It's definitely interesting watching the feedback roll in.
Thank you all for your ideas and motivation, the team has far from lost interest, you guys have to realize every day can't be an incline with catalysts exploding forever and ever (and as much as we love this project, we do have real lives, wives, other biz, weekends and commitments to juggle).
The exchange is not going to be complete for at least a few months and I've said this many times already.
We can't force Cryptsy, it will happen when it happens, his twitter hasn't been updated in a while, no coins have been added yet.
People are playing with the price on the small exchanges easily because 90% are small traders and these guys are stacking up on coins/keeping prices low (otherwise you'd just see them clear the book, why mess around for a few extra btc for days on end vs just cashout and build profit elsewhere..).
I'll admit we're sort of 'stuck' for now as we are in limbo with Cryptsy, and some of the dev relies on us being there with aps/next catalysts, and we're competing with a HUGE influx of new coins and will continue to for a while. Our moves will indeed be catalysts, and some won't be announced they will just 'happen' naturally, those that are still there when they do will be rewarded. You guys want to offload your eac I can't/won't stop you as the industry is currently getting diluted like crazy and you might 'make more short term' elsewhere. This just goes to show though that you're here for quick profits, and if it starts to skyrocket you might have sold anyway.
PS: Happy Monday, hope you guys enjoyed your weekend, I was stuck here for most of it, caught a bit of a cold, am grumpy today because of it - still smiling though and still confident, hopefully you guys will see some cool moves in the market and from the team today now that it's back to bizweek.
I understand it cannot be an incline every day, but what is scaring me, and should be scaring everyone I think, is that is has been a decline every day. I understand Cryptsy cannot be forced, but we (I) need to see some development in the right direction to keep my mining rigs mining EAC. I need to pay my electricty bill which is rather high due to the rigs. I still believe in EAC and I would love to see it rise and become a stable alternative to the major crypto currencies. One thing, once the exchange you are working on is finally released, would be to provide an easy way to accept EAC (and exchange this into fiat since that is what businesses need) in webshops, that is something i really think could help. I for one would be glad to implement this in my webshops and other online businesses as an alternative to credit card payments and banktransfers and as a way to promote EAC (and other crypto currencies).

My friend is graphic designer, and he just told me about his first design job payed with EAC. That is good news, people starts to accept EAC like real fiat currency.

Any news about the Android app?
Android app dev is waiting for earthcoin to hit Cryptsy. I am waiting for cryptsy but thats not the only barrier right now. I also had a flood in my apartment, which has slowed development down considerable the last few days. They finally let me back into my apartment today so I got my cpu setup in my kitchen while repairs are done, but I'm back on it. It was just about ready when the set back happened so I expect it to be along very shortly now that I can get back to work. DDOSed pools, Failed HDs, Floods, and to top it all mini-whales manipulating prices at the small exchanges. at least it's not boring here heh PS - xploited, you rock. even when your setup is in the kitchen.

Ermmmm, Not even sure when this happened - but it looks like we just got picked up by the Chinese http://www.btc38.com/altcoin/EDIT: Talk about natural catalysts... Wait, isn't this supposed to be like big news, i remember when Quark was being added to this exchange and everyone was freaking out.

a) we are basically at launch levels. compared to doge, moon and all those meme coins which ALL have lost considerably compared to their starting prices, often at not even 20% of their value, EAC has remained stable
b) we are also where we were at January 4th. 2 days ago. why?
if you had sat down watching the order books of coined up and coinex all day as I have, you've seen that every time EAC broke out of a downward movement, someone dropped insanely huge sell orders onto the market that were too big to actually get sold. they were underbid. then the huge sell order is withdrawn.
that is manipulation. why would someone with insane amounts of cash push prices down? probably not in order to sell.
c) it is not a good idea generally to mine and immediately sell... but if you have to, I feel your pain. but EAC is still one of the most profitable coins, even at 300 satoshi.
so I do not understand your problem. there may be one or 2 coins that are equally profitable, but only when EAC is under 350.
doge is ALREADY less profitable, even with eac at 314 as we are now and all big multipools still mine doge

Can anyone explain this sh** to me ? WHY should I pay EAC for a "planet" and then hope someone else gives more money so I get my money + x back ? If you want to gamble, trade the coin at an exchange, buy and hope it rises.... http://gaia.l8.lv/ Venus and Freddie Mercury are still cheap right now, a bit outta my price range now but some of you big hasher's may be able to make some minor profits.

Why play Gaia when you could win 100,000 EAC in the Lotto game? http://www.cointography.com/ Interesting to see Earthcoin listed on btc38, hopefully that means there will be some additional exposure and interest! Because nobody has won the 100,000 yet lol so ima go with what has made me some EAC, and that would be http://gaia.l8.lv/ I tried earlier, just a hint, it is not 1-20 lol Not yet! The big prizes are all still up for grabs though. The smaller games seem to be getting won fairly regularly now, but the bigger ones require a few more guesses to win it seems

It saddens me that we put up big bounty's for developers/apps/games.
To date the only interactive games we have are gambling based where the builders aren't thinking about the brand as much as the gains.
WE WANT A GAME(s): You know, a character, environment, graphics, sound fx, branding. I don't care if you buy gamesalad templates and just fill them in with our brand, or build out a geeky leaf walking around collecting pebbles for points and donating them to charities for more point or whatever the plot/objective is.
I still have a good 1,000,000 eac put away for 5-10 'proper' games as bounty's. **I believe we actually have 1-2 in development or in pre-development so this might change shortly but I'd still love to see more.
Please DO NOT advertise your gambling and risk of loss games here from now on, please don't even call them games, it's just building frustration among our userbase.

Gentlemen, Thank you so much for making http://eac.dedicatedpool.com the #1 place to mine Earthcoins. One quick look at our current blocks and history and you can see why: http://eac.dedicatedpool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks - the averages are just amazing! Hey, I mine there with 6.7Mh/s too, so I'm speaking as a miner- thanks!!! I just wanted to give you an update as to where we stand right now. Judging from the letter that we saw from the Earthcoin developer talking to BigVern, I would suspect that we should see a launch of Earthcoin on Cryptsy this week. Now remember, bitcoin is flying high and this actually is great news for Earthcoin because the prices on Earthcoin should remain low with less chance of a pump and dump. A lot of people's concentration is on bitcoin and ltc right now. So everyone, and also the great miners on http://eac.dedicatedpool.com, I urge you to let this coin develop and mature. You will gain confidence in the coin and so will the rest of the world. There are already foundations being established to promote the coin - and this is a great thing.
