Just an FYI to miners who may not know. The .net domain is no longer being used for connecting to the pool at leetpools. You need to change your conf and/or bat files to .com:3333 or .com:3335. Carry on.

You'll never know what you're living for until you know what you're willing to die for.
Never look back, something might be gaining on you.

Yes.
Virtual Memory in windows is very important for scrypt mining, on 290/290X cards too.
I will add this info to my posted settings, it may be useful to someone.
I'm glad you its ok now Smiley

Any mirror for the Mac wallet? Sorry if already posted but 500+ pages is a lot to look through. The link in the OP says I can only download if I pay for premium service.

The way its going there will only be one pool left for UTC.
If leet pools goes away, all those orphans will just get passed on to the smaller pools, and the smaller pools will o/c also die.

Nitro's hash is physically destroying the viability of other pools day after day, nitro has complete monopoly of the block-chain atm.

Leet pools is literally absorbing the brunt of the orphans for the benefit of the network, how long do you think the spartans will keep the shields up protecting the smaller pools from the nitro Persians?

At this point , the UTC dev team needs to find a way to patch against 51% attacks by hard coding a limit on pool hash-rates to 45% or something.
Some kind of balancing scheme.

I propose some kind of UTC Pool hash balancing scheme.
Imagine if the network was smart enough to adjust the difficulty for each pool separately based on the percentage of hash that pool receives.
Pools with higher hash say over 45% could start to have their difficulty increase, and smaller pools with less hash could have the difficulty decreased.
This would cause all miners to actively seek a balance point where all pools are on the same difficulty.

It would solve everything and ensure 100% network security against a 51% attack.
You could have specified difficulty ranges for each bracket (1~10% , 11~20% etc...) and as one pool approaches 51% of the network the difficulty of that pool rises to correct the networks miss-allocation of resources, it would also protect against forks, which are pretty much a certainty at this point for UTC in the future.

Leetpools has literally sacrificed more than any pool for this community, so many promos, so many upgrades , so many give-aways , so many hours of leetpools helping people on irc.

Least people could do is spread hash out to make the network stable and secure for the long haul, people would rather just be lazy and mine on nitro with 10% fees than go spread the hash out on perfectly good pools like leet and others who are offering constant promos to try and correct the problem.

That doesn't make sense, then solo miners will have very low diff it would be better to cpu mine this coin for maximum profit :p.

You hide behind this while taking more profits and claiming you've done everything you can. It's bullshit and I'm calling you out on it. Raise your fees and distribute the hash rate, because miners whom choose not to mine on your pool do not deserve to be punished. I am going to boycott your pool at my own expense in hopes to fix this issue for the Ultracoin community. Raise your fees to 10%. It's the only way it will make people move. Speaking of seeing pools take action, Leetpools is the only one that has attempted to balance the hash rate by offering 0% fees and block finder rewards. What have you done? Took 3% fees and continued to perpetuate the problem while filling your own pockets. All of you in the community should speak up as well.

Thanks

That doesn't make sense, then solo miners will have very low diff it would be better to cpu mine this coin for maximum profit :p.

What we have now doesn't make sense.
If things continue, the only solution will be, there will only be one pool, what self-respecting coin has only.... one pool?

Leetpools!

Working fine for me. What problem are you having?

You'll never know what you're living for until you know what you're willing to die for.
Never look back, something might be gaining on you.
