Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks

Does anyone here have some information regarding the start of the new conference and its setup?
I watched the news yesterday and I think a reporter said that the start of the Commissioner's cup will be somewhere between the 3rd week and 4th week of this month so I think that it's confirmed.

Brownlee is my favorite import in the NBA, so this next conference, I will be putting my bet on the Ginebra San Miguel. I also hope that all the starters are healthy once again especially Thompson who is really good help on the defense of the team, he can limit Mikey Williams for sure.

Per news article, Justine Brownlee is available to play as an import in our country, good thing that he didn't play or offered a more lucrative offer in Japan B-league. With his charisma and athleticism, I think there he could unite the disgruntled Ginebra Kings  Grin.

If Christian Standhardinger is still with Ginebra by the start of the second conference, i think the Gins Kings are a little bit stronger because they could execute the run and gun system as the first five will be all athletic.

I just hope though that this next conference will not be a bubble and the crowd will already be allowed to watch live and covid cases continues to declined.
He is very loyal to the Ginebra team and whenever a new season with import is coming in PBA, he is the first person they are calling.

He is I think the best import that we have in the league. Also add the chemistry that the Ginebra players has been build with Brownlee and I think that they are a playoff contender team or possible a championship caliber team. I don't want to expect too much though because we've seen how they played last Filipino Cup. Many picked them as the champion (including me) but they got eliminated at the first round.

If the PBA will allow audiences to watch, I think that it is a good thing for both the league and for the people. Fans can watch PBA games again live and at the same time, more revenue for the league. However, there is still a chance that this might turn out bad (hope not) and it might cause a case spike. Well, a large percentage of people around Metro Manila is already vaccinated so I think they will allow it or if the city will be at Alert Level 2 then they will allow it.

Brownlee is the favorite import of Ginebra, they always get him every time a conference requires an important and I hear some rumor before that they are planning to get Brownlee their naturalized player but it didn't happen.

Anyway, still good that Brownlee still working with Ginebra and I like him because he is just cool, unlike other imports who cause some big fights like Renaldo Balkman who was banned but later unbanned.

He wanted to enjoy playing with Ginebra instead of taking a much bigger offers, with such talent he can easily sign a contract with Japan B-League.

He's more than any other Pinoy players who are earning decently now playing with that league, his caliber is truly amazing, we all seen him excite every

Pinoy fans and he continue to gain that charisma, just waiting for any news about this conference set up, I see more good new about lowering cases of

covid, we might see the game inside metro and no longer a bubble.

Right he certainly just love to play in PH teams, looks like he has a heart of a Filipino.

Ths is one basis on why I'd say he loves to play with PH teams.

Brownlee always deliver and a good contributor to Ginebra, now that imports are already ok I’m pretty sure the next conference will be more exciting since we miss those imports to play with the teams.

The PBA also pleads to allow live audience in the next conference, I hope they can work this out because many misses that moment and since we are slowly getting back to normal, there’s a high chance for this to happen.

It's time for the PBA to slowly recover from losses during the bubble, with the audience allowed, they can increase their revenue and would be a big help for the next seasons to come. I miss seeing the imports and the fans as well, so hopefully, everything will be realized and restrictions in Manila will not be back to MECQ.

With the covid cases dropping down every day and people are already aware of the consequences if they are too complacent, i don't think the quarantine status of NCR will be reverted back to MECQ this year so hopefully, PBA will be back with an audience, the only threat now for the oldest league in Asia is the Japan B-league.

List of imports were already released so its clear now that those in the list are available to play in the next PBA conference.

This is a real problem for the PBA as the players have an option to play with the B-league due to a big salary that they are not getting in the PBA.
We have Mikey Williams are leading on the MVP race now, who knows after his contract with the PBA, he might not renew and will proceed to the B-league where he can also be the star at the same time while making money that he will never make in the PBA.

Time for the PBA to make a solution for this problem as this is a long-term problem, the league will be affected, nowadays, it's not only pride or the debt of gratitude, it's always about money first.

The list of imports was already released so it's clear now that those in the list are available to play in the next PBA conference.
I saw the lineup of imports and I'm only familiar with JB, probably he will still win as the Best Import.

I missed Allen Durham actually.

So when are we going to see the next conference, I'm excited to see a new one.

There are rumors that it will be by mid-November, is it already confirmed now?

Does anyone here have some information regarding the start of the new conference and its setup?
Just wait for it. Like the last season, it went through a lot before the announcement came. But this time, it will be easier because the battle against the covid-19 is becoming better. I'm expecting that it can be now with Smart Araneta coliseum but still with protocols like social distancing and it's prohibited to have an interaction of fans to the players so there's going to be a far distance just like what's with the B League.

the only threat now for the oldest league in Asia is the Japan B-league.
True but if the commissioners and other high positions of PBA won't take an action then it's for sure that they'll surpass PBA as they're acting as usual, no changes at all. B League aims to be at the top and next to the known leagues.

PBA really likes to have a live audience but the IATF isn't recommending it for now. With the ease of restrictions especially in Manila, I hope they will allow PBA to slowly get back to its normal environment playing in their usual event with a live audience. There's no way the whole Manila will back again at those much restrictions but only on the specific place (granular lockdown).

Regarding imports, I'm sure they will allow (as they even have the list of it) next conference as long as they are fully cleared of any signs of the virus. Just imagine other countries are now accepting foreign players like our own PH players to other countries so I think PH should do the same since after all, it's only a few imports that will play here and tests can be done easily.

So when are we going to see the next conference, I'm excited to see a new one.

Even without a rumor, it should be this month.

The restart of PBA every year always starts at All-Filipino Cup Conference. IThe next conference should be this month or before the year ends.

While most of the players are choosing the offer over the team, Brownlee is just one of the few players who are a complete opposite of them.

For sure the offers from other countries are higher because we've already saw PH players going to other countries to play maybe for experience but lets face it, they want to earn a higher salary that's why they are playing outside PH. Brownlee is different because he chooses to play because maybe for him, the competitiveness here in our league is higher than other countries.

Many wants him to be the naturalized player but for some reasons, they aren't picking him. Now they chose a different naturalized player.

There's still no update on whether the PBA will allow fans to watch the game, they just rely on the protocol imposed by the IATF probably.

Latest update about the new conference.

Vargas said the league choice of venue will be influenced by the quarantine protocols in place in the area. The quarantine protocols, in turn, will dictate whether the league will mount another bubble or semi-bubble or a home-venue-home arrangement.

Vargas said the league choice of venue will be influenced by the quarantine protocols in place in the area. The quarantine protocols, in turn, will dictate whether the league will mount another bubble or semi-bubble or a home-venue-home arrangement.

Thanks for the update, there's no assurance that the fans may be allowed but as the restriction gets lighter, it could give a possibility that one day we will see some fans in the arena although limited. What's good also with the possible new setup is that players can go home to their families unlike in the bubble where they just have to stay in one venue which would make them miss their family.

I can't wait to see the next conference start, it's been a while since we saw the imports play so this could give more excitement, and please don't expect that TNT would still win the championship this time because SMB and BGSM will surely not gonna let it happen.

I'm sure if the Cojuangco is the one who managing the Gilas or our PH team, Brownlee is already a naturalized.

It won't take long to argue about that matter. Brownlee is very flexible. He knows how to adjust and the level and caliber that he can provide to our nationals is competitive enough compared to those who we have now.

It's just a matter of politics inside this sport, just a rumor though:Smiley but if we assess this guy is more likely fits and will probably help our National Team!

There's still no update on whether the PBA will allow fans to watch the game, they just rely on the protocol imposed by the IATF probably.

Latest update about the new conference.

Getting lighter and the chance of having the full setup is no longer far. If other countries who start bringing their economy back are doing well, they are making it possible to dwell with this virus.

We can also achieve that if there are more vaccinated citizen and if possible everyone will take this to lessen the chance of more spread.

I'm excited also to see another conference to start, a good indication that players and team owners are still here
and willing to bring the entertainment to the fans, though there are possibilities to see some stars to fly out of the country
and take a much better offers.

It's always the IATF that has the final say on whether they will let the fans watch live or not but with covid on a decline, I think we are going there. Manila will be downgraded to alert level 2 and IATF recommended the removal of plastic barriers on public utility vehicles, high chance that people can watch PBA games by Christmas.

It's just fresh on the news that starting by Nov. 5, a few hours from now. The whole NCR will now be placed under alert level 2. And that means that there will be more capacity in establishments and as well as kids can go now into that establishments as long as the parents are fully vaccinated.
So I think, if this will continue until the start of the next season, we could see PBA playing with fans and for sure there will be a lot to watch live because we all missed that activity watching live games.

Great news, if they are allowed to go to establishments like the mall, then there's no difference in going to sports events as long as the proper protocol is observed. I don't know why it's hard in our country to get back to normal while in other countries like the US, people are already allowed to go in sporting events to watch, so I guess we are too far behind already.

Yeah, they're going to allow that when we're already under alert level 2. Cinemas are now back and for sure sporting events like PBA, they're going to be back again with audiences.
Maybe next month we're going to be at the alert level 1. The daily cases are dropping and as well as the total number of covid cases, they significantly dropped.
