Enforcement caused forks yet again and it's been disabled. Anyone not on the correct fork just needs to restart the daemon with --reindex and it'll be fine. Can anyone who was stuck on a fork please email me the debug.log to evan@darkcoin.io?

This may be a dumb question but : how do i know if my masternode was stuck on a fork?

darkcoind getinfo, check block height against official explorer. If radically different (usually way ahead) you're on the wrong fork.

then, to double check, "darkcoind getblockhash 163520"   (for example) ... should return 00000000000665aead3e96a3b065904b952d8913998c2d5281f913caabdbc231

ok thanks!

i have one which is like 300 blocks behind

can someone give me step by step commands so i can save the logfile to send to evan, and then the command to fix it?

linux noob here, sorry guys Sad

thanks already!

Debug log located:

/home/your-user/.darkcoin/debug.log

If you're not good with linux you can access your files on your linux server using WinSCP

he also needs to do a --reindex of his blockchain. Not sure how to do that in Linux though...

./darkcoind --reindex

But really, as long as you stopped the daemon and waited a minute or so, you should be able to start it and it will sync fine. I never had to reindex any of my masternodes.

Is cex.io a big thing?

Ghash.io, the mining pool for Cex.io, currently holds 18% of BTC blocks. So I would say, yes, its a huge thing. Great PR for all who know not of DRK.

yep, download and sync latest wallet, encrypt wallet, make backup of wallet, buy coins at exchange and sent to new wallet.
Will take some time to download and sync the blockchain, when done check the options in yr wallet for amount to mix and
number of rounds. Press large Start Darksend Mixing button to start the mixing. Each mixing round is 0.0125 drk with a couple
of selfpayments (0.00 or 0.001 drk) that handles splitting fees. 4 rounds of mixing should be enough, with higher rounds you
get more anonymity (8 rounds max). Make regular backups.

Do I remember correctly that 2 rounds in more than enough for crazy high degree of anti-NSA anonymity, even if they owned huge numbers of MN's?

Woops, you're totally right. Edited my post. To note that Mangled is a solid member of the community.

how do you know? better be careful! I got him on ignore since long time and would not advice anybody to trust him. Flare is the one you can trust I would say.

I know he is, hands down, a solid member of the community. Never said anything more than that. The only reason I have not done Pooled Masternodes before (even upon request) was I could not figure how to do it in a trustless manner. When you need to hand funds to someone else, it is what it is...

I can confirm that I am, so far, satisfied user of Mangled Blue shared MN service.
Flare was in cc via email confirming that he is accepting to host our shared MN.

We have to build solid trust here in community. It doesn't cost a thing to spread a good word of ppl, when they deserve.
Thank you Mangled Blue/Flare for your nice service!

check this guide :

http://coinbrief.net/how-to-use-darkcoin-wallet-darksend/

note : only thing different with the guide is that the enabling / disabling of Darksend Mixing is now done through one large button, mixing will
always stop when yr closing the wallet or by pressing the button again and is disabled by default when opening the wallet..
