I see 3018 masternodes up.
Yeah, active MNs' heading back north again. I think a few exchanges of DASH have been completed Indeed, they have :-) It also means that I now have an enormous replenished war chest of fiat & BTC funds for whenever I feel may be a good time to deploy them ;-) Edit & some pennies from heaven appeared as well, 100 BTC worth of Ether that I purchased in the ICO back in July 2014 are suddenly in the money for some nice three figures k USD worth of Etherium, it's been quite a day

I also had confirmation today about who exactly sold the 7k DASH that was dumped yesterday, as I already knew it wasn't one of my MN buyers, but was someone who'd approached me a couple of days or three ago to see if I wanted to buy exactly that quantity or knew someone who did as they needed to make an exceptional one off sale for fiat needs, I said that I'd ask around and get back to them, but when they saw the BFX news come out they pussied out and panic sold, they weren't even really into crypto anyway so good riddance.

So...did you wish you had bought them? Or are you looking back and laughing

Or are you looking back and laughing No I wouldn't have bought them, I have plenty enough to be backing the long term future of DASH, I was just selling some of my MN to give greater distribution at that time, certainly not looking back and laughing either, I don't look back nor laugh at people as a rule, well except for total plonkers like icebuggery of course which is inevitable. Walk and don't look back

Not really followed the history of this coin much, but always wondered 1 thing. Why did this get renamed from Dark to Dash? I assumed Dash sounds more consumer friendly?

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Does anyone have a link with a biggest DASH exchange (volume vise). How is the new exchange livecoin doing? Wish it could added on bitcoinwisdom.

Does livecoin require any sort of authentication? It seems to me, like you just open an account and start trading without any need to provide proof of address... or do you have to provide these things ?

I haven't registered so I don't know for sure, but scrolling through their legal mumbo jumbo I can't find anything related to verification. User agreement says nothing, only Privacy Policy has a hint: Information Collection And Use While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, postal address and phone number ("Personal Information"). Looks like only fiat trading requires personal data.

Darkcoin has a bad reputation thanks to being insta-mined. The renaming is an attempt to hide Dash's shameful past from new bagholders.

Also important: LiveCoin: Please note, withdrawals from the account in the amount of 500 USD, moderated by the Administrator of the system during business days (working hours: 9:00 - 22:00 (GMT+3))
