I created some new images over the past few days. I've also updated the OctoCoin banners/buttons download page where it looks better. View OctoImages LinkHere are a few samples of what I've been working on: The download link for Octotips is also on the page, as well as the Vote 888 video. I've had a sinus infection for the past few days... What better to do, when you're under the weather, than to sit around and create OctoImages and write code... Great!

I would like to take a serious survey please, how many in our community are heath conscious? How many people enjoy Jerky, how many people are natural organic foods lovers. Thanks for anyone who shares

Looks like there were some updates running on the server backend and it caused the displayed data to be skewed or it could have been a caching problem.

Excited about everything including the jerky! I will likely be placing an order this evening. I was brainstorming last night and I think we need to push the "get out the vote" campaign a bit harder. I know Bittrex is a serviceable exchange but if the devs have plans for MintPal we should get this thing up on MintPal. This seems to be the first coin I've ever seen that isn't aggressively pushing to get on every possible exchange and that's probably a good thing but it would be nice to have a place we could go buy Octos without driving up the price so quickly. If I want to place a bitcoin order it never gets filled because there aren't enough people selling now that the multipools have been cut out. Can't believe I'm saying it but I miss having them there to keep a steady flow of cheap coins coming in. Now the price just rises higher and higher. I'm not saying MintPal is the solution but at least we will have volume and a better idea of the true market value. I will do my part but perhaps more Reddit activity, Twitter and whatnot. We need the devs to get that new tipbot online because fatguy was going to town on that thing. We have a great coin with great devs and a great community but we're only trading at one real exchange even after 3 1/2 months. It's pretty unheard of. The voting system has ruined altcoin exchanges because it encourages scammy coins. The exchanges no longer use their discretion when choosing coins so the garbage rises to the top of the list and gets added while good coins like Monocle and OctoCoin take forever. We're doing great on the votes but we're only halfway there. It seems crazy to buy votes when we all know it will be listed eventually. It wouldn't make financial sense to buy votes at the current price. Basically 1 vote costs 60 cents! So voting 10 times per day is like a $6 contribution! I love the "Vote 888" signs and banners and stuff. Even if it isn't a huge priority for the devs I think we need to get this thing on MintPal soon. More exposure and also there are people that want to sell without crashing the price I'm sure too. Power bills don't stop coming in! There is a ton of hash that has been put into OctoCoin. Since OctoCoin launched I don't think any other coin has had this much total hash thrown into it. Anybody have some good ideas on where to start?

1) whoever has that obscenely high octo sell order on bittrex, can you pull it please? it skews badly if you look at the data. shows that there's 75% BTC sell orders to 25% buy orders, this doesn't look good. also, if you click on the chart, it's entirely red, you can't even see a single buy order (green) cause they're blocked by this ridiculous sell order. i know we're all excited for 1 888 = $1,000 but let's try and get a grip.
2) coinmine.pw exploits coins when they can using code which looks for bonus blocks. this is why we had to hardfork, was specifically because of this pool. this is bad for the whole crypto scene, and only hurts coins. i'll keep my hashes at one of the many legit, reputable pools on the first post of this thread. i try not to reward people/products/services who purposefully take advantage of others, if only for pragmatic reasons, in that i want crypto to succeed as a whole. pools like this do not help. I'd recommend fedaykin's incredibly low 0.2% fee or fusionhash's incredible <100% block find rate.
3) tell me you can ship jerky to canada, america just does jerky right, i'm already salivating.

megaman, it's good to see others wanting to push the mintpal campaign forward, but i'm not too worried. right now it's all true believers who are holding, a new exchange probably won't change that much. i think that if we can just keep ourselves in the top 15 until the services are ready, then the people who are bankrolling this coin can buy up the rest of the votes required, then we can have a focused launch. however that might actually be too much too fast, if there's an artificial pump, often it coincides with a big correction. people are less likely to jump in after it's already crashed from a big peak. look at blackcoin, it was an unintended pump, people were real excited, then after the correction it never gained the same traction.
i think that the slow steady growth scenario is better, maybe accentuated with occational spurts of good news and service releases. i'm at least confident that the team knows their schedule, and have the timing for all of these events worked out, at least in general terms, not fixed dates.
