England's posibility of winning yesterday's match were high but who expected that they lose in that match? In the second innings England bat against 298 runs where Jason Roy and Dawid Malan scored significantly well but other teammates failed. As a result, they had to be defeated even in an easy match. This is the first match of the series there will have two matches left so England will be desperate to keep the series alive.

Myself believed England will win the match till it was 266/7. Once England lost the wicket of Sam Curran I lost the hope, because the tail end players can't be expected to score against the bowlers of South Africa. Anrich Nortje contributed good taking 4 wickets. For England the opening is good, and the middle order didn't contribute. If the middle order had added few runs, the tail end would've taken the match towards a win as there won't be much of pressure.

At one point England totally owned that game but last 3 wickets fell quickly and they lost the game.
South Africa ballers definitely nailed it and they earned this victory for their country,  although they managed to give a good target of 295 but for England apparently that was easy to chase which didn't happen obviously due to good balling side if South Africa.

First of all, it was a great performance in South Africa. They did very well too. Give a target close to 300 Rassie got his century. It was a well constructed century as well. Overall a great performance from all the players of South Africa. And we also can see that this performance was not only good in one inning from South Africa. They perform well in both innings. In batting and bowling both.

On the other hand, England's batting performance was not very good. The openers played really well. And the way England started I thought they are going to win. Jason Roy and David Malan performed really well. But other than that, the other batman of England absolutely failed to do any kind of scoring. This is certainly a great performance from South Africa and let's see how they perform going forward.

Yeh absolutely all team are preparing themselves brilliantly and no doubt due to recent performances of indain team they are favorite for any upcoming competition, but you can't underestimate the main rival of india which is Pakistan. Most of Pakistani player showing phenomenal performances in BPL so I think Pakistan will give tough time to indian batter because of world class bowler and also in batting the current king of ODI format Pakistani Captain Baber Azam has ability to brutally punish every opponent bowler. So keep eyes on them also.

After reading this all and checking few details I have feeling this all set up is completely crap because now they have enough teams, and they can go for the qualifiers instead of having eight teams into direct entry and just two will be joined from other teams which is not good idea as things going we need around 14 to 16 teams into ODI world cup and then 18 to 20 into Twenty world cups which will give better marketing about this game, and we will be able to have more countries and region in limelight, but they are doing things like these which are not going to have any positive impact.

Now many countries are increasing their quality and having good performance so with this all just having big-3 now it's time for adding more countries in ICC which will bring better transparency and balance as well because right now just three are doing things for their own sack, and we are going to lose another opportunity for adding themselves into Olympics which is also not good having 14 or 16 full ODI members and then 18 to 20 in T20i will be ideal situation for the all countries as recently we have good response in Women's U-19 world cup things are turning into positive way for this game.

The present squad have got good set of players. Something lacked in the previous game, the players can give the best. It was supposed to be a winning match for England, fortunately South Africa took credit of the last moments. Today's second match will be more interesting and England will surely go for first batting if they win the toss. After winning the T20 World Cup 2021, now their target is the ODI World Cup but they are showing a lot of hopelessness towards goal. Although they still have enough time to recover. But South Africa deserves praise. They suddenly turned from their previous position. Anrich Nortje-4, Kagiso Rabada-2 and Sisanda Magala-3 got wickets each in the first match. The victory was snatched away from England. Another match is going to start today. But today's match will be more important for both of the team. To me Jason Roy century was more entertaining then Rassie van der Dussen century since Roy took only 91 balls to score 113 runs with 4 sixes. Both teams are of equal strength in ODI and it can be anyone game today.
