A lot of talk about speculative issues, as if huc / chi were a casino. But people need to understand the importance of adding direct human input to mining, basically creating employees who will do whatever work is on that blockchain. Huntercoin came out early and strong but still no other coins have even noticed the significance and tried to copy.

By the way I also think burning HUC for CHI would be the best approach here.

It reminds me of Bitcoin and Counterparty (XCP). XCP was created by people that were willing to burn Bitcoin. A very honorable way of issuing the token.

first, seems to be alright now it only happened to me like 4 or 5 times in space of 3 days.. no biggie like i said i got all my hucs back.

Next can only the people who invest 10k hucs get the free new coins? Say i only have 1k to invest can i still get the 3 to 1 exchange?..

Also i been asking on the bitcoin core release pages about importing the "seed' and was told cant be done yet, import/export i mean.. So guess you guys tested this right?

#_HUC_converted_to_CHI * 20 = total CHI supply?

these are the things that convince me that i made the right decision when i stopped to support huntercoin.
this is very sad, as sad is the fact that there are no details about how you achieved that 5% value you talk about in the pdf (I suspect the final value will be even less! e.g. a lot is lock on gamefund and i suspect they even consideret the total 42mil supply and not the actual value, so without clear numbers take even that 5% with caution)

- not even clear numbers about total supply

based on my experience on huntercoin, i wouldn't invest on chimaera and even the fact that "The Bitcoin Co-op" isn't anymore involved makes me wonder...

At least now, some people will stop to act as cheerleaders on this topic, and people can focus on more important and serious projects out there

P.S.
there is nothing fancy about creating a "gaming platform", it's just a matter of using already available techs like having pegged sidechains and eventually some masternodes, and some kind of lightning network to handle lot of transactions (if needed), I'm even planning to do something similar on Startis (a serious blockchain platform) in future. All tech pieces already available, so I don't understand even why keep this 007 mood, hiding every details that are vital to people who want to decide if invest or not.

anyway I'm not surprised about the LOW % and the fact that he shown to old supporter how he doesn't care about them (luckily i sold my shares times ago) but i'm more concerned about how unprofessional this project started already, without any kind of information, PR, community management or anything else... what's the point about hyping the platform before even having a simple website with basic information available?...

About HUC, i hope someone will fork it and push it on the right track, it deserve to survive and improve, gameplay fixed, etc.., even if the original team stopped to support it.

If someone will carry on it, I'll give my support by resurrecting my client

I am generally not a fan of ICOs or premines, but I'm not gonna complain about airdrop before even hearing details of the rest of coins wrt premine, ICO, and amount that will be mined.

Huntercoin owners will keep their huc and get some chi as well, 5% of the total supply. Chi will probably add something to huc, if done well, so long term huc supporters should do okay.

If somebody does not like huntercoin they honestly shouldn't buy it, there are other coins they can focus on.

It looks like a good coin to me though.
