The reason the odds are so far apart in my opinion would be that Usman could potentially beat Edwards both on the feet, and the ground. We know for absolute sure that Usman has the ground advantage, and wrestling is a whole different ball game to striking. I've seen poor strikers out striker a better striker, but I've never really seen a poor wrestler out wrestler a good wrestler. So, while I do agree the odds are a little far apart, I do think it'll be a win for Usman in some capacity.

I'd put a decision win on Usman for the maximum benefit, but I can see a finish in this fight for both fighters. Probably best to keep it off your accumulator if you're going for Usman to win.

Once again, odds on the main event fight are not fair towards the underdog. Edwards is on a series of victories, his previous fight against Usman ended with a decision, and bookies give 4 on Edwards, consider he is rank2 in division. Edwards has a hard chin, never been knockout (so Usmans improvement in boxing wont be a real advantage, taking into consideration that he is a wrestler), similar to Usman has a tank to run full distance. I think the odds must be close to Usman vs Covington, 2-2.5 for Edwards, but not ~ 4...
Yeah, seems not fair for those who are urged to bet for Usman with a better profit than 1.30. The risk factor looks low but it doesn't mean Edwards could not turn this around with his high endurance especially if it ends with a decision.
My eyes are rather looking at the Aldo vs Dvalishvili fight as the odds are looking pretty good.
2.05 for Aldo being the underdog which is more inviting.  Cheesy
Dvalishvili has 7-win streaks and Aldo has 3-win streaks. Sounds fair.

That a good fight either. But again, why Aljo is an underdog ? Because Dvalishvili has a greater win streak ? That is absurd. Due to Aldo's age? They have only 4 year difference. And Aldos opponents in that 3-win streak are much experienced than 7 Dvalishvili opponents (non of them are from current top15). I think this fight is going to be very close. It will be main experience of Aldo vs Aldo's ability to hold strikes. I think Aldo is going to win that fight by UD.

Results on the Dana White Contender Series, Week 4

Thomas Paull VS Esteban Ribovics ROUND 1 KO/TKO - WIN

With this match it was a round 1 win Dana White is really please especially with Esteban Rivovics and Claudio Ribeiro aswell, out of the 5 fights the 2 fights is the more entertaining for Dana White, because of that Welcome to the UFC Ribovics,

Claudio Ribeiro VS Iván Valenzuela ROUND 1 KO/TKO - WIN

Claudio Ribeiro has shown that he is dominant with a 25-second win over Valenzuela and because of that he deserves a contract Ribeiro really has proven his worth to the UFC that was an awesome win, you can see that Dana White is please,

Jack Cartwright VS Jose Johnson ROUND 3 DECISION - LOST

This is the 2nd try he tried the Contender series, Jose Johnson is the underdog so Dana will surely give him a chance in showing what he is really made of, I think out of the five contender series Jose Johnson got his UFC contract because of pity, but still welcome to the UFC,

Hailey Cowan VS Cláudia Leite ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Even though Dana White was not that impressed with Hailey Cowan but she surely gives her all, in the fight so Uncle Dana will give her a shot so Welcome to the UFC Hailey Cowan,

Nazim Sadykhov VS Ahmad Suhail Hassanzada ROUND 3 KO/TKO - LOST

Great performance for Nazim Sadykhov and because of that Welcome to the UFC, he definitely got a heart in recovering from that fight, it was really a well-deserved fight so Uncle Dana wants to witness more,

Usman still is the best on the division. he beat different kind of MMA fighters of same caliber and he standout among them. he still is going to win this rematch. But it could be different if he is to fight with Chimaev. the odds may be very close which will be a bit of a risk for White's boy toy.

Btw guys, did you follow Leon Edwards career? I mean we all know him, but can someone recall some big wins in his career? I clearly remember he was owned by Masvidal during his interview (the "three piece and a soda" accident). And his fight against Diaz, when Leon was dominating whole fight, but in the end 1-2 combo and Diaz stole the audience (but now the victory). However he is top2. Know why he is so little known or has been going to a title fight so long? Because he does not do trash talk. UFC dont like that kind of guys. Even when Edwards is on a series of victories, title fights got Masvidal, Covington. They are selling fights better.

Leon Edwards only have better win streak record, he didn't fought many good fighters except Diaz, Rafael Dos Anjos and Belal Muhammad. I'd say he's overrated by UFC since he can become top 2, he should be at top 4 or 5 IMO. Maybe after Covington lost against Usman, there's will be a scheduled fight between Edwards vs Usman since Edwards ever lost against Usman on 2015.

I don't like a fighter who only making good record but didn't want to become a challenger to collect a belt.

Be careful now...  Leon Edward doesn't really have an iron cast chin.  Remember that Nate Diaz wobbled him in the fifth round and could have finished him if Diaz wasn't goofing around.  I'm not saying Edward's doesn't have a chance, he does but it's not likely.  What Edwards should do is start fast and get to Usman's chin like Burns did.

Here's the 'Countdown' vid.  These are always good to watch before PPV events.  It adds to the hype and makes you feel excited for the event.

Well he did made a good record in surviving on top and beat names. He does have it, he just didnt make it spectacularly by grabbing attention to selling himself like Connor.

Comparing their skills with Usman, Edwards is just not someone who could KO Usman. He did survive against Usman's wrestling in the first fight, Dana maybe sees he deserves a second chance.

I remember that fight. Edwards was destroying Nate during whole fight, and like he said, the became so boring, so he has lost concentration and failed to block Nates 1-2 combo and ate it completely. But Edwards recovered quickly and there were no chance Nate would win that fight just due to that one situation.

Even if Edwards win, Usman will still be remembered as a better champ. If Edwards would be a champ, I think can be easily beaten by someone like Masvidal or Covington, someone that can go into the head and break mentally.

Well Leon Edwards is a silent dude, and I had known him because of the accidental poke on Belal Muhammad that led into a No contest fight, he is pretty much not that popular, and in my opinion, his technique and skill are just average, there are no special about him well this is just my opinion sorry to all Leon Edwards fans, but I think Kamaru Usman would win this, that is why in the weight in Kamaru Usman needs to do it himself in hyping the fight,

There is no special on Leon Edwards I can surely say that Kamaru Usman would win this for sure, Leon Edwards was all friendly and all, their 2nd stare-down was just a friendly staredown, but I think this is his chance and we can always be wrong at first glance, but Kamaru Usman is that good for a certain fighter, but just laugh it out and enjoy the moment because when Kamaru is finish with Edwards I want a Khamzat Chimaev VS Kamaru Usman fight next,

Dana White signed new UFC contracts for fve new fighters from DW Contender Series, Nazim Sadykhov, Hailey Cowan, Jose Johnson, Claudio Ribeiro and Esteban Ribovics.
This are some great prospects but someone really needs to check UFC roster but I think they have so much fighters that some of them are not going to be happy if they are not fighting.

Usman still is the best on the division. he beat different kind of MMA fighters of same caliber and he standout among them. he still is going to win this rematch. But it could be different if he is to fight with Chimaev. the odds may be very close which will be a bit of a risk for White's boy toy.
I don't think Chimaev has much for Usman, Burns really tested him, and although Burns  did test Usman somewhat, Usman sat behind the jab, and won the fight convincingly in the end. I have noticed though, that Burns does have a weakness to a good jab, so that did play a major role in that fight.

Usman has the skills to keep it standing I would think, and he beats Chimaev standing. Chimaev doesn't look like the unbeatable fighter he once was, obviously still very good, took on number two, and went to war. Although, he very nearly got knocked out a few times, I've mentioned before he basically face planted the floor, and was lucky to stay in the fight at that point.

Pretty Much if were having so much contender series now the fighter will be congested in some point and pretty sure it will be chaos, but I think Dana White is a smart one I think he already have a plan about this, because when a new fighter arrive there will be an old one that may eventually cut loose, there are surely fighters that are not given proper attention those that don't do well, I think Dana White is thinking of getting them out of the UFC, because as you know Dana he want an exciting fight a fight that would make him scream out of excitement and because he knows that fans will love it, just like his reaction in the previous fight of Jiri Prochazka VS Glover Teixeira

He knew the darkest side of life. Gangster life. I think that's why he is not much of a trash talker. He doesn't want to entertain with big mouths but rather with big punches or big kicks. That's the memorable part when he was battling Nate Diaz with how he reacted after receiving the leg kick.
But we all know the gameplay of Nate, he receives all the smacking and tries to endure it.
Usman will not be like that, he will always protect himself. Edwards though might have some revenge factor here as this is a rematch after his loss in December 2015. I will be looking forward to his takedown defense.

Btw, do you know that in upcoming Chimaev vs Nate Diaz fight, Jorge Masvidal will be a replacement in case there is something with Nate. I would love to see Chimaev fighting both of them. I see no real danger in both of them for Chimaev. Masvidal probably is going to be more convenient for Chimaev, as his ground skills are lower. Would be a good chance for UFC to get rid of Masvidal Cheesy 3 losses in a row already. Nobody remember his flying knee knockout anymore (except youtube compilations). Has legal issues.

Honestly, I can see Nate getting dominated in every area. I'm not particularly looking forward to that fight, neither from a entertainment point of view or for betting. Odds are going to be massively in favour of Chimaev, and he'll probably get the finish rather quickly. Nate doesn't have the ground skills to mitigate the attacks from Chimaev, and honestly I think he just gets over powered on the feet.

I'd rather Masvidal since I think he would cope better on the feet, but again on the ground he's nothing compared to Chimaev so the fight could be over whenever Chimaev decides too. Burns it was different, since he had a threat on the ground, and the feet, plus is generally rather underrated by the fans, and fighters.

I heard that Masvidal suddenly has legal problems, I think it will be impossible for him to fight anyone this year. But they can do a little trick, they can change the state or something. There was a small gap in the law, I know they did this before. Anyway, for the real fight, Khamzat will smash Diaz, take no pity on him and finish him off. A bad ending for Diaz...

What's the legal issues with Masvidal? I can't seem to find much on it with a search. Seems he's been pretty active on Twitter, and still pushing for a fight?

As for a bad ending for Diaz, do we actually think he'll retire? Seems like one of those fighters that has been around forever, and will continue to fight long after he probably should've retired, receiving quite a few beat downs.

I like Diaz, but he definitely isn't the same fighter, and I've never been a huge fan of him anyway. So, I wouldn't mind seeing him hang it up after the fight.

Be careful now...  Leon Edward doesn't really have an iron cast chin.  Remember that Nate Diaz wobbled him in the fifth round and could have finished him if Diaz wasn't goofing around.  I'm not saying Edward's doesn't have a chance, he does but it's not likely.

Edwards recovered because Nate Diaz doesn't hit that hard.  Usman could hit really hard and has improved his boxing by a lot since training with Trevor Whitman.  I think the under 4.5 at 2.26 has some value.  That's 4.5 rounds of Usman looking to starch Edwards.  And Usman did show he could be wobbled too in the match vs Burns.

Here are a couple of vids to watch...

UFC Free Fight:  Edwards vs Diaz
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jD-vCU31y00

UFC Free Fight:  Usman vs Covington 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEXk9iQFTms

Here are my lottery tickets.  Tail at your own risk.

Usman - Woodson - Albazi at 2.10
Add:  Costa - Pedro - Maverick at 3.70
Add:  Aldo - Gordon - Qileng at 18.89
Add:  Altamirano - Loosa - Pudilova at 130.03
Add:  Tybura at 572.19
