It's already trading at Kraken -> https://www.kraken.com/charts (switch to ETH/XBT).

 The pairs are up, as part of the ethical strategy by Ethereum. They call it the "thawing period". Mining clients are available for setup, but real mining starts only days after subsequent update. After that is established to secure the network, trading opens. It's sort of an RC release before going live.

But this is news from days ago, though I really don't think it has actually started.

replace version with whatever you want to update to.

ctrl-c to stop the tail command showing the log when you are done.

Will need some tweaking to work correctly with dash-cli in v12 I believe. But someone more knowledgable than me can chime in.

Did you even bother to click that link and watch the pair? If you did you would've seen there are multiple trades executed in the last hour and trading volume is over 100k$.  I was thinking about Ethercoin! Coinmarketcap has the same symbol for both. Ethercoin is the scam, have no clue what Ethereum is.

 Indeed, Ethereum, the project, got 18 million in funding, so that seems both right and expected. But what I don't get is that Ethereum is the project with a protocol called Ether. The tokens/coins are called Ether. Coinmarketcap should have "Ether" up there, not Ethereum with the same symbol as Ethercoin

Yes, it's the real thing. I submitted the info through the form to Gliss, and it's my bad for referring to it as Ethereum rather than Ether. Anyway, actual real live ether is trading, for real, at Kraken. Poloniex and Gatecoin will join tomorrow. See the ethereum and ethtrader subreddit for more details.

There is no open database (just general information - your number was issued aprox. 1950-1960) - but these are some "services" who can find info. it is not easy and not cheap - usually for people who want to find their relatives and so on...

It wasn't my buyers who sold, I saw their masternodes going up, hence the change in countries hosting, they are long term MN-ers np, they had a cushion for just this sort of event but not enough to be worth flipping them and I checked them out thoroughly first as well, not everyone is just after a fast buck that harms their long term interest.

To be clear: If I bought i.e. 5K DASH @ 0.011 and price is ( @ Cryptsy i.e. ) 0.017 it might be fast profit to sell all 5 K ( or whatever) down to .011. Tx Otoh, anyway, Im just trying to understand today price drop. Just can't believe ppl panic selling because bitfinex delists "darkcoin aka DASH "
