Anyone have ideas about why there are such big swings in price at the moment.  Dash usually isn't like that.  It usually goes up and down in slow increments.  On the other hand, this may only be an illusion as I'm not so sophisticated, and the charts kind of change their amplitude etc... which can make them look smooth or volatile, LOL.  And I have no idea what I'm doing to cause that???

i thought about that as well and i came up with two possibilities :

1 : large bagholder wanted out no matter what ..  which explains the rather unexspected dumping from 0.0158 to 0.0142
2 : large whale imposed a "correction" on the price to keep it more inline with whale's own strategy about price or maybe large whale was just dumping to make a living.

Well, I was told that aleix is one of the people putting this together, and he's one of our community members, so Dash should be well represented there   But beware, Andreas is committed to Bitcoin, they pay his bills, so don't expect too much from him

We have some logistical problems due the terrorist attacks in Belgium . We have people coming from all Europe, and some of they are stuck because of the no flight zone (one of the team organizers is living in Belgium now and can't move to bcn). Bad times

Have not read much into it(or it might already exist) but why not create a proposal that the 10% block reward go towards creating Foundation/Developer MasterNodes? That way it adds nodes to the system while also doubling up as steady source of revenue for development?

Didn't someone mention the stolen/missing Mintpal and Cryptsy coins were being dumped for a whole year, suppressing the Dash price?

Considering what the team and community have built, there is no reason why the Dash market-cap cannot continue increasing from here.

The main issue is that when someone decides to take down their Masternode, they are likely to quickly dump it into the current market buy orders (which can be a bit thin at times).

Has the team considered adding a delay, so that Masternode coins are not spendable for a certain amount of time (~24-48 hrs) after a Masternode is taken offline?

A delay could give the market time to prepare while additional coins move to the currency market, and could add stability as it creates another level of separation from the Dash reserve market.

Where it says "Pooling" you can use the service to share a Masternode with others, receiving proportional ROI. It is my estimation that in the future Evolution DApps will be used to split voting rights among Masternode shareholders, too.

Yeah...
Decentralised MN pooling would be great to see but imo it still needs some time before it appears.
Remember that we have great developers who know how to make dash magic so we can see some kind of the trustless solution.
