zapwallettxes should be used on start up, yes. It will just remove any unconfirmed txs from the wallet, so if they are not in mempool, fell out or never transmitted in the first place, this will allow you to resend the coins.

Re-started wallet using "-zapwallettxes" & after rescanning none of the missing funds have re-appeared back in my wallet. I'm beginning to think that all my sent HUC are gone forever due to a bug in the blockchain/client. 15 transactions up in smoke for no reason or explanation.

Have you tried dumping your private keys and importing into a fresh wallet then rescanning?

Just make sure to backup your wallet.dat prior to do doing that.

Yeah, tried both of those a while ago. Importing keys worked but rescanning still failed to retreive the funds & salvage wallet just didn't work.
 I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that the coins have gone now & have no idea why. I've been a long time fan of HUC, but this has left a sour taste in my mouth tbh. Every time I send HUC anywhere now I'm expecting them to go up in smoke again - I've lost a lot of faith in the HUC wallet/blockchain now I'm afraid.

Thanks for the offer. When the salvagewallet failed I simply got rid of it & started a fresh wallet up - all I have left is the wallet.1487605984.bak produced by the salvagewallet & maybe the original wallet.dat file - are those enough?

I am new to huntercoin, can someone point me in the right direction, I downloaded Huntercore-0.13-AiO-1.22-with-pruned-chain.exe, on my win 7 32 bit pc, and it generated 2 shortcuts, and when I started the QT-Huntercoin-Wallet shortcut it gave me error saying that the version of that file is not compatible with the version of my windows, and that I should contact admin...
I downloaded the exe file from the 1st page of this thread, is there a newer version?

How many coins have been mined so far, is there a way to check that somewhere, possibly with command inside Huntercoin wallet? Also, by looking at amount of new coins spawning at the map it seems to me that block reward halving happened some time ago, is that true?

I tried to compile the Linux deamon with the link given into forum/website and i got a bad version and error.

Where to find a node list? Only3 nodes, is REALLY poor. Block explorer give no information about network (diff, nodes, version, etc)

Nope , they did a hardfork and update the qt, 64 bit version only.. Need to update windows to x64 version to run HUC now

Although that would be a sizeable jump, it wouldn't be *that* surprising considering the fact that likely many of the people holding are long term Huntercoin holders who believe in the underlying fundamentals (uniquw concept, great and seemingly ethical core development team including Snailbrain, and Domob, a long term member of the community and developer of namecoin) or traders that either bought during the brief pump last Fall or now that the Chimera project has been announced. Most of them have bought in the 1.8K-3.0K range, so to gain a decent profit we have a fair bit higher to go...

This game is so difficult. I keep getting killed and only reach the bank with very few huc. How will I make enough to cover death costs ? Eben though it is 100 and not app like before it is still difficult. How sre people making bank here ?
