I think the last T20 match between these two teams was competitive. Although Pakistan scored 172 runs but remember West Indies also chased well and ended up in 163 runs. They lost only by 9 runs and it is not a big margin. We cannot say that Pakistan will white wash the series. I think WI will play well in the 3rd T20 and the series may end up 2-1.

Pakistan is in really good T20 form since they started there T20 WC campaign this year. Its not easy for this new WI side to compete with such a strong team. Still there performance in 2nd T20 is very encouraging which will boast there moral for the final T20 and the ODI series coming up next. WI main aim right now will be to avoid white wash.

The West Indies lost by just 9 runs. Although they seem to have played well. But I would say their performance was bad enough. The 172-run target is not a big target on such a batting pitch. If the West Indies' top order players had performed with some responsibility, the West Indies would have been able to win this match.

Yes atleast they went close to the target ans gave some bit of a fight to Pakistan. In the 1st twenty 20 they were outplayed by pakistan but they improved their performance in the second t20 match even if they lose.
If their top order batsman contribute in thr third t20 match then they might win and prevent the whitewash .

Enjoyed the Big Bash League, Melboune Stars vs Sydney Six match. I had the opportunity to enjoy a remarkable innings of 103 off 57 balls by Maxwell. Even then Melbourne has been defeated. Sydney opener Josh Philliph played a required innings of 99 off 61 balls. Sydney has won only because of this extraordinary batting.

Almost the whole team is pretty new in this series. But, out of these new players, there should be a few who would perform in this series and will cement their name in the national team. I do not see that happening in this series as most of us are predicting a complete whitewash by the Pakistani side. That means this is an issue of the Windies board who have not selected good players for this series or they do not have any talent left.

Some might but Windies cricket board would ignore them when their big guns make comeback for the ICC tournaments, like they usually do. As of now couple of their premier players playing in the BBL , some took break from this series and make things worse 3-4 players got tested covid positive. This T-20 series is done n dusted but let's hope for good contest in ODI series.

First match was completely one-sided and Pakistan was in command from start but in second match West Indies done some better work and restrict Pakistan for 172 after this their batting was also having depth as King, Pooran and Ramiro done better job.

Once many peoples were feeling they will win but some good bowling and feeling from Pakistan give them set back specially Asif Ali Catch was turning point for them and then Shaheen Afridi's 3 wickets in very important overturn tables in Pakistan favour now they already won another series even West Indies are very weak but still win is win hopefully we will have some better fight from West Indies in ODI series.

This is not all about IPL and their form in this short format currently West Indies is playing without many players few having disputes with their board, so they are enjoying in different leagues and few are injured like Pollard is injured, and few players tested positive for covid19 after arrival in Pakistan hopefully they will be having some better selection in ODI series.

Bravo and Gayle is already having Retirement from International cricket just because of this now selection committee is looking for some newly players for future but still I am having no good and positive movement into West Indies cricket because now they completely fail to have some good and quality players which is big concern for them in domestic set up.

It is time that the West Indies Cricket board start looking for new players, Gayle and Bravo era is long gone and they might perform once in a blue moon but they are well past their prime and they need to find players who could fill their shoes even though it is impossible to find someone that could replace their great players but they need to groom young talents.

There are quality young players like Evin Lewis, Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran emerging within West Indies. They have been able to fill the vacuum that was created by retiring senior players like Bravo and Gayle. However, I am not sure whether the WICB is able to properly manage these players. Unlike the other national cricket teams, West Indies represent a loose conglomerate of a dozen or so independent nations, and there are always issues with nepotism and selection. These issues surface once in a while and bring down the morale of these players.

Can ICC allow CWI to send more players as replacement of these covid infected players? is there any such policy in place where new players can replace squad that is on tour. I think CWI has no players of international level to replace these covid infected players.

Windies is under rebuilding phase and its good to see there batting line finally clicked. Pakistan opening pair Rizwan and   Babar are having best phase of there career. Remember they both chased target of 151 against India on 24 Oct 2021. WI finally picked up a wicket, Pakistan still in comfortable position as they need 39 runs on 25 balls.

A very sad ending of WI tour to Pakistan. They lost all 3 T20s and ODI series postponed till Jun 2022 due to too many WI players infected with covid19. WI. In last T20, WI batsman had done an awesome job but there bowlers fail to take advantage of such huge target of 207. Muhammad Rizwan had a fantastic series as he scored 203 runs in 3 T20s.

West Indies could not win today's match. Even after collecting 206 runs, they have been defeated. Pakistan scored 208 runs in just 18.5 overs. Mohammad Rizwan scored 87 and Babar Azam 79 runs. After a long time I saw a good innings from Babar azam. However, Pakistan has won all the matches of the T20 series. I hope they win all the matches of the ODI series.

West Indies always represented a loose conglomerate of dozens of independent nations even when they were dominating world Cricket during the 1970 and 1980. The level of talent was reduced considerably, they had some great players and the captain can be credited for finding those great players. Not sure about the current situation or the nepotism while selecting rather than skills.

West Indies played well and had posted a good total of 207 runs and still Pakistan did not allow them to win especially Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam their main pillars of batting .
