Tony Ferguson is a cat man with 9 lives Cheesy I think they should give Ngannou as a next Ferguson opponent. Tony will sign the contract anyway since he has accepted Li, and he is from weight division Cheesy
But what UFC actually do, is creating Donald Cerrone out of Tony Ferguson. Remember how Donald could not find an good and easy fight to retire, and fight everyone? Same will happen to Tony. They started to give him opponents from bottom of the top, but they will beat good old Tony anyway.

He may also end his career like Cerrone. Both are warriors during their prime. Sad to see them fade with losing streak. It will at lease make them feel good if they are going to be in the UFC hall of fame. Not sure if that will happen though.

Good to see familair names in main card, Holland and Walker are some of the dudes I like watching.

There was a time when Tony Ferguson was a great fighter, but now he is not the same fighter he used to be. He got rocked in some fights. But it is true that he possessed a great chin. No matter how good a fighter is, if he does not have a strong chin, he will not be able to go so far in his career. There was something really special about Tony Ferguson's chin. The only problem was that he got severely beaten in some of the fights. The problem is that he will never be able to get his opponents because he has such high standards that if he gets easier opponents there will not be much revenue for the UFC as a result. I agree with you and I also think that he will end up just like Donald cowboy Cerrone in the end Tongue.

Big
Gane deserved the win, I'm not going to dispute that. However, many of us probably thought Gane was going to outclass Tai more than he did. That was a close fight. The only difference maker for me was the jab by Gane which was superb, but the real game changer was those front kicks to the body. Tai got hurt maybe five or six times with those, and as soon as that happened, he was dropping the hands. It was quite obvious for everyone watching he wasn't going to be able to continue to take those, and Gane knew it too.
I think main advantage for Gane in this fight was his legs as a weapon, he punched Tai in stomach and liver so many times that his body had to shut off in the end.
He is now calling out Jon Jones for his comeback fight, and I would watch that fight for sure, but he needs to improve a lot and fix mistakes he made.
Tai is great KO fighter, he can sure eat a lot of punches and his fights are always fun to watch, but I don't think he is champion material.

Why are they doing Tony Ferguson like that?  Cheesy  How many tough dudes did they give him since Gaethje?  On top of my head they gave him Oliviera, Dariush, Chandler and now Li..?  And he keeps signing all the contracts.  The guy must have a death wish or something.  Lmao.
Maybe they want him out of UFC.
He is 38 years old and he lost four fights in a row, losing one more could mean end of his contract.

Do you know that all this people have a weaken point were they target their opponents, and sometimes if you don't know the exact place were you know that is the weak point of your opponent during fight even though you bring most strongest fighter the person who first and notice the point will win fight,  i will like to watch their fight, but the problem i have is that i don't know when they schedule the fight.

Chimaev vs Nate fight is going to be like that - Nate will take a beating, but will throw a good clean combination (which wont be enough to win the fight). This will be simular to a fight with Edwards, took beating but everyone remember how he dazed Edwards and basically stole the crowd. Nate will lose, but will show a good fight and will be a “winner”.

Nate Diaz has so many fans that you can hear them cheering for him, But even though he has many fans the level of people believing that Chimaev will win is huge, Stake odds are 1.08 for Chimaev while 9.20 for Diaz, If Nate Diaz wins and if you bet around 0.001 BTC for him you can gain an estimated value of 0.0082 BTC on Stake that will be $161.98 USD but for Chimaev that 0.001 BTC you can only gain an estimated price of 0.00008 BTC converted to USD $1.58 not a profitable gain unless you are a whale and can put a ton of money for Chimaev, for certain Nate Diaz will still be a winner in the eyes of his fans but Khamzat Chimaev will surely come out to this unscathed

Gane deserved the win, I'm not going to dispute that. However, many of us probably thought Gane was going to outclass Tai more than he did. That was a close fight. It was quite obvious for everyone watching he wasn't going to be able to continue to take those, and Gane knew it too.

So, it was the beginning of the end from that point onwards, but Tai still hurt Gane, and even if you take out that overhand, he was touching Gane much more than I thought going into the fight. The thing is, I don't think either of these fighters will win against Ngannou, especially since there's holes in both mens game.

I will not take out that Right Overhand by Tuivasa it surely has strength in it and Gane also was surprised, that he was knockdown by that, he surely sees that overhand but there is no time avoiding it, I really think there is also an opening to Francis Ngannou aswell and many are not exposing I believe no fighter has a perfect game, skill, and technique, there will always be a hole in them, and pretty much I really don't know what happens in the 1st round Gane was really caught off guard, but eventually comes back and really know his openings for Tuivasa, I really respect what you think but for me, Gane can take on Ngannou again, and I like to see it now that Francis Ngannou is at 100%,

Speaking about Chimaev. There is a new hype in the media about Chimaev vs Costa conflict. You can take a look on it @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOzZi0iliPI.

The story behind it - in recent interviews, Costa called Chimaev as a "fake gangster". Chimaev asked Costa why he even talk about him? Did he wanna have a fight? Costa agreed, but refused to go down the stairs for a fight.

What do you think about it? An artificial conflict for future fight? Just two guys being "I am the best here" ? Costa got scared of Chimaev? Crazy Chimaev wants to brawl in few days before fight under UFC contract? Cheesy

I’m already looking forward to the Diaz fight this weekend. It’s going to be his last fight in the UFC and I think after this he moves on to chasing the money fights. I suspect he’ll be Jake Paul’s next opponent as that’s probably his best chance at a nice payday. I don’t see him winning this weekend though. Dana definitely rolled out the killer to put him on the floor for his final fight.

That was a crazy altercation between the two Paulo Costa was just hyping this in my opinion just like he did with the Israel Adesanya fight, but regarding this Khamzat Chimaev is really serious about getting a brawl that is one crazy dude, in my opinion, a Welterweight fighter versus a Light Heavyweight fighter that will be epic on who's gonna win, imagine Paulo Costa has the weight advantage while Chimaev can be intimidating if UFC can make a special fight on fighters that are in different divisions that would be epic at the same time could cause a ruckus on some occasions, just like on Illia Topuria altercation against Paddy Pimblett a Bantamweight versus a Featherweight I wish Dana White can make a special fight for fighters that wants to settle their score inside the ring that would be hype up and at the same time many fans will truly want that, for me, I want to see that fights,

He really pulled a really crazy killer that wants to fight even a Light Heavyweight fighter I really wish Nate Diaz success when he leaves the UFC, I am not a fan of Diaz but I think he is a great dude that wants the money when he fights, a Jake Paul could be a good fight aswell even though he losses to Paul he can still rack a lot of money from it, but I doubt if he's not going to pull a crazy stunt on that fight aswell, but getting him in the bare-knuckle fight is pretty much what he likes so let the dude do it, but still great support in everything that he done,

I started googling for catchweight description and found this:

Another example was at UFC 99 when Wanderlei Silva fought Rich Franklin at a catchweight bout of 195 pounds. Silva typically fought at the Light Heavyweight weight class of 205 pounds, while Franklin fought at the Middleweight weight class of 185 pounds. They agreed on a catchweight bout, and both men weighed in at 194 for the fight.

This is my sick imagination, but Khamzat could easily sign a contract to fight Costa, as he is ready to step in against anyone. I like that you have mentioned welterweight and light heavyweight Cheesy I like that I am not the only one who thinks that Costa is from different weight division than he is currently in. Khamzat is tall and quite skinny for welterweight. I think it wont be a problem for him to gain some extra pounds to punish Costa for trashtalk. But, I cant say that Chimaev could be an obvious fighter in that fight. Costa lands very heavy strikes, just like Burns. If Burns was enough to shake Chimaev and dispel the myth of Chimaev immortality, then Costa has all the chances to win Chimaev.

Cheesy

Dehydrating is a common cheat they do in UFC which they sure could always give Costa vs Chimaev a go. All it need is just Dana nodding for it. Costa should just keep hyping this before his chance to impress his fans die.

Doesn't matter if Chimaev claim to be a gangster or not, just rumble in the cage.

He really pulled a really crazy killer that wants to fight even a Light Heavyweight fighter I really wish Nate Diaz success when he leaves the UFC, I am not a fan of Diaz but I think he is a great dude that wants the money when he fights, a Jake Paul could be a good fight aswell even though he losses to Paul he can still rack a lot of money from it, but I doubt if he's not going to pull a crazy stunt on that fight aswell, but getting him in the bare-knuckle fight is pretty much what he likes so let the dude do it, but still great support in everything that he done,
I'm not a Nate Diaz fan either, but he needs to make money and I support that. I'm very excited for this week, I'm very curious about what he will do against Khamzat. Dana played the cards in her hand very well. Nate Diaz is also happy about it because he's the type to make money again and not avoid fighting anyone, so he deserves to make money. I doubt if there will be an exhibition match with Jake Paul, but if it does, it will be a fun show for me. In such a show, whether Nate wins or loses, he will receive the award that will reach his goal.

It's just Costa being Costa to remain relevant and have everybody talk about him.  Before McGregor there wasn't really much bs going on in the UFC.  McGregor changed how the game is played and paved the way to making it all one big show to sell fights.  He made a lot of money doing it...  Now a lot of UFC fighters are doing it.  But yeah, Costa is a funny guy.

Anyway, match ups to watch for 279 are Hakeem Dawodu vs Julian Erosa and Kevin Hollan vs Daniel Rodriguez.

And I'm dropping this right here...  To hype you guys up.  Grin

Noooo. Nate is actually looking forward for his fight with Jake after his contract with UFC. And Jake also will not stop looking to fight someone from MMA. I think its not a rumor anymore that he is going to be fighting with Anderson Silva next month.

Nate looking forward to Jake fight, means he may just be sure to lose against Hamzat. But as being Nate, he'll pull his all. If it won't end in the first round, it will be bloody.

It's just Costa being Costa

I feel like language barrier was involved in their altercation, as we know Costa being hilarious in English. Here is a funny vid of Costa being Costa - Paulo Costa keeps messaging the wrong people. I know this is fake, but that is so much about Costa.

How about that ? Cheesy There is a whole Costa compilation on reddit. Being popular aint easy Cheesy

It's worth a punt on Diaz as you never know with him but the odds on Skybet are 11/2 which I wouldn't bother with. Both him and Chiamev are machines and don't give up and Diaz is like a Terminator so I think he will keep getting up and walking on into a war even if he's getting battered. I think Chiamav will win, but I could also see this going this distance as well. I would like to see an upset though. Will be interesting if Diaz does win and where that leaves him with the UFC. I'd still like to see the trilogy with McGregor some day. Connor is running out of options without taking on someone who is just going to annihilate him like Chiamev.

Jake needs to fight a boxer otherwise fans will forever be crying about it, especially as it looks like his next opponent is going to be Anderson Silva. Silva is a worthy opponent but he's getting on a bit now. I'm hoping Jake just gets that Tommy Fury fight sorted which seems his best bet without biting off more than he can chew.

Now he is saying trilogy fight against Conor McGregor is certain to happen, so I am not sure what he is thinking about.
He is starting his own fighting promotion Real Fight Inc and he plans to continue fighting in future.
I am sure he is going to use this fight 100% and his face will be fully covered with blood.

McGregor changed how the game is played and paved the way to making it all one big show to sell fights.  He made a lot of money doing it...  Now a lot of UFC fighters are doing it.
He made money but he lost his mind along the way, and now he don't have any real passion for fighting.
Khabib put him in his place and humbled him forever Smiley

No chance this fight is going to distance in my opinion, it's going to be Chimaev win by submission.
Diaz can't be a machine when he didn't fight in UFC for years, Dana kept him on bench.

WOW! I never thought that it could be possible, and well Paolo Costa is originally in the Middleweight division alongside Israel Adesanya but because of his missed weigh-in against Marvin Vettori and he is heavier than a Middleweight the fight was shifted to the Light Heavyweight so he is technically a Light Heavyweight fighter now,

On that note, Gilbert Burns looks more like a Middleweight than a Welterweight but maybe his bodybuild also can compete with the Light Heavy aswell, so if Khamzat Chimaev withstands Burns, for me he can likely eat Costa Alive like  said Chimaev is one crazy dude, he would do anything just to fight anyone he wants,

Well, an upset is only possible if the fight would not result in the ground, if Khamzat Chimaev decided to bring the fight to the ground then likely this may end up sooner, but knowing Chimaev he also wants to brawl just like he did with the Gilbert Burns fight, and Nick Diaz even though he is bloodied and brutally wounded he will surely get back up and will still fight this could also intimidate some of his opponents that is why it is going the distance, but for Chimaev he is known for the man with no fear, and Nate Diaz intimidation will not going to work against Chimaev,

Isnt Nate good at BJJ ? Wikipedia says he has a cool black belt in it. Also most of his wins were made by submission. And he was only one loss via submission in early stages of his career. I dont think that Chimaev is going to win by submission, but he will use his wrestling skills to turn this fight to the ground and win by ground and pound. I think it is going to be ref stoppage after a series of strikes on the ground or doctor stoppage.

Submission is very likely because this is Chimaev. Odds will be more profitable by submission.

Even if the fight will be bloody and slimey for Chimaev, he will bring this fight to the ground whenever he gets an opportunity and submit Nate to show his dominance. I don't think Nate can ever defend a TD. Its a helicopter dance.
