I think this could be implemented When one creates a project and decide not to follow the future, that project is bound to crash, Vanig seems to understand this and is implementing the future into their business, good innovative implementation is known to attract people, the future is heading to a simplified approach of life and everything is about to get automated, so using IoT is probably one of the best decision that they took Yea I totally agree with you but my fear is that the whole process should not get too complex because they are trying to incorporate trending technology. Vanig should know that simplicity and ease of use is very important and users will not want to use app that is great but hard to use.

Thanks for the article. A great summary of the aspects, why we need a project like Vanig and the influence of blockchain in future e-commerce market.

Thanks for the article. A great summary of the aspects, why we need a project like Vanig and the influence of blockchain in future e-commerce market. Good article, the points it mentions are interesting. I think visibility is going to be even more important in the future, look at Amazon, you can even see how many stops away from your house they currently are. if they do it right, you could see where your order is, and if your at work, go home and meet the delivery driver before they arrive. The reviews section is interesting as well, especially with the scandle around buying fake Amazon reviews a few years ago. With the blockchain, you could literally track the moment of purchase to verify that the review came from a legit source who purchased and used the product. Can't wait to see this fully implanted.

Great article I was more concerned on the part that dealt with authenticity and reviews because I as a regular online shopper have had some problem of knowing whether a product is authentic or not and some other times you read reviews and you later discover that the reviews doesn't reflect on the product.

Hi community! I've read about Vanig on some ICO rating sites. "Finally! Good marketing idea to implement with blockchain" - I thought. Really, there are so many projects now who can't even explain why they try to make it using crypto. And online shopping will always be the greatest web bussiness selling everything and producing a profit. Amazon revolutionized this system and it's time now to move forward.
Of course I have several questions here. Where exactly will blockchain system be used? Managing orders? Payments data storing? Parcel tracking?

The reviews is rather interesting; the only worry is that the say a product did badly it can't change its history if it starts doing well. I think the tracking of product is what would it stand among the others.

I believe you can get most of your questions answered by reading their whitepaper https://vanig.io/assets/pdfs/vanig-whitepaper-v-4.2.pdf and if you still do not get an answer ask it in their Telegram: https://t.me/VanigPlatform.

I read this article earlier and I was really impressed with it.. I can personally say i can relate with all those problems stated there about modern e-commerce sites and vanig using blockchain as the solution can be a big boost to the industry.

IoT is really a simple and trendy technology to use, the world is actually embracing simplicity, so is IoT tech, is all about using one point of control to access anything that has been wired to its network remotely, so i believe the community will like that, is accessible, flexible and something anyone can easily use to monitor the movement of a specified package

When you say "real time shipment tracking: yes (above $50 purchase)" do you mean the seller will be forced to send via a trackable shipping method only in that case, or will users be able to pay extra for adding a tracking number?
They might enforce it, I wouldn't want someone to send me a tablet pc for instance via non-tracked post. Look at companies like Amazon, you can spend like £5 and get real time tracking and GPS of where your goods are, I imagine it'll be the same. It's important to also have the ability of specifying if we want to get the package via tracked post for smaller value items, even at our own expense. Companies like AliExpress have successfully implemented this and I personally think it's an awesome idea.

That makes sense as a business decision; You need a way to sustain profitability and provide value to the end user. As Darkoth89 said in other well known retails you actually pay extra for extra features; I think it was smart setting the live tracking or bounding it to the total amount purchased. Now you are creating an incentive for people to get what they need off the platform. The tech is their and people are normally quite willing to pay a premium so offering more advanced methods of tracking and more metrics to be tracked at a premium seems wise

I did not know that this possibility already exists. For some products that would be worth considering. But actually it's more of a curiosity, because the packages should actually be insured anyway, and if they disappear on the way to you, that's usually a problem for the seller. From this point of view, the seller might have been more interested than the buyer :-)

According to the Vanig Telegram channel, the MVP is in beta testing and will released next week. It is a good sign, that the MVP will be available before the Presale begin. This will push the project and attract more potential investors.

Thank you for this link! One thing I can't get there - what does "payment cycle" mean? It's noted that Amazon payment cycle is 15-20 days and Vanig via cryptocurrency can provide this in real time. Could somebody clarify me this?

Yeah, an MVP is so important. Some investors only put their money in a project with at least a working MVP. I can totally understand them. It's something completely different when you invest in a project that has a working product to show than in only a fancy whitepaper.

As far as I understood MVP will be a demo version this time and some people can get a chance to test it. We need to wait for further information from Vanig which will come I think sometime in the beginning of the next week.
