Sri Lanka have lost 10 consecutive T20Is played with India and this T20I will be India 11 straight win or Sri Lanka break there losing streak. Its not looking possible as SL is facing injury issues there main spinner Maheesh Theekshana and batsman Kusal Mendis are out of this series due to hamstring.

It is the Islamabad United team that needs to be blamed for this loss. They have lost the match which they should have won easily. When the target is run a ball, then why does each and every batsman need to hit a six. Asif Ali tried to finish the match early by hitting a six and got out.
Also why Wasim Jr. did not take the run when they need 8 runs in 8 balls and wasted two balls, making themselves under pressure.

Agree with you here as Azam Khan and Alex Hales done amazing job for Islamabad United, and I was feeling they are going to win this match very easily but very spirited Lahore Qalanders done great job for themselves and hold their nerves in very crucial time which helps them to win this eliminator no 2 what a match and what an end. It was entertaining to watch this eliminator. First it was Shaheen who scored runs at number 9 and now in this game its turn for David Wiese to score runs 28 runs on 8 balls with 3 sixes and one four. IU in reply lost 4 quick wickets but Azam Khan and Hales partnership of 79 runs made IU like winning the game but in the end they keep losing wickets and lost the match.

I am seeing a clean whitewash by the indian team not only in the T20 matches but also in the test matches which will start after this T20 series.
Srilanka was once a good team but their performance is consistently down like the West Indies team.

It's too early to say about whitewash, it's just second T20. Let India wins this first then we can talk about whitewash. Sri Lanka recently avoided whitewash against Australia by wining the last T20 and ending series 4-1. In this series SL are capable of winning just one or two match not the series.

These T-20 and ODI bilateral series seem kinda useless to me, most of em are goes into one sided result 4-1, 3-0 etc. Just to paint clear picture India has won their 9 consecutive t-20 match and this will 10th if they manage to win, majority of em are from bilateral series (NZ, WI etc)

I hope SL wins today otherwise 3rd match is going to be dead rubber and India will keep testing their bench strength for fun. Even if SL are not winning then at least put up some fight into it.

Ahead of their second T20I match against India, Sri Lanka brings in Binura Fernando and Danushka Gunathilaka in place of Vandersay and Liyanage. There is a great deal of desperation in the squad to come back to winning ways. Due to injuries and concussions, Hasaranga and Maheesh are not playing. It is a huge loss for Sri Lanka. In case Sri Lanka manage 160 or 170, Indian batters will have a bit of trouble getting targets because their spinners are highly skilled. Hope the team shows good performance.

If Sri Lanka is able to score a good total then it will be a good match, right now the odds are really bad as the odds for India is 1.08 which is not at all a good odds to even place a bet and i doubt whether Sri Lanka will pose any challenge to this Indian lineup. If you think Sri Lanka has a chance to upset India then the odds are really great around 6.60 .

Hasaranga

I was interested to see Hasaranga vs Indian batters battle, especially our middle order SKY, Sanju and both Iyers. They are considered good striker of spin and Hasaranga is ranking up nicely and got fair amount of trick on his sleeve.

As per my prediction Sri Lanka have batted well and have scored 183 runs. Nissanka and Gunathilaka gave the right start and at the ending it is Shanaka who helped the team reach the required score. Shanaka should've got few mor balls to make his fifty. This looks like a difficult score for India, let's wait for the performance from India.

Once Sri Lanka was a tough team to play and it was among the top cricket teams. Slowly with the retirement announcement from senior players the team started to go down in its performance and there is none to guide. India is quite consistent in its game, even if it experience a loss soon it started to make a win. Today India lost early wickets, but the players kept the run rate good. This has made India strong to win the match. To score 31 runs in 30 balls with 7 wickets left is easy for India.
