This is bad news for Bangladesh. Because like the first match, the Bangladesh team would win this match for sure. The Bangladesh team's batting impressed me today. Mushfiqur in particular played brilliantly. We are used to seeing Mushfiq batting at 70-80 strike rate. But Mushfiqur was unbeaten today scoring 100 runs off just 60 balls. Left arm seamer over the wicket or debutant Offie, doesn't matter. They will rattle the Indian batting lineup once in a while for sure and when they do, they do it in style and we see fine collapse.

I won't mind this sort of collapse in bilateral. In fact, I'd consider this blessing in disguise if we don't face this in ICC's knockouts. 

India's biggest problem is unstable middle order. I agree once in while there would be a bowler who will create problem but looking at the past matches I feel every bowlers is creating problem for the Indian middle order. They always collapse in pressure.

I was happy with the agressive approach of Kholi yesterday but he too got out when a straight ball was bowled to him. The Indian side needs to work on the batting order. I feel they should put Rahul above SKY in the next match. I also feel Axar should come before Hardik Pandya.

Not just any bowler but left arm seamer in limited overs cricket (Strac, Boult etc) and debutants in red ball cricket ( Sam Curran, kyle Jamieson, Marco Jansen, Todd Murphy, Matthew Kuhnemann etc and the list goes on)

Rahul seems a good fit for his current position tho so he should stay there. For the number 4th position there is a fair amount of competition between SKY and Iyer, or to some extent maybe Sanju too if management wants him.

They absolutely got robbed of a win in this match. The batting of Mushfiqur Rahim was absolutely unbelievable. He was scooping the ball over the wicketkeeper's head often. His innings were one to watch. This is a great way to come back in form.

I understand that this was against a weaker opponent. But it was still a great performance. We got to see the old Mushfiqur Rahim. Another thing I will appreciate is Litton Das being the opener along with Tamim Iqbal because Das performs best when he is opening for Bangladesh.

Anyway, I think this match not having a result actually opens up a good opportunity for Ireland. If Ireland can somehow win the last match, this series is going to be a draw.

I would be more satisfied if Ishan Kishan opens with Rohit and Rahul at 4 or 5. The reason I want Ishan is that he is a left-handed batsman, and when the opening pair is a left-right combination, the fielders and bowlers have to pay more attention to them and act accordingly to their playing style. I am not saying Subhman is a bad batsman, but to tackle the long-height bowlers of Australia, left-handed batsmen are required. Moreover, I would also prefer Axar Patel instead of Hardik Pandya if it’s a spinning pitch. Let’s see with what changes Rohit Sharma goes for the final one-day match.

Ireland simply imploded yesterday. They conceded 7 runs per over for the second time consecutively. Without two of their best bowlers (Josh Little and Craig Young), they simply don't have the capability to play competitively against the other full members. And their batting is also in good shape, with Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie not in good form. The younger players (Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker.etc) are also not scoring runs. The management needs to organize more U-23 and A tours to sub-continental countries, so that the younger players get an experience of playing under such conditions.

Mark Adair and Andy McBrine were the only experienced bowlers in Irish squad and they completely failed yesterday. In a pitch that offered a lot of support for the spinners, Andy McBrine conceded close to 8 runs per over. Only bright spot was the inexperienced Graham Hume, who picked up 3 wickets. Incidentally he was the only bowler who had an economy of less than 6 runs per over. With Josh Little now concentrating more on franchise leagues, Ireland  will have big problems in their bowling attack. And they don't have a deep player pool to replace someone like Little.
