Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Anybody helps me please, i stuck with the config of 280x, i use win 8.1 and 4GB ram with the TC 16384 and I 12, and the cmd show me only HW!

For ppl asking for 270x and 290 miner .bat or .conf
I use -g 2, --gpu-threads 1, I 18 and look gap 2 for both cards.
tc 270x 25984
tc 290 i use 51968 running for 4 days straight, but anything over 42000 works for a few hours but crashes for me. 12gb ram allows high tc like 51968.
270x 90kh 1150/1466
290 170kh 1050/1470
minimal/no rejects, no HW

tc 290 i use 51968 running for 4 days straight, but anything over 42000 works for a few hours but crashes for me. 12gb ram allows high tc like 51968.

minimal/no rejects, no HW
Are you sure you can use -g 2 on 270x ?? I tried it but it gives me HW errors and runs very slow. I can only run it at -g 1 |

I use these settings for r9 290 "intensity" : "18", "vectors" : "1", "worksize" : "64", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "56320", "temp-cutoff" : "92", "temp-overheat" : "85", "temp-target" : "75", i get around 160KH/s undervolted and underclocked! |
