Now the total hashrate is 30 petahash: http://allchains.info/

So 30*0.2= 6 petahash

An S1 produces 180ghash

So 6000000/180=33333 ants S1

What is the standard wait time for RMA items? I have returned 2 broken control boards **snip**

So... I am not posting to whinge - but as a warning to others. If you are sending anything back to Bitmain - be sure to send it tracked and registered.
I went for the 'quicker option' and sent it via 'regular post'. Not recommended.

So, now I have an Ant that cost me 1.45 BTC, it only mined for 16 hours and then the controller failed. It had a solid green LED on the network port. A quick 'two-way-swap' confirmed the controller was faulty. So I posted it back on the 19th Feb. I have emailed and PM'd both Bitmain and Sushi, till I am blue in the face. Bitmain just keeps replying with the same message.

I have ordered  a couple of more times from them since , and requested that they include the replacement controller - to no avail....
C'mon bitmain, get it together   Your delivery times and zero BS approach are exemplary, we should be so lucky that other companies were half as good.  You just need to tighten up a little on your after-sales customer service. Keep up the good work - and purleeze - check your PM's and email and sort me out....

I can attest to this, although I did use tracking on my shipment. Both of my control boards have reached their destination a while ago, and I have yet to hear back about any replacements (I'd pay the $25 service fee at this point, even though they are clearly broken) or about any type of compensation for the potential profits lost.

I have been waiting for two control boards to be returned and have been waiting nearly two weeks. I have ordered at least 15 S1s from their factory since this time and have requested to buy control boards from them even, as the RMA process appears to be on hold.

If anyone has extra control boards, or knows where I could purchase some, please let me know! Two S1s sitting idle just losing value more and more each day, and no way to get them going.

Hopefully BITMAIN will get their RMA process optimized soon.

You will need a paper clip to jumper the psu to turn it on.
No, you cannot power 2 AntminerS1's from a 600W psu.

All I have to do is the jumper? I don't have to cut and splice pci wires and all that?

Just ordered two of these babies. Just about to order the PSUs. Should I get one Corsair 750 to run each or does the 600 work just as well? Plan to overclock. Alternately can I run them off a single 1200w psu?

Hopefully it can all arrive by the weekend. Wife won't be too thrilled with the extra heating in the apartment though. Hopefully I can send her a full BTC in 20 days to make up for it

Corsair AX1200 works good for 2 and EVGA 1300G2 works perfectly with 3. OC'd these draw 400 watts.
