Code:
*/1 * * * * root /bin/ps -ef|grep -v grep|grep memorycoind >/dev/null || /usr/local/bin/memorycoind -daemon

change name of process and/or path about your installation

This does not really help because

a, the process is often there, but just hangs
b, it's not there, but the database has been damaged
c, it's not there, but the wallet has been damaged

It's a fast and simple script for restart the daemon, if, of course, the crash are not damaged nothing. Need a more articolate script that check the integrity of all, but you will cannot execute it every minute.

Could be someone using MANY instances to mine on the same wallet.

Just came back after leaving 8 miners running for 8hrs. Mined one block  Cheesy and only one miner crashed (just got stuck, running fine after a restart)

Thought i better add a positive post after reading everything since i left.

I am using windows 8 a variety of i5 and i7's some with GPU's mining LTC so they are only on 2 threads.

Good luck all

it's no trust
crash damages normal restart - solution only remove (cleaning and re-create) ~/.memorycoin (of course need constatly backup wallet.dat)

I'm find new bug:

tail -f /root/.memorycoin/debug.log
getGrantAwardsFromDatabase 640
Check Grant Awards Are Being Added for block 640
Ensure grant database up to date 640
getGrantAwardsFromDatabase 660

Glad it's not just me that can't connect to the network never mind sync with it.

Any solutions apart from adding the nodes and deleting the files, which I've already tried.

I've also lost my coins imported from PTS wallet, after backing up the wallet and then placing it in the %appdata% folde, hopefully I will be able to import them again?

My theory about this:

There are currently not many nodes in this coin's network. So users without a public IP can have difficulties with finding nodes to connect to. Adding new nodes to memorycoin.conf or by 'addnode' command in the debug window may have a temporary effect. For example, your wallet connects to one of these manually added nodes and syncs. But later this node becomes down for some reason (e.g. the user closes his wallet or shuts down PC) and you can't connect to it anymore. If the client doesn't find new nodes automatically then you get the error and can't sync.

So I'd suggest to add every node mentioned in this thread to the conf file, restart the client and wait for about 30 minutes. But I'm not 100% sure about that.

Seriously, he's getting all of the blocks, every 30 minutes or so.

Hey Sherlock, are you really sure about that?

As far as i know cloning your wallet on different hosts is not possible..

So must be a miner or someone reeeeeeeally lucky, now only a working pool.

Atleast after the fork things are running more stable!

My dedicated server w/ Dual Xeon L5639 is mining at 5.28 H/m

I checked at my Dedi host to see that all their servers are out of stock.

This server goes for $69/mo and can easily mine blocks.

(Datashack and Servercomplete)

Anyone know the H/m for amazon cloud mining?

None of the IPs on original post work,

try 68.232.188.226 and 198.12.127.2    (darkhosis.nogleg.com and nogleg.net)

oh, there are many ppl stuck at 554 blocks for some reason.  they usually end up trying to submit some blocks to me and my client bans them?
