Let's me summarize for you.
1. Scrypt-N ASIC, We have looking for another algorithm already. We have planed to implement it in GPU and CPU miner after we released Stealth Addresses.
2. Multiple PoW, In order to change to the new algorithm, it must be smooth transition as much as possible. We have planed to implement multiple PoW from Scrypt-N to the new algorithm. According to the plan, it will be Scrypt-N -> New Agorithm + Scrypt-N -> New Algorithm.
3. Multipool & Inflation, We still discussing the solutions with team members to find the best way to solve it, but it will do nothing until we released Stealth Address.
4. Stealth Address, It is in progressing.
Thanks, bushido
Hi, Bushido There was some discusion between me and two well known GPU miner developers about POW dedicated for GPU, but hard for ASIC https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484261.0Project is now frozen - but some thoughts are still worth of consideration. Should I describe it here or better more confidently, via PM for example? Regards JK Thanks JK, please PM me.

Just my .02. But I think the multipools should be attacked on the basis of securing the network by rewarding miners who secure it rather than those who are a security threat (multipools) vs doing something about it just because they are dumping coins on exchanges. One or two massive miners swooping in for 3 hours then leaving is closer to a threat than actually helping network security. Longer mined block confirmation times reward those who consistently secure the network imo. I'm not a fanboy of any solution - but I do think getting rid of them makes sense just on the basis of wealth distribution should be geared towards those securing the network.

This kind of news and communication from developers makes me confident in my VTC investment. I refuse to put any money into the newer products. I'm thinking of the recent Silkcoin debacle and who will be next.

Look forward for the new algo, it will be best that the ASIC is impossible to be developed under current design/fab capability

Come on, we need more hashes! 70MH/s added 10MH/s added too ps. if someone has a good x11 config for R9 290 TRI-X OC it would make my day good choice for summer, half my PC are in multi pool - http://x11.greenpool.tk/ and the other half mining directly VTC+MON apparently many people want VERTCOIN, multi pool has good speed Pool Stats: Hashrate: 534.38 MH/s People who mining here wafflepool.com, should soon be transferred because they earn less in wafflepool.com, but more in x11.greenpool.tk

I posted this in reddit.com/r/vertcoin, but I will post it here too.
I highly recommend everyone who reads this to switch over to this X11 multipool. You can currently mine more coins daily and decrease electricity costs. As this pool gets larger, it will increase buy orders on the exchange; increase VTC's price.
Summer keeps getting hotter, and "mining profit:electricity" is getting scarce. However, miners can mine the X11 algorithm and decrease GPU temperature 10+ degrees and lower electricity consumption by 50%.
For anyone who is unaware, wafflepool is a multipool that recently added Scrypt-N coins. It's currently mining 700 MH/s at Vertcoin and instantly selling it for BTC. That is 12% of VTC's network consistently selling. This has been effectively lowering VTC's price since its release.
Since 06/03/2014, WafflePool has managed to mine and sell 34,000. This number is increasing nearly every hour. Luckily, GreenPool just released their X11 multipool.
WafflePool's Scrypt-N Stats: http://wafflepool.com/stats/nscrypt
WafflePool's Vertcoin Wallet: https://explorer.vertcoin.org/address/VgoL97E5CEbPJtcfuNHw9B8rEudTgVQeC6
GreenPool's X11: http://x11.greenpool.tk/
Miners are already showing their support with, already, over 500 MH/s mining and buying VTC. Unfortunately, this is not enough. We need much more to counteract the sell pressure that is being dealt.
BONUS: Nvidia (CudaMiner) users should expect 6X increase in hash rate. (750 Ti = 2.3 MH/s | R9 290 = 3.4 MH/s)
I am willing to donate, and recommend others to join, 5+ VTC for anyone who makes a guide to help miners switch to X11 from Scrypt-N. I expect it to be comprehensive enough to easily get the most out of their GPUs and installing/configuring the X11 Miner or CudaMiner.
Until this sell pressure is neutralized, this pool and VTC itself needs more hash power. I understand the developers are working on possibilities to fend off multipools like WafflePool. In the meantime, the VTC will continuously get massively sold and this is the only countermeasure

With last efficient ccminer version - over 2.6 MH/s is easy with 750Ti, @ 45W from the wall (~85% PSU eff.) Jun 26 11:33:12 kopiemtu cpuminer[5330]: GPU #0: GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 2638 khash/s Jun 26 11:33:12 kopiemtu cpuminer[5330]: accepted: 1439/1446 (99.52%), 7936 khash/s (yay!!!) Jun 26 11:33:15 kopiemtu cpuminer[5330]: GPU #1: GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 2632 khash/s Jun 26 11:33:15 kopiemtu cpuminer[5330]: accepted: 1440/1447 (99.52%), 7927 khash/s (yay!!!) Just go for KopiemTu v1.3, and apply the patch from post below - for having brand new ccminer with "Groestl killer": https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=16800.msg186597#msg186597

You are on the X11 section, so you will see X11 statistics by default. Same goes for the Scrypt and SHA-256 section.
