Hello everybody, I discovered the service https://www.nicehash.com/ They rent computational power. I would like to use it with miningpoolhub.com. I've tried and started it and invested 0.05BTC on mining Monero, without putting any limit (in GH/sec) I didn't see the point of putting a limit, in fact the quicker the better?!? But I guess I missed something... Indeed miningpoolhub.com only gave me 1.27 XMR in return, while 0.05BTC is worth more than twice than that. What did I do wrong? What's the problem? Any suggestion about using https://www.nicehash.com/ in combination with miningpoolhub.com? Thanks a lot in advance for any answer! Mining is estimations and luck. You should rent for hours/days at slow speeds. You are unlikely to gain anything though; if you want to convert BTC to XMR then I recommend using an exchange.

I did this more or less as an experiment The idea of preferring slow speeds is that you contribute to with a small % (say 1%) to each block worded by your mining pool. If your MiningPool wins that block, you get your 1% of the reward associated with that block. Otherwise my computational power is lost. So, if your mining Pool wins say 10blocks/day, after 1 day of work statistically you get (10*Reward_of_each_block)* (1%). The problem, instead, of renting a lot of computational power for a short time is that I might contribute 50% just for a couple of blocks, and if those blocks don't win, I'm screwed. (If the win, instead, I can get much more reward). Is what I wrote above correct? Sorry I'm a total noob with mining! Another specific question: what are the 'Round Shares' ? Are they collected over multiple blocks, or reset to zero after each block (won or lost)?

It's PPLNS so the shares are a bit confusing; you will get shares even after you have stopped mining and is not equal throughout the round. Pool is using PPLNS. So you get less at starting blocks but get more from last blocks. You even get few round of rewards even when you stop mining.

Can anyone explain this pictures: https://i.stack.imgur.com/VpzFO.pngI mined at 179-180 mh/s And yet I got a mere 140 mh/s at miningpoolhub I should test other pools too. I noticed it today.

The pool is just measuring what it receives over 5 minutes (submitted shares); it doesn't actually know your hashrate. Never mind. It's fixed. Hmm the problem is the opposite now. https://i.stack.imgur.com/cTn0M.png----- The pool knows my hashrate. It's pretty exact. Why it says I make .02 shares /s though is beyond me. The new screenshot is even amazing. Miningpoolhub says I am sending 212mh/s. I know that the only machine points to that account produces constant 180 mh/s Also what is this: Round Shares [Submitted shares since last found block (ie. round shares)] Est. Shares 20,150,275 (done: 0%) Your Valid 0.0000 Your Invalid 0.0000 (0.00%) So since last found block I haven't submitted any valid shares? It doesn't make sense. Also in worker configuration there is a switch called "monitor" what is it? Worker Configuration

Yes, it will go up and down because it doesn't have access to the hashrate; it works out the same. It's a 0.02% share of the pool; if it was 100% then you would be the only person in the pool and would own everything that is found.

It only knows the number of valid shares and the stratum difficulty of my miner. So that's why it went up and down. It estimates my hashrate based on that.

I've been mining with multipoolminer for quite a while.
I wonder if there is a way to check hash at miningpoolhub? For example, say I am connected. Can I look at miningpoolhub and see ah, this rig is producing this much that rig is producing that much?
How much money we lost on "autoexchange"? Just curious.
I think MiningPoolHub is trying to add features like that but maintenance and new coins take a lot of time. You can see the live hashrate of each worker if you go into each coin but that's it; it's all quite disconnected. I would also like this. Some place you can monitor what is mining were. Not needing to go search all the coins dashboards that's is in your balance.

It should be; it's using Bittrex exchange. No any autoexchange for musicoin since open musicoin pool for me. Looks very strange. And what i must do vs 45 maxcoins and some vcash coin? No any autoexchange very long time, so can i delete it or exchange it manually?

If there is a problem then MiningPoolHub will fix it for everyone.

Is Musicoin Auto Exchange Stuck?
I mine ethash on 17020. On most coins, I see balances move through unconfirmed, then confirmed credited for auto exchange, then on exchange, and finally my chosen coin balance will increase.
Over the past 3 days or so, I see Musicoin showing up in my account and the balance says credited for auto exchange, but it never moves to the exchange. It has been a couple of days and there is a pretty decent balance in there, so I would think it should go to the exchange by now.
Thanks!

Same place that you turned it on; in 'Auto Exchange' on the menu that is to the left of the website. Change it from 'Bitcoin' to 'Not Set'.
