You got it so right. New teams joining cricket eco system are mostly composed of players from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. UAE is 100% made of expats and that deny entry of teams that are made entirely of native players like Nepal and PNG.
ICC-T20 events are unpredictable, sometimes they are held after 4 years and sometimes every year.

I am afraid that very soon we will be left with teams that are comprised only of imported players, as cricket is vanishing from the smaller nations. Look at countries such as Kenya and Canada. Where are they now? Kenya had a number of native players, such as Steve Tikolo, Thomas Odoyo and Maurice Odumbe (I'm sure that the younger generation may not know them). Canada also had a few natives, such as John Davison and Ian Billcliff. But the import power of teams like UAE and Oman prevailed over them unfortunately.

There is no proper funding which is the reason for the vanishing of Kenyan cricket. Scenario with Canada is different and there is nothing much with the imported players. With UAE and Oman the teams were formed by players from India and other countries. This has happened as more people move for work life. Even now if good funding is provided Kenya will come back.

With Canada young players weren't added to the team. With the regular old players the team keeps playing. Maybe some updates need to be done. In recent years the interest on cricket have increased among the Canadians.

Bangladesh's domestic league is completely fixed. And the Bangladesh Board is well aware of this. This is now an open secret. However, Bangladesh Cricket Board has not taken any necessary steps to stop the fixing. Due to this fixing, many young talented players lost interest in cricket. The careers of many talented players are ruined. First of all the board officials have to be honest. Then we have to try to solve the internal problems.

Bangladesh still doesn't have a proper domestic setup. It is still dominated by clubs within the capital city of Dhaka. Teams outside Dhaka fail to get any recognition. And when the setup is dominated by a few private clubs, it can be expected that at least some form of corruption and nepotism will be there. More than two decades have passed since Bangladesh got the test status. Till now, they (BCB) have failed to transform to a region-based domestic league, by replacing the Dhaka-based structure.

Bangladesh is not a big country. So everything is centered on the capital Dhaka. So there is no big club outside Dhaka. The BCB should try to eliminate fixing from their domestic leagues. Moreover, a few days ago we saw the Bangladesh Premier League. BPL was in a very bad position. Until the mindset of the Bangladesh Board officials changes, we will not see any improvement in the Bangladesh team.

Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in terms of population. But it’s true that mostly big club in the capital of Dhaka than Chittagong. Yeah, there are some problems in BCB but i don’t agreed which thing you mentioned last BPL was happened in very bad position. And i see a lot of controversy in the domestic cricket, as like match fixing or something like that.

Actually JSRAW explained why he was picked and that is mainly due to his performance in the domestic level and not because of any secret deal that is going on as expected. I checked out his domestic average which is well above 55 and played over 100 first class matches and has the reputation of scoring big hundreds as per his profile when i checked.

Yes, he did well in the Ranji trophy, I'll give you that. But was he better than the other options that they had? And by other options, we are obviously talking about Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

I really don't think that he is at the same level as these two players. These two players give a lot more stability to the team in both batting and bowling which Hanuma Vihari cannot provide. But obviously, that's my opinion and opinions can differ.

We can never and shouldn't compare batsman with the bowler. Both are different skillset, yes you can make valid argument that Ashwin-Jadeja are all-rounders but even with this analogy you have to look at, if they are batting all rounder or bowling all rounder (again its completely 2 different skills) For example Ben Stoke/Shakib are batting all rounder and Ashwin/Jaddu are bowling all rounder. Vihari on the other hand pure batsman who knows how to ball off spin, even our Vadapav Rohit and Koach can also bowl, so Vihari comparison with any bowler or all rounders doesn't make sense, hope this make sense?

If you want to judge Vihari then compare with him Pujara-Rahane-Iyer etc. IMHO his comparison should be with Pujara if we are going with like to like technique/mindset.

On nepotism issue.. Don't confuse favoritism with nepotism. There is virtually zero nepotism when selecting Indian team, yes on state level it exits (not much) but not in national level. Just look at some big names Rohan Gavaskar, Stuart Binny, Arjun tendulkar, you would understand everything.

But, in my personal opinion, this player lacks a certain 'hunger'. Like you know, you can look at a player and say that he has that special something, Hanuma Vihari is not that player. And it is clear, in the Indian team he doesn't fit perfectly, I am talking about the position that he wants to play in and the position the Indian team needs him to play. But it's probably just me, not everyone thinks like this!!

If I am not wrong then I am feeling things same happening like we have in Zimbabwe but with some difference that there were few issues about black and white and here mostly BCB want to control everything and not giving Sr Members their right and respect which is very important for every player in his native country so just because of this we are not able to watch good and consistent cricket from them even sometime they are giving big shocks to world like we have recently in New Zealand and now South Africa, but they need to be some better and positive because both times after having wins they lost very badly in next matches which is big concern for them, they need to be some better and consistent for having some better results.

If I am not wrong then I am feeling things same happening like we have in Zimbabwe but with some difference that there were few issues about black and white and here mostly BCB want to control everything and not giving Sr Members their right and respect which is very important for every player in his native country so just because of this we are not able to watch good and consistent cricket from them even sometime they are giving big shocks to world like we have recently in New Zealand and now South Africa, but they need to be some better and positive because both times after having wins they lost very badly in next matches which is big concern for them, they need to be some better and consistent for having some better results.

They showed a lot of promise during the group stages, but lost the semi-finals in an unfortunate manner. They have another chance in a few months from now, when the Australian edition of the world cup starts by October 2022. But the pitch conditions are going to be much different when compared to what they had last time (in the UAE and Oman), and that is going to be a challenge for the sub-continent teams.

When it comes to T20, Pakistan are too good in that format. The real champion is the one who perfom in every condition not just on home ground. The semi final between Pakistan and Australia was very entertaining and they both are hot favorite for this world cup also. Just my personal opinion.

Yes, I actually. I think coming at number 3 might help him. But, then again at number 3, he will have to face a lot of really good bowling from the other teams. And he will succeed only if he is up for it.
It's also a good point that in this era of fast-paced cricket, it's hard for a test player to catch people's eye.

But, I'm sure if he can prove himself and perform consistently, he will be a great asset for the Indian team.

Yes beyond any doubt and argument, IPL is biggest cricketing event in terms of revenue generation and entertainment. World top players are always part of IPL edition. This year Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are two new teams becoming part of IPL, now there will be total 10 teams. Let's see whether CSK can retain there title or not.

I think even though that pitch condition is going to be different and the other subcontinent team may face big challenges, Pakistan is going to find it better than the other subcontinent teams. Because they have a good bowling lineup and the batting is also doing quite good with Babar Azam being one of the best in the business.

If there is any team from the subcontinent who will do better in overseas conditions at the moment I think it is Pakistan right now. And we have seen previously that India is the one from the subcontinent to have good performance in overseas countries but I think right now Pakistan is better than India.

It's amazing start and then have some good cricket throughout group stage and suddenly down and out against Australia is very painful but still good because now they have some confidence after beating India in special way but next time they need to work on Australia as well.

Because, they are also having something pressure on them with their style and super performance in last few years after very long time now they are playing against each other which is good but still it needs more good performance hopefully we will have some good and entertaining matches in Australia when these all teams will fight again for next T20 world cup. In Australia, we can expect some good dominance from SENA countries because they are favorable for them.
