Today I thought maybe England would win their last ODI match against South Africa but that thought is starting to change. Lungi Ngidi's excellent bowling in the opening especially caused havoc in England's batting line-up. Lungi Ngidi took England's first three wickets with 7 runs in just 3 overs. Whether today's match will be dominated by England or South Africa will not be predicted without watching the full match. In my view, South Africa will win today's match and whitewash England.

This is some smashing balling by South Africa,  lungi Ngidi totally crushed England opening batting lineup . The run rate is too low till now England having trouble in collecting runs due to balling of SA.
Its too early to say but expected target might be 200 today with this sort of performance from both sides.

Although the batting line of England was devastated in the beginning, Dawid Malan and Josh Butler are two batsmen who are trying to take England to a crucial position. As England fell by 3 wickets for 14 runs, Dawid Malan and Jos Butler batted very smartly to take the team to a crucial solid position of 190/3 so far. Both batsmen are close to centuries, Dawid Malan on 90 runs and Jos Butler on 85 runs &  both are undefeated.

England's batsmen have started a good game now. They have scored 212 runs in 38 overs. So far England have lost 3 wickets. But they have only 3 overs left. Now it is to be seen how many runs England can score in these 3 overs. England's batsman Jos Buttler 104  Scored 98 runs. And scored 99 runs from 105 balls. These two batsmen scored almost all the runs. If they have a few more runs, both of them will complete 100 runs. If England can score 240 runs today, then maybe we will see a tough game in the match.

At start of match I taught england were not in mood of winning this match because they lose 3 wicket too early one after another but later malan and captain j.Buttler take charge and build a phenomenal strong partnership of two hundred with centuries of both player, but now unfortunately the partnership has been broke because malan has been dismissed. Now england has score 269 in 43 over while 4 batter are down. Hope in this remaining 7 overs england will score around 350 if Buttler remain not out till end if not then they will score around 300.

But we have already seen that South Africa beat England in the previous two matches.  So if South Africa can beat England today then they will whitewash England in this series. But England will want to win this match. And they have already put up a fighting score to win. Now if the English bowlers can bowl economically and keep wickets falling against regular opposition then I think England can win this match.

The match is not important for South Africa. South Africa won the series by winning the first two matches. So if South Africa is not able to win this match, there is no problem. I already predicted that England will win the last match. Maybe my guess is going to be right.

After 9 wickets gone South Africa is out of the game , they had total control on the game when hienrich kalsen was batting but after his wicket things in favour of England.  Jofra Archer  is the man of this match for taking g 5 important wickets of South Africa. 
Now England can win this 3rd ODI and save them from whitewash .

I think if klaasen were on crease for little more he will make huge difference but unfortunately he got dismissed on 80, after his dismissal no one resist and gone dismissed one after another only W.parnell score runs after klaasen. But game is totally out of control from them now 9 player of them are dismissed and it's confirmed that they gonna lose this match because T.shamsi and L.ngidi can't score the required runs. Any way good for England because they safe himself from whitewash

South Africa was getting close the victory, but they have lost the match by 59 runs. They would have won the match if the lower order batsman made a good partnership. Anyway, South Africa must need victory against Netherlands to ensure their direct entry in the ODI world cup. I think South Africa will easily win the series against Netherlands and enter in the top 8. In that case, West Indies and Sri Lanka have to play the qualify match to enter in the main event of the world cup.

I was hoping that South Africa would win the match yesterday so that we know which are the teams that would qualify directly to the ICC ODI World Cup of 2023. Now with 2 matches (against Netherlands) remaining, South Africa have 79 points. By chance, if they lose even one match against the Dutch, they will be in deep shit. One win in the next two matches may enable them to overtake West Indies, but then there is threat from Sri Lanka. Lankans are at 10th place with 77 points. If they win all their remaining matches, then They will have 107 points (South Africa can only reach to 99 at the most).

So we need to wait until last week of March to find out who will qualify directly. Because the SL vs NZ series will start by then. The two remaining matches in the South Africa vs Netherlands series will be played on 31st March and 2nd April. We need to wait for another 2 months to find out regarding the participants for the ODI World Cup. It can be frustrating.

Agreed. It was a spectacular comeback from Jofra Archer. He has been out of action for almost one and half years and then returns to take 6 wickets in his 9 overs, and that too against a team that successfully chased a target of 343 only a few days back. All the other England bowlers were leaking plenty of runs. Archer was the only one with an economy rate of less than 6.00. So it would be safe to say that without him, England would have lost the match. South Africa didn't looked like they were comfortable, at any point in the chase. They were regularly losing wickets.

Archer is just 27-years old and therefore he has the potential to become one of the legends in pace bowling. But he needs to stay away from injury. One encouraging sign is that he hasn't lost any of his pace. Throughout the match, he maintained an average speed of around 90 mph.

So I do not see a lot of chatting going on about the coming ICC Women's Cricket World Cup? It is scheduled to be held in South Africa, from 10 to 26 February 2023.  The tournament had been moved from its original date at the end of 2022 to February 2023 due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

What is your predictions for this Women's Cricket World Cup and do you think the host country will have a higher chance of winning, seeing that it is going to be in front of their home crowd?

South Africa being in the home ground will have higher chance. More teams in good form makes the tournament more interesting. I'm waiting for today's T20 match between India Women and South Africa Women. Even this match outcome will help in predicting the better team on the Women's World Cup.

England were able to save their face after struggling in the last two matches. As usual the English batted very well but the real reason they won the match was because of Archer. 6 wicket for just 40 runs is an incredible achievement after coming back from an injury. I hope he stays fit throughout this year and especially in the ODIWC. He is the only bowler that the English have who can easily snatch away the game from the opponent team.
