LOL. I wish I had noticed there was a Linux wallet bounty; I've been running it for several days. I am so used to boost errors when compiling that I edit makefiles before even trying, now.

I hope this doesn't end up in the 1 satoshi graveyard.
I doubt it. Remember this is scrypt-n. I already see Asics ruining scrypt and people migrating to scrypt-n coins. I think the price is very low now due to bitcoin being so low as well as the whole alt coins being diluted by 5 new coins every day. Most of them will fail, but GPU coin should be one that survives due to the store having a real use for the coin. I think a lot of marketing needs to be done, but when that and Mintpal or Cryptsy has GPU coin, I can see a huge upside potential. Congrats, gpucoin has now made it to 1 satoshi on poloniex! Maybe Jaynes should just switch to something like blackcoins or whitecoins instead?

The best time to buy something is when no one wants it That's true with pandacoins too but doesn't make it anymore of a good investment before getting delisted from mintpal's btc market.

But Pandacoins have no purpose. I know we are not doing well, but if Jaymes takes the advises I sent him and keep this business running in the next 2-3 months, just wait and see what will happen to GPUcoin when ASICs get shipped and first, people turn to scrypt-n and X11 and second, the hype for GPUmining as well as the demand for GPUs skyrocket again...

Well, it's not clear whether GPU Coin has any purpose, bought a card from the store a week ago — haven't received it yet. Not a single e-mail from them, and they're not answering my e-mails.. Might be a scam after all. First card bought 2 weeks ago was delivered pretty fast though, but back then they were also sending out e-mails with tracking numbers and stuff. This time no contact and no card.

But that would be too obvious and would've made quite a few enemies. A better scam requires wearing out victims over time, making it look like it's not a scam but like things just honestly didn't work out somehow, like there were problems in real life, not enough experience and a bunch of other excuses.. while in process the scammer gets away with not all but still considerable amount of money with less risks for him than if he'd just disappear after collecting the initial IPO funds. A lot of investors and miners lose interest over time and reconcile with their losses, others would've believed that the failure was natural and not planned from the start and would also move on.. it's still a simple scheme and a lot safer than to just get away with all the money from the start. I do hope though that it's not a scam and the card will be shipped after all. Quite a few cards were sold a week ago when the price spiked up so I don't think I'm the only one waiting for mine.

Scammers usually don't start a LLC company and post their picture on the internet and video of them on youtube. I doubt Jaymes is a scammer, but he has some real credibility issues because of his lack of posting here.

Regardless of issues, if there are people who don't have product yet, and aren't getting emails or contact returned.. there's a huge problem. He should delegate. Is there anywhere which shows "products will be shipped in X days from order" or anything like that on the website?
Definitely sucks.

Maybe Jaynes should just switch to something like blackcoins or whitecoins instead? There is no Asic for Scrypt coins yet, still waiting.. But i know the problems associated with scrypt, but this is the algo on which i have chosen to create right now.. Yes it uses scrypt but it was a decision i had to make between x11 and POS i feel that POS coins have a greater future and greener. You cant have X11 and POS combined(shame) i am reliably informed, as this would have been my preferred choice.. If i anyone knows different, then please feel free to let me know.. So at this stage, i am convinced that the scrpyt algo will be the future with POS the network with be stronger for longer and more secure, could be wrong but i like my current business plan which is similar to gpucoin with POS. I will be starting a topic as soon as the coin is ready. James and Micron/henrix did a fab job with the coin unfortunately Micron has not decided to join me.. hendrix, Please check your PM if you havent done so already.. Yes, i know there are lots of coins and all claiming to be different in some way or another, i am like you a miner at heart with an investment background.. So a perfect combo.. Now, i like what GPU coin did, but unfortunately they missed one vital part to their plan.. i will be adding that part to my coin.. No i am not creating another GPU store either.. But will work in a similar way.. I will drop back when i have more info..

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

I am not a troll just a pissed off investor... Ok lets do some math.. 44 Radeon R9 280X New egg price. $379.99 10 R9 270 New egg price. $194.99 44 Radeon R7 240 New egg price 69.99 44 x $379.99 = $16719.56 10 x $194.99 = $1949.90 44 x $69.99 = $3079.56 Plus shipping = $337.52 _________ Total price $22086.54 USD He was giving 71 BTC at the time BTC was at $600.00 71 x 600.00 = $42600.00 WOW!!! $42600.00 USD -$22086.54 USD ______________ = $20513.46 USDNow remember he told us he gets way better prices then newegg.com and the R7 240 he is sell for $27.00 because he bought them so cheap. So my math is not right my prices are off newegg.. WERE IS THE $20513.46 CEO!!!! I think the real number is more like $25000.00 usd He needs to account for that money.. In my state it is a felony to steal 20K... Call me what you want. The numbers do not lie.. yeah, I pointed this out a few days ago but people just thought I was trolling or something. The number of GPUs put up by the store for sale only accounts for around half of the funds. Where did the rest of the IPO money go?

He is either extremely incompetent or just doesn't give a crap. I am guessing a bit of both.

Any tutorials on solo mining? With such low diff, I decided to waste some electricity... I'm not sure I'm mining, because my wallet shows ~27 Mhash/sec network hashrate, but I have ~10 spare Mhash/sec. I though if everything is correct, I should get a block every couple of minutes... But nothing so far almost for hour. Also, when is my linux wallet bounty going to arrive? Who's responsible for this part?

Well it was pointed out by some others that this PO was for someone else, not the store. If that helps any. 27MH netrate? Wow.
