Hi
if you run linux please pm me with following output
tcpdump -nvvi "your interface name" port 67 or 68
your interface name i guess will be eth0 or something like that
you can also put "any" without quotes but this will be must harder to see that happens

so ive got the miner working on my own network, and can access it from my laptop via the router. however, it is not mining. what am i missing? all the pool credentials are entered and ive entered 3 pools just to make sure do i need to use the full versions of each pool address? ie: stratum+tcp://nl1.ghash.io:3334 instead of nl1.ghash.io:3334 or http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 insead of stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 ? EDIT: solved the problem. My router has issues with torrenting, and it seems that every time i torrent, i must reboot the router after or else it wreaks all sorts of havoc on my outgoing connections. antminer is functional! (and getting louder)

Screen grab from my mining Obviously 'ant' at the bottom is the AntMiner. http://198.245.60.111/Pix/201311291120miner.png Hmm odd I can't see the small image - oh well. The MHS av is blank coz they changed the name. No we won't be changing the name in cgminer master so that everyone who uses the API has to change their code. Backward compatibility is one of the features of the API (the only changes against that has of course been removal of the GPU code - and CPU code a long time ago) Edit: note - 480W total - 20A / 12V per board I also used a clamp meter to check: 20.10A on the side with the wrt 19.48A on the side without the wrt

Oh, for the mining pool address, some part of the world, you may have to use the IP address to connect. No "http://" was needed, simply enter "50.31.149.57:3333" Anyone getting smiler discard rate? Mining result wise, it's not way off of the estimators on the web... I was wandering if Kano was a Japanese word, but now I know the answer!!!

In the Bitmain FAQ there's a Q about changing the frequency of AntMiner.
How safe is this as a procedure? I'm only familiar with overclocking CPUs etc. Can the chips run safely at the given top frequency (500MHz)? Is there any other drawback than grown power consumption?

The voltage regulator is a 30AMP device TPS53355. If each 8chip group draws the rated 30A @ 1.1V your power draw would be ~264W and ~310W using a 80+ Gold PSU. Well at 400MHz (204GH/s) my 80plus gold 750W PSU draws 512W from the wall (including fan power). That means I am already drawing >30A from the poor regulators and they are overloaded. As a miner I am looking at RoI first and reliability second.

Auction Promotion After we shipping out the unofficial group buy units tomorrow, we will start a 24 hours auction immediately (The 3rd Round Auction) again in the auction board. The rules are similar: uniform price auction. The quantity is much more than two previous auction: 120 units; And we introduce two other rules which is good for winning bids. Auction will last for 24 hours, in China's Wednesday. The winning bids will be shipped out in two days: Thursday and Friday. (Dec 5th~6th) The highest bids will be shipped out first, though the pay the same uniform price. We use UPS shipping, and we accept only Bitcoin. CouponAll previous auction winners will have a 0.1BTC coupon per unit bought, and each unit can use only one coupon. for example, a forum member who has bought 3 units from us, and he bid 5 units in The 3rd Round Auction, he can save 0.3BTC in the final amount. If the same forum member only bids 2 units in The 3rd Round Auction, he saves only 0.2BTC. Quantity DiscountAnd this time, the final amount will involve a quantity discount. The 3rd~5th units will have a 2.5% discount. The 6th~10th units will 5% discount. Units larger than 10 will have a 8% discount. Quantity Discount will be used after the Coupon, if both of them valid. If there is any misunderstanding involved in the above two rules, we have the right to decide which explanation is valid.

You still need to reconfigure your computer's ethernet port to match the range of the Antminer unit for the initial config. I initially configured my Antminer unit using a Macbook Pro FWIW.
