Every player in the team reached double figures except Yasir Ali. Every player in the team is now performing in his own way. Earlier we used to see that the score of Bangladesh depended on the middle order batsmen of Bangladesh but now from the opening stage to the lower order everyone is finishing the game on their own responsibility. 
Not to mention the performances of Tamim Iqbal (23), Nazmul Hossain Shanta (73), Liton Kumar Das (70), Shakib Al Hasan (17), Tawheed Hriday (49), and Mushfiqur Rahim (100) against Ireland. In particular, Mushfiqur Rahim became the first Bangladeshi to score the fastest century in ODI cricket in the second ODI against Ireland. But it is a pity for Bangladesh that the highest run-scoring match in ODI cricket was abandoned due to rain. But Bangladesh is happy Bangladesh team management is happy to get so many places.

Towhid Hridoy missed his fifty by just one run otherwise there would be 3 fifties and 1 hundred. Bangladesh need to perform like this when they travel outside Bangladesh. After a very long gap we have seen such a performance from Bangladesh team. Not much to say about Ireland bowling yesterday as all of them gave runs freely to Bangladeshi batsmen.

There is no doubt that Bangladesh is playing very well. But they are playing at home ground. All teams are strong on their own pitch. However, several players in Bangladesh's top order are performing well. Liton and Shanto have been playing consistently well. Tawhid Hridoy is a young player, he is contributing to every match. Also, the performance of experienced players like Shakib and Mushfiq is excellent. They will be playing well outside of Bangladesh. Especially the pace bowling attack has to handle. Because the pitches of Australia, England, and New Zealand are mostly pace bowling friendly. And on these pitches, we have seen many bad performances of the Bangladesh team in the past.

Rahul seems a good fit for his current position tho so he should stay there. For the number 4th position there is a fair amount of competition between SKY and Iyer, or to some extent maybe Sanju too if management wants him.

I would be more satisfied if Ishan Kishan opens with Rohit and Rahul at 4 or 5. The reason I want Ishan is that he is a left-handed batsman, and when the opening pair is a left-right combination, the fielders and bowlers have to pay more attention to them and act accordingly to their playing style. I am not saying Subhman is a bad batsman, but to tackle the long-height bowlers of Australia, left-handed batsmen are required. Moreover, I would also prefer Axar Patel instead of Hardik Pandya if it’s a spinning pitch. Let’s see with what changes Rohit Sharma goes for the final one-day match.

The Left and Right handed combo is a fair call but hard to ignore Shubham Gill who is averaging close to 70 as an opener. Maybe pick Ishan Kishan as a backup opener, in case Gill loses his form.

Axar and Hardik both are handy with the bat and ball. Latter is a seam bowling all rounder and destructive with the bat when on the song and considering seam all rounder are big bonus in international cricket then he's the first pick on team roaster as far as LOIs are concerned. The selection process is a big headache IMO.

Now, we are heading for the ODI world cup which needs better strategy and work from management, so I have to talk few things even I am also in favor of one left and one right opening pair, but they can't afford any experiment which will hurt their confidence, so they have to go ahead with their strategy until world cup after this we can afford changes which we have in T20 squad as well which is surely going to give better results in long run.

There is no doubt players pool is going to increase which is positive thing for them and many extraordinary batsmen are also giving impressive performance which will be giving all indications about bright future of all formats in India, but we need to have to work on grassroots and domestic level very tough challenges because just going top is not good you need to be had better things for long run as well as Australia.

The second ODI match is between Zimbabwe and Netherlands. This match and series is a part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League, and for Zimbabwe it will be their last matches in the league. For Netherlands, two ODIs against South Africa remain.

Some of the Bangladesh team players didn't performed the last England series as expected for this reason Bangladesh had to lose the series very badly. Which was not such a history in the last 10 years of Bangladesh. Liton Das of top order batsman did not perform in any of the three matches. Which is a big failure for its own and Bangladesh team. In recent times they are performing well against Ireland but they will do well that is known to everyone. But good performance is important when needed. However, I hope they will come back through this series.

Batting first in today's second ODI match of Ireland tour, Bangladesh set a target of 349 runs in 50 overs.  Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim gave a great performance in batting.  Mushfiqur Rahim scored 100 runs off 60 balls.  And Nazmul Hossain scored 73 runs off 77 balls. All the batsmen of Bangladesh scored very good runs. However, Shakib Al Hasan scored very few runs in today's match. If Shakib Al Hasan performs badly in bowling now, it will be difficult for the fans of Bangladesh to accept it.

Yes, some time ago it was officially announced that the 2nd ODI match between Bangladesh and Ireland was abandoned due to rain. Due to rain today's match was not played in 2nd inning. I expected Bangladesh team to win today but the game was abandoned. If Ireland players could have performed well in bowling today.  Maybe Bangladesh could not have scored so many runs. I think the runs that Bangladesh have scored are too many.

They have included one spinner (Shariz Ahmad) as well. The Africans are on the backfoot now, after losing the captain Craig Ervine in the third over to Klaassen. Both the teams are out of contention in the ODI Super League, but a win will help both of them to avoid the last place.

The third and the last ODI between Australia and India will be played tomorrow in Chennai. After watching the first two ODI and seeing the bowlers dominating this series I feel the same situation will happen tomorrow. Mitchell Starc is the bowler that has made the life of top Indian batters miserable and tomorrow he is the player to look for.

This is the first time that I have seen batters from both the teams struggling to score 200+ on the scoreboard in the subcontinent. Generally the pitches are batting friendly but the pitch curators are in no mood to give batters a chance to open up thier arms. I hope the condition are different tomorrow in Chennai.

The Zimbabwean team is in disaster at their own venue. It is not yet possible to say how the Zimbabwean team is looking at this miserable situation in the first match of the series because the first innings has not yet ended. The top-order batsmen and the captain himself completely failed to stand stay on the pitch against the Netherlands. Sikandar Raza ,Innocent Kaia, Craig Ervine and Gary Ballance's low scores could be one of the reasons for the team's defeat.

Almost all of the Dutch bowlers except Colin Ackermann have picked up wickets. The score is 135 in 29 overs and now they have with 3 wickets. But with those wickets, the Zimbabwean team can give an innings of 200 runs? Otherwise they will lose the match.

Wellington Masakadza and Clive Madande are on a rescue mission after Zimbabwe lost 7 wickets on just 98 runs in 21 overs. They both have taken the score to 167 and still 13 more over left. Netherlands have performed well with bowl, almost all there bowlers have got wickets. Netherlands must try to get rid of both these batsmen as quickly as possible. If Zimbabwe give target of 225 or above then it will be difficult for inexperience Netherlands side to win the game.

And I would say if Zimbabwe can collect more than 220 then they will win because Netherlands' batting line-up is not very strong. Their entire performance depends on 2/3 batsmen. In this match, Zimbabwe now seems to have more chances to win.

Ireland took the bowling decision in the toss. But the performance of their bowlers was not good. They bowled very badly. Bangladesh collected 108 runs in the last 10 overs. Towhid Hridoy and Mushfiqur Rahim batted brilliantly. This is why they were able to give such a huge target. Bangladesh's collection was only 102 runs in the first 20 overs. Even then it was unimaginable that they would give such a big target. But unfortunately for Bangladesh, the match was abandoned due to rain. Bangladesh would have won this match if the weather was good.

Mushfiqur Rahim century went in vain as rain come down to rescue Ireland. Bangladesh performing too good at there home soil. 349 was a massive target and Ireland would be in trouble if they have to chase it down. Anyways Ireland will be happy at the moment since there is no result of this match. Still one more ODI to go and Bangladesh is favorite for the upcoming game.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored a century but unfortunately the match was affected by rain and Ireland could not complete their innings. As a result the match ended without any result. Bangladesh have been performing well on their home soil and it would have been difficult for Ireland to chase down their target of 349 runs. However due to bad weather the match was abandoned and Ireland must have been relieved to escape unscathed. The two teams still have one more ODI to play and Bangladesh are considered favorites to win the upcoming match. It will be interesting to see how both the teams perform and whether the weather conditions allow for a full match.

Madande is still unbeaten with 47 runs. It seems that the Zimbabwean team will be able to collect as much as 220. And I would say if Zimbabwe can collect more than 220 then they will win because Netherlands' batting line-up is not very strong. Their entire performance depends on 2/3 batsmen. In this match, Zimbabwe now seems to have more chances to win.

With each passing over, this match looks like a nightmare for the Dutch. Zimbabwe are at 218/8, with 6 overs remaining. Remember that at one point they were at 98/7, and then at 168/8. The Dutch bowlers have completely failed to take the wickets of Zimbabwean tail end batsmen. If they get to 250 or so, then the match is all over for Netherlands. BTW, I don't understand the strategy from the Dutch captain. He is continuing with part-timers like Colin Ackermann, when he has enough overs from Fred Klaassen, Paul van Meekeren and Vikramjit Singh.

South Africa vs West Indies is the match between these two teams that I am enjoying now. In this game, if West Indies batting can hold their wickets now then they still have a big chance to score good runs. If West Indies can score 300 runs today then West Indies  Today's match will have a big chance to win. And if West Indies can make 270 runs then we will see a tough fight between the two teams. West Indies batsman Brandon King was dismissed for 72 runs off 72 balls. If Brandon King could have lasted a few more overs.  Could have completed his 100 runs but could not match 100 runs as he got out. The rest of the West Indies batsmen did not score much today.

WI is already leading the series and with today's match if they win they will win the series. At the moment they have scored 221 for 8 wickets. I am sure it would not be easy for them to give SA a target of more than 250 runs. Anything less than 250 in ODI is an easy to chase target. In that sense, this match would be easily won by the SA side unless WI bowlers are able to defend a low target.

West Indies scored 221 runs in 43 overs which is a comparatively good score and they have 7 more overs to play.  But South Africa is a much better team than West Indies, still South Africa has a lot of chances to win, West Indies can get more runs in the remaining 7 overs, maybe they can cross 250 runs. However, it is expected that South Africa will cross it if they get the target less than 300 runs. So South Africa need to bring a better performance in their game and try to collect good runs in the remaining seven overs.  On the other hand, since West Indies have already lost 7 wickets, they will also have to keep an eye on their wickets to complete the full 50 overs. So this game of West Indies with South Africa has been a very challenging match. If West Indies want to win this match, they will have to focus well on bowling and always try to take the wickets of South Africa.  If South Africa get a chance to play the full 50 again, I think they will be able to meet the target set by the West Indies.
