India won that match very comfortably specially because of shreyas iyer and that innings by ravindra jadeja but yes you are right bowling was not that good and venkatesh iyer must be given the bowl because India are grooming him an all all rounder so he must be given more exposure in bowling as well.

I would say that Dharamsala pitch is not for bowlers as bowling of both India and SL failed in 2nd T20, SL bowling failed more miserably then India as they lost the game despite 183 runs on the board. India chased down the target in just 18 overs, making it very easy in the end.
2nd T20 is also at Dharamsala tonight, we must expect same sort of conditions. SL need to work on bowling sector if they wanna avoid whitewash.

What different can the Sri Lankan team do against the strong Indian team  
I am seeing a clean whitewash by the indian team not only in the T20 matches but also in the test matches which will start after this T20 series.
Srilanka was once a good team but their performance is consistently down like the West Indies team.

India at the moment is far better than Sri Lanka. They have better players overall and I don't see Sri Lanka beat India. Sri Lanka is in really bad form right now and even the good players in the team seem to be underperforming at the moment. Actually, if India loses against Sri Lanka, it would be a surprise for almost everyone.

Once Sri Lanka was a tough team to play and it was among the top cricket teams. Slowly with the retirement announcement from senior players the team started to go down in its performance and there is none to guide. India is quite consistent in its game, even if it experience a loss soon it started to make a win. Today India lost early wickets, but the players kept the run rate good. This has made India strong to win the match. To score 31 runs in 30 balls with 7 wickets left is easy for India.

Today we have final of PSL 2022 between Multan and Lahore. I was checking betting odds for this match and it comes out that Multan is favorite with 1.73 while Lahore rate is 2.20. Multan has only lost one game in this tournament and there batsman Rizwan and Shan are in good touch along with bowler Imran Tahir. Its 2nd PSL final for Qalandars, let's see whether they can lift the PSL trophy for the first time or Multan continue there winning steak.

I would actually like Lahore to win this time. They have impressed quite a lot in this tournament. Obviously, Multan is a really tough opponent and as they have lost only one match in this PSL I don't think that they have shown too many weaknesses that can be exploited. But I like to see teams win an uphill battle. Let's see if they have what it takes…

If Hardik fail to perform in IPL then i don't think selectors are going to consider him for selection and if by any chance he does get place in the squad then making into playing XI won't be easy task for him. I also don't like him much but i can't deny the fact that fully fit Hardik is blessing for Indian cricket. Personal feeling, bias doesn't matter to me much as long as Indian cricket is doing well.

Hardik Pandya was produced by IPL and now he has another chance to prove his worth through IPL again. But it is going to be really hard for him because the competition is far greater now.

I think overall India did not live up to the expectations of a lot of people but they won the match and at the end of the day that's what matters. But questions can be asked about their bowling and obviously the captaincy because I think Venkatesh should have been given a chance to bowl in that match.

Accidentally came across briefing Gujrat franchise and they were mentioning that they want Hardik the batter and Captain, not the all rounder hardik. Don't know what to make out of it but i do understand if any all rounder doing everything including captaincy then its freaking tough job to handle.

Not every department is going to click in every match. sometime its bowler's day, sometime its batter or sometime complete dominance by the team. Its part of the game so its fine.

183 was a good competitive score but poor fielding and lame bowling by the Srilankan side resulted in the loss. Sanju Samson was very agressive yesterday and I think he was a bit unlucky with his dismissal. He and Iyer could have easily ended the match if he was not caught behind. Jadeja is a good player and in my opinion he should not be moved up as India needs  players like him down the order. Series won by the Indian side now expecting a complete whitewash.

Even i thought it was a good total but their fielding was miserable and they leaked runs and if you are not saving runs and give away free runs then the opposition would take advantage and convert them into match winning innings and that is what happened and once the Indian batsman started gaining confidence they started to attack them.

Another match tonight and Sri Lanka won the toss and will be batting first, i wish it will be a competitive one and not a whitewash  .

Today I was very upset to see Sri Lanka batting. Opener Nissanka was dismissed for 1 off 10 balls. Liyanage has scored 9 runs off 19 balls. Players must understand that this is a T20 match. And the opponent in mighty India. It was not a Test or ODI match. I think it is a shame to collect 1 run from 10 balls in a T20 match. If Shanaka had not played well, Sri Lanka's innings would have ended within 100 today. The main reason for their performance is that they are not experienced enough.

Yes, it was Shreyas who have made the series a big win for India. Back to back performance in a much consistent and with more confidence shows his ability. I expect similar level of performance when playing abroad. The biggest thing with Indian players, used to perform well at the home ground and exact opposite scenario happens playing abroad. Sanju Samson have been getting good opportunity and he needs to make use of it. At times he looks like an IPL player who shows his ability only in IPL matches.

A very spirited win by Team India, and now they are unbeaten in their last 12 twenty/20 matches which is great from them as very good preparation for next twenty/20 world cup which is going to help in Australia just after 8 months.

After watching recent few matches now I am feeling they are taking good lessons from their past mistakes and proving their bench power is also very strong in new youngsters shape which can handle all situations Shreyas Iyer is new sensation for them in future as he is a good all-rounder who is handling things in very positive way 204 is very good score by any youngster in 3 match series with this Ishan Kishan is also having very good time now these youngsters need to give good show down in IPL for better experience.

Future Belongs to franchise cricket or quadrilateral series, this might give some breathing space to cricketers with their schedule ,talking about Indian team schedule here specially, which sucks if you look at it.

Do you really think that ICC will allow that to happen, when it comes to franchise cricket they can pick the best players available in the world and it can be more entertaining but the cricket boards will have the revenue as long as they are able to sell the broadcasting rights and that is where the major revenue is and then comes the advertising on a particular series and as long as they are getting that money they will be happy.

Agreed 100%. Future belongs to franchise cricket, and that too in the T20 format. Look at other sports like football, basketball and baseball. Leagues such as the English Premier League, MLB and NFL are much more popular when compared to the international events. Bilateral tours are unheard of in other sports and I believe that it will be good for cricket to at least cut down these tours to size. Only bilateral series that is of any interest to the worldwide audience is the Ashes, and perhaps the Gavaskar-Border trophy.

His hat-trick of fifty-plus scores and his contributions to winning causes make him an outstanding batsman. It is hoped that he will continue to perform well on overseas trips and during the T20 World Cup this year. India is in great shape for the T20 WC. Regarding Sanju Samson, I highly doubt if he will get another opportunity to play.

Indian team is play ridiculous amount of cricket throughout the year, even in pandemic. No wonder players keep getting injured.

From Indian perspective i would prefer if India playing these tournaments instead of bilateral T-20 series.

- Asia cup (Ind + Pak + Afg + Ban +SL + Singapore )
- quadrilateral or multiple nation series ( India + Aus + Eng + SA+NZ +WI)

Then after that we have IPL + ICC event every year + 3-4 test series every year.

For test format i want Relegation setup without any doubt.

PSL came to end yesterday, it was Lahore who finally lifted PSL trophy after 7 tournaments. Multan had terrific winning record throughout the tournament and everyone was saying Multan will easily win the match but it was an upset by Lahore. Lahore gave target of 180 and all runs are scored by lower order players hafeez, Brook and David Wiese.
