Hum someone wants the coin to go down it seems: 3 sell orders ~1.000.000 coins on  coinex 316, 317, 318 satoshis, and others at 331, 332.

This has been going on for the last few days at least.Seems it very easy to manipulate the price with such low volume.
All the sensible people are holding and most by now will have brought all the cheap EAC they can ( I know I have!)

No manipulating. People dumping. I dumped mine before it crashed to floor. It's at 210 now.

Maybe it will go back up in a few days.

Ok that is your interpretation of the trade data ,mine is somewhat different.
Why would anyone in their right mind sell when Crypsy is imminent?
Unless you know something we dont?

EAC is very undervalued. People are creating huge sells and then quickly removing them to create a snowball effect for other inexperienced traders.

3 concurrent low sell orders on coinex was all it took to drive it down. Shame on the people dumping this.

Exactly , anyone who states EAC is not being manipulated down right now is either not paying attention or are trying cover up the fact that this is clearly happening on both coinEX and Coinedup.

ask yourself a couple of question:
why EAC is not on Cryptsy yet? Why other "shitty" coins got on Cryptsy quicker then EAC?
DEV do not want the coin on Cryptsy because it will die there, it's not happening guys. DEVs are lunching their own stupid exchange site. Thats why.

EAC already had its bubble when it was 800satoshi

I don't understand WHY earthcoin has not been added to Cryptsy yet...

People are easily manipulating the market right now with such low volumes.

why dont you manipulate market in your favour, if it is that easy?
Volume around 60 btc / day is not that low for new currency...

Only way EAC price would rise at the moment is if demand will rise a lot. I dont see this happening any time soon. So theres plenty of time to buy in.
EAC block reward cut is so far away. Scrypt economy has grown by a lot in last months and is still growing on enormous rates. Competition is tightening. Profitability of mining is dropping.
Price per EAC is likely to drop further in coming weeks-months. EAC total market cap is likely to rise on same time frame.

Dont take this prediction too seriously. Its just my 2 cents.

The dev's have asked BigVern to add it to cryptsy.

This is what they said. They do not want it on Cryptsy.

http://www.cointography.com/

The 100,000 EAC prize game has been released now since everything seems to be running smoothly.

Here is a link to the address holding the funds, proving they are available for whoever guesses the correct number.

Good luck to all!

Quick Start

Start with registering on our pool & creating workers for your computers. You can use our automated config generator in our workers page and download pre-configured files for your mining software.

EU Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://eu.coinum.org:3335
US Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://us.coinum.org:3335

CGMiner Configuration

Here is sample CGMiner configurations with fail-over support. Given that the stratum server you use fails, your miner software will continue to work with out other stratum server.
Note: You have to change WORKER and PASS with your actual worker-name and worker-password values you get from workers page.

EU
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

US
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

  • Our network - We already operate first class & high performance pools, check our other pools over http://www.coinium.org
  • %0 fee - Our network have no fees! We just kindly ask you to donate if you like to.
  • Stratum servers - We have stratum servers in Europe and United States. Right now we have a total of 4 servers (2 stratum server, 1 webserver and 1 database server) and we are quickly upgrading & adding new servers to stack when we need to.
  • Fail-over config support - In case that the stratum server you use fails, your miner will just continue to mine with our secondary stratum server.
  • VARDIFF enabled - Our stratum servers will shift your work difficulty based on your hash-rate automatically.
  • DDOS Protected - Our servers are DDOS protected 7x24!
  • Automated backups - We get automated backups of our system.
  • Automatic payments - You can set automatic payments if you like to.
  • Fast confirmations - We are quickly processing your transactions once newly found blocks are confirmed.
  • Automatic config generator - Check our workers page to automatically download a generated configuration file for your workers with fail-over support!
  • Continous support - We are eager to help our users! You can ask for support in our forum topic.
  • IRC support - We have operators in our IRC channel and you can chit-chat about mining too.
  • Mobile friendly - We have mobile friendly user interface so you can check your miner's status from your mobile devices
  • Contests - We are regularly creating contests and giving bonus coins to our miners!

Hey folks.
I'm a great supporter of EAC and also own some.

I'm looking forward to see the development of all this and think that earthcoin has a good chance of succeeding.

From the launch till now I read almost everything about Incryptex, the cryptsy-thing and your "plans" with eac.

My imagination tells me that this coin is different from others when it comes to longterm-success and down-to-earth behavior because it's not attractive to fast-gamblers.

We see that in bottomnear prices at coinedup for example. Earthcoins social media like Twitter, Reddit and Facebook is almost sleeping and we do not hear any news or further steps of the
dev-team.

Since this whole system is addicted to a good community and a good conception and design, for me it is very important to know what comes next.

So, dear developer-team could you please be so kind and tell us a few more steps you plan and when they happen (approximately)

cheers,

steveomb
