St. Louis Fed President James Bullard has Mixed Reviews for Cryptocurrencies The president of the St. Louis Federal Reserve, James Bullard, spoke at the opening day of Consensus 2018 in NYC where he had some mixed reviews of cryptocurrencies (his talk begins at minute 55:00 in the video).
His talk combined the history of privately issued money, monetary theory, and debates that exist within the economics of currency. He believes that cryptocurrencies are “creating a drift to non-uniform currency” within the United States and highlights that the “literature says that publicly issued money and the privately issued currency can coexist as an equilibrium”. He added that non-uniform currencies were historically not popular and eventually replaced, citing pre-civil war era in the United States. He also referenced the current standard of non-uniform international currencies, but added that those currencies typically have relatively high and unpopular volatility. |

The new video shows a sample interface for the main wallet on the upcoming Evolution platform. How exactly would you adapt Dash (or crypto currency in general ) to an extremely small country , perhaps the size of a medium -sized city ? your currency is linked to the USD , but is not the USD , and that country is a sovereign nation .

There are three ways the price of Dash can grow against Bitcoin and form a new ATH : * through speculation (for example people exspecting a higher price when Dash Evolution comes out, so they buy more Dash before Dash Evolution gets released) * through "normal" market movements (for example a new longterm uptrend) * through increased actual usage (for example the ALT36 proposal and other budget proposals having a lasting effect by increasing the number of transactions, users and merchants) Speculation will most likely drive the price of Dash up much faster then normal market movements / increased actual usage and will lead to a new ATH against Bitcoin much more quickly but all three in itself can lead to a new ATH for Dash. So yes, i think we will see a new ATH for Dash against Bitcoin again .. |

CEO and Founder of IOHK Calls Dash a “Great Cryptocurrency” Charles Hoskinson, CEO and Founder of IOHK, a blockchain research and development firm best know for creating Cardano, recently gave some praise to Dash during his talk at TOKEN2049.
Charles mentioned “the problem of sustainability” relative to “who pays and who decides” to improve and develop the blockchain. He said that there should be a “treasury” as a “decentralized account” that can decide to issue money and “give it to the people when they need it, how they need it, and with some notion of democracy behind it”. He then expanded that he wants “people to vote, that have the tokens”, and allow them to “approve or reject the proposal” and said that there “is a cryptocurrency here that actually did that; it’s called Dash”. He added that Dash is a “great cryptocurrency” and said they were “quite impressed” after studying Dash. |

I was looking in to the dash masternode sharing and from what I understand. We are required to just send our dash to an anonymous individual over the internet? Theres got to be a better way? lol

For now it's a trusted thing. But Dev team will make something nontrusted after the evolution released. I used moocowmoo's service. he's not a random person, he is one of the core devs. it's not as good as an nontrusted setup but for more than 6 months I had no problems and when I needed that 25 dash for my expenses, I get my dash back without problems. |
