Shakib Al Hasan and Touhid Hridoy gave a very good batting performance for Bangladesh today.But today was a special day for Towhid Hriday as today was his first match in a one-day international.If he could have been a little more patient, he would have scored a century, unfortunately his century did not happen. Bangladesh won the first match of the series by a huge margin.

The saddest is about Towhid Hriday as if he had scored just 8 more runs he would have achieved the ODI century milestone in his lifetime. And along with Shakib Al Hasan came up with the century letter for them and due to the difference of only a few runs, the century of both of them remained behind the dream. Although Bangladesh won, Taskin took three wickets and all of Bangladesh performed well in the ODI matches due to which Bangladesh's biggest win came against Ireland. Future matches can be taken forward by seeing such performances.

I do not think this game is unpredictable anymore now. Bangladesh should be able to come out as the victorious team in this match.

Bangladesh won by 183 runs and this result was obvious. Ireland is a weak team and I do not expect that they would show any resistance to the Bangladesh team. Shakib Al Hasan and Towhid Hridoy scored 93 and 92 runs respectively and were the main highlight of the match.

Coming to the other match between South Africa and WI,  the west indies scored 335 runs. Who would have thought west indies can make this big toal? Shai Hope scored 128 runs and remain not out.

South Africa has also aggressively started in the innings and they are 76 for 1 in 8 overs. The game is ON !!!

I am enjoying the West Indies vs South Africa match now. The performance of the West Indies batsmen was quite good. And they scored 335 runs. Although the pitch is flat pitch. 335 runs on this pitch cannot be said to be too difficult. However, West Indies had a chance of winning if they could do controlled bowling.
The performance of the West Indies bowlers is very poor. After 24 overs, South Africa managed to collect 182 runs, they lost only two wickets. Africa needs 156 runs in 24 overs to win. So far, Africa's chances of victory seem high.

Okay, i might be a bit biased when it comes to Shakib but I seriously don't understand how come Towhid Hridoy got the man of the match award.

Shakib scored 93 runs with the ST of 104-ish and picked up 1 wicket, on the other hand, Towhid Hridoy scored 92 runs with an SR of 108. Hardly a big difference in SR IMO.

And considering Shakib all round role in this win, i believe he was the suitable candidate unless they wanted to hand out an award to the debutant.

South Afica vs West Indies

I am enjoying the West Indies vs South Africa match now. The performance of the West Indies batsmen was quite good. And they scored 335 runs. After having first washed out things were looking good for the visitors first time in this series because West Indies after winning toss elected bat first and have very good target on board with Shai Hope is the best batsman for this format as he scored big hundred even no other batsman able to give him company he single-handedly plays and have few small partnerships now South Africa is chasing this target which was looking good in start but captain Bavuma leading from front 92 on 86 balls with now we are in 27 over 190/3 mean all set for the home side to take lead in this series after winning test series by 2 - 0.

West Indies having good batting in this match but sadly now their bowling is completely useless and not able to handle this all with this all now South Africa need 131 runs from 21 overs.

Just because Hridoy is debutant in ODI for Bangladesh the man of the match is being awarded to him. He have got good track record in BPL and with this he have made the record of debutant to score the highest run. Earlier it was during the year 2011, Nasir Hossain scored 63 runs. Shakib Al Hasan being an experienced player, he understands well and he's the one who gave suggestions and advice to score in the deep. After the match, Hridoy mentioned playing along with Shakib Al Hasan is really enjoyable and he gives good advice and encouraged to perform well.

Yeah I agree, because I also feel there is no way to give MOM award in this all situation clearly Shakib was better in both batting and bowling which give him edge for winning this award, but we can't talk about ground realities because persons sitting on ground always feel different from us which is big difference about this, so we have to accept their decision about this all even still this is shocking decision to give him award.

But here I want to give one point as Towhid was playing his first ODI and give best from him which allow his side for having this big target and big win this is going into his favour because all time applauding youngsters is good thing in every sport.

Bangladesh's performance in the last few matches has impressed me. This team is now very strong in both batting and bowling. Shakib, Hridoy, Liton and Shanto are in excellent form. And they are able to play well in almost every match. Also the performance of Bangladeshi bowlers Taskin and Mustafiz has improved compared to earlier. This group cannot be considered weak now. The Bangladesh team is capable of defeating any big team. But players must maintain consistency of performance. Bangladesh hopes to qualify for the semi-finals in the next World Cup.

Either Shakib gave up the award voluntarily or it was done to encourage the young lad. I am also feel Shakib was kept in loop if this award was given for encouragement.

In the end it is just an award with some financial benefits. With one single award there is zero gurantee that he would be consistent with his performance & have sealed his place in international cricket.

The second ODI between India and Australia would be played today. While everyone nwas talking about KL Rahul's comeback after the first ODI. I went ahead and looked into the performance of Sir Jadeja after his comeback from injury. . Man of the Match in the first test, Man of the match in the second test, Joint Man of the series for BGT & Man of the Match in first ODI. Sir Jadeja is the reason why I feel the Indian side can become ODIWC winner of 2023.

You are not alone who was expecting South Africa to win this match even after conceding 335 runs from team like West Indies there were many others also having same expectations from them and until 30 overs inning there was chance for them to win this match, but suddenly we have mini collapse from the South African side and then fail to recover from this collapse even Temba done good job until end and scored his career best with complete his 1000 runs as well but his batting and all effort gone into vain with this defeat Akeal Hosein and Alzarri Joseph play a vital role for the win of their team.

Shai Hope is currently the best player for the West Indies in White ball format as he has done good job with 128 runs without any support from other side where we have all gone quickly now on 21st March we will have last ODI at Potchefstroom.

There are several reasons behind this remarkable performance of Bangladesh. Earlier, Bangladesh used to rely on the selected few players, if any of the selected players did badly, Bangladesh could not come back in that match, but now Bangladesh can rely on all the players.  And the mentality of every player is made in such a way that anyone can take out the match if they want. Bangladesh needed this mindset. Hope to perform well regularly from now on.
