i think we are slowly entering a phase where Darkcoin will be a lot more discussed in the media and by other groups .. our little innercircle will be getting wider and wider.

edit : also a lot more discussion and attention for Darknet in general and Bazaar, even the European Union is starting up a group focussed on Darknet.

Yes and let's all remember to be extra nice and welcoming and patient when all the n00bs come on here and ask stupid questions  Wink

Lets practice.

Whats a masternode and don't they mean Darkcoin is centralised?

 Cheesy

I'm getting an error when trying to send funds, it says I don't have enough Darksend balance but I can see I have enough coins  Wink

i accidentally pressed that big button labeled ''Start Darksend Mixing'' and now all of a sudden i'm getting 0.0125 fees withdrawn from my wallet ?  Huh

Maybe it would be a good idea to appoint one or a couple people who are responsible to answer the noobs questions. preferrably people who don't reply with how stupid morons the people asking the questions are (rings a bell?  Wink )

Maybe we could even make a separate thread for this on darkcointalk, the noobiethread, where we can point them to.

What is the monthly income per MN ?

i can give you a daily estimate : https://drk.mn/masternodes.html#mnversions

Total Masternodes: 1109 = 1109 actives + 0 inactives (Last refresh: Tue Nov 04 2014 ‎20‎:‎51‎:‎33)
Estimated daily payout for an active node (blocks with MN payments last 24h: 92.28%): 0.63 DRK/day (Last Refreshed: Tue Nov 04 2014 ‎20‎:‎51‎:‎33)

keep in mind that the % is going up (from 25 to 30 to 35 etc), see full schedule here : https://darkcointalk.org/threads/v10-15-onyx-release.2683/

looks like you can grab it from github already .. but lets wait till Evan gives an official announcement.

Feel free to start updating. I'm just compiling it and writing the announcement.

edit: v0.10.15.19 is out. Added a bit of debugging and another sanity check

I like looking at it from a worst case, target level basis. Assuming we have 3000 masternodes at the time the masternodes have 60% payouts and max difficulty making the block reward the minimum of 5, you're looking at about 0.576 DRK/Day/MN or about 20% annual ROI.

indeed update both, but it's not necessary to use the local wallet to restart masternode.

that part you can fully do on the mn server
