Did someone really just sell 450k?  more to the point... somebody just bought 420k. I'm jealous After months of watching the market, day and night, waiting for a huge block to come up... The one morning I decide to sleep in, someone dumps 450K... Those would have looked nice in my collection.  I'm sure they'll be in good hands...  hahhahahahah great news,congrats GWC |

I guess it's back to Red Bull and coffee, chased by Code Red Mountain Dew, until I find someone offering another block like that.  |

I knew that was shell. With the bitcoin price jumping up last night and every alt other than octo dropping I figured somebody would feed him. So crazy. Well hopefully the sellers made a good profit and I know shell will be happy as well.

Do you guys have an agreement on what price not to sell under? Seems like the big hands in Octocoin is gonna hold for a long time. I'm glad if that is true. Some "whales" just dump their holdings to soon, just because they get bored, and the coin suffers.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I don't have an agreement with anybody on what price to sell at. I will NOT be dumping Octocoin. I haven't sold a single coin yet, and I don't plan on selling any for quite some time. |

If OctoCoin ends up getting as big as I think it will... I have about 75K sitting in Cryptorush right now. You can check your balance on their site right now. They have been tweeting somewhat recently too, hopefully that means they will be up and running sometime soon. |

There is no agreement as to when to sell, that I am aware of. There are varying opinions on to what the market cap potential of this coin may be. Through the projections, voiced by some, on here; I can approximate at what price they might decide to sell. Different people have different thresholds for risk and/or profit. There may be a few "conspiring" on when to sell, but I think (on OctoCoin, at least) they are in the minority. This is good, as the price cannot be manipulated (too much) by any one holder. There are too many large investors for one person to really screw the market and, if they tried, there are plenty of investors ready to absorb whatever they decide to dump. @Stonerboy - I saw that 100K block. Not quite ready to buy that high (yet). I'll just keep plugging away with my buy orders and snagging the low-hanging fruit when the price is down. If I could pick up some more 30 Mh/s rentals for the price I did over the weekend, I would be happy to mine them. Mined a few hundred more than I could have bought for the same amount, so all is very good. |

I know I've brought it up before but there was a time when shellbunner and I were the only people mining Megacoin for almost a solid week. I believe it was shortly after blocks dropped to 125 MEC/block (pre-KGW). It was crazy when MEC moved past $2/ea and I was logging into old pools to find I still had thousands of MEC in there I had just forgotten about. November was a good month for me...

Yea November could have been a very good month for me.....but I waited WAYYYYYYYYYY too long to sell. Barely made any money on Megacoin. But it has funded a few projects of mine, so I'm still happy. I'm HEAVILY invested in Octocoin, and I have no doubt it's going to be fun to watch it grow. I've reached my goal for how many I wanted to accumulate, so I'm just going to sit on the sidelines and mostly stay out of the market. |

I haven't sold a single coin yet, and I don't plan on selling any for quite some time. ditto... apart from the last bit... I have sold plenty, but bought it all back on dips. |

Cryptorush tweeted something a while back, the implication was that everything had gone but I was never sure if it referred to everything or just to BTC and the other currencies they stole;  Sounds promising if you can log in and see old balances still. I can't see anybody ever doing anything there after a re-launch other than drawing out everything they can ASAP! |
