I'm out; I can no longer justify running my hardware for obvious reasons. But it's been a fun run, and I don't regret taking the chance. I'm still in it for the long haul, and can't wait to see what the future holds for Bitcoin.

So I just wanted to leave a note of thanks to you eleuthria. I don't know how long you can keep this pool going as the mining becomes more & more centralized, but I hope you find a way & wish you the best.

Best Regards,

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Over the past two days I have had the following message several times when trying to connect to BTCG website:

Quote
Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.btcguild.com. The OCSP response contains out-of-date information. (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_old_response)

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

This occurs in Firefox, on two different machines on two different internet connections.  I can generally get in if I try again later.  Has anyone else had this?

That's an SSL related error, which is served up by Cloudflare.  Considering you're the only person reporting it, I really can't say why you're seeing it at all.  What region are you connecting from?

UK (Yorkshire)

I accessed the site successfully soon after reporting the error, and it's been fine since.  Just like yesterday, in fact.

Firefox checks the OSCP data at certificate authorities as a default.  (This way you won't get a "secure" connection if the SSL certificate(s) for the server you are trying to access has been revoked.)  Other browsers are less paranoid when checking certificates and so don't report this error.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_Certificate_Status_Protocol

If the users aren't doing something important and aren't worried about a man in the middle attack then they can bypass this error.  Firefox gives it if the OSCP server is (temporarily) unreachable of if it doesn't have data for a new certificate.  Webmasters can avoid these errors by requesting certificates and holding the newly received certificates for an hour or so before installing them in their servers.

The PPNLS Shift history is missing closed shifts (at least in my browser):

It doesn't effect payouts but thought I'd mention it.

I'm not seeing that error, it may be related to an error loading within the browser on your end.

We are talking about 2 different things.  I’m looking at my smart meter and seeing the juice guzzle with very little return at the moment.

Weird. I'm not seeing the gaps in shift id numbers. All shifts are there.
