Some SMB fans in social media think Vic Manuel added a boost to their firepower. Maybe I will agree to them if he's still in his prime. Don't get overhyped on that trade. Since Governors Cup is coming, Vic Manuel might end up as a bench player. The reason is because of his position. He is mostly used as Power Forward but since there's an import next conference, rotations will be modified. I don't see him playing alongside Fajardo as SMB is always putting 3 guards.

However, he will be the best backup and support as in PBA, having a big man is an advantage.

Nicely said  . Vic Manuel will be a backup, though he may play alongside Fajardo at times I think he is not that effective because the painted lane will be crowded. Arwind Santos is one of the best stretch-four in the PBA as he compliments Junemar Fajardo with his high percentage 3-point shooting that is why I agree with you trade will not boost SMB's firepower for now.

Is there a date already for the start of the second conference? I saw in Fajardo's social media post that he's back in the Capital last week and they have started practicing already.

That's good, the fact that they are practicing already means the new conference is just around the corner. How about the imports, is there news already of whether they are in the Philippines or not yet? Our expectation for the start of the new conference is gonna be this month, so let's be optimistic with that and I'm optimistic as well that the trade will boost the SMB's chance to win a championship.

There’s no news yet about the imports but they are coming for sure as we welcome them back on the up coming conference. With the trade on SMB, that can be a good move but for sure TNT and other teams are well prepared to counter that, and it has become more exciting to see that trade this conference will become more exciting, hopefully they can allow now live viewers.

Both Rosario and Poguy are playing tough when the team needed them, they just allow Williams to care of the business but when the time that Williams needs help from his big Bro these two are ready to fire up and back Williams to continue dominating, we have seen them playing as a team and not just a Castro centered team.

The improvement of having coach Chot back, his mentorships provide inspiration to the team. We question back then why Williams is getting minutes during the early season of the Bubble.

We saw why he trusts his rookie and deserves that minute. He brings the title for this franchise and he will continue with the help of his teammates.

Too early to tell yet but if we based our speculations on history, my choice will be Ginebra as Justine Brownlee is a tested import and he is already acquainted with the style of play in the PBA. Too early to tell yet but if we based our speculations on history, my choice will be Ginebra as Justine Brownlee is a tested import and he is already acquainted with the style of play in the PBA. Shabazz Muhammad might have impressive numbers in the CBA but bringing it in the PBA is a tough challenge as we all know that most of the imports complained about the physicality of the PBA, and that might affect his numbers.

Those imports who complained about the physicality of the PBA are not accustomed yet to our style, PBA is probably building that culture so we will be tougher during the international competition, we lack height but at least we play with more physicality.

We are going to see if Shabazz Muhammad could still drop huge numbers once the conference will start, but I doubt he will because we have a lot of great imports playing too and ready to compete in a more physical type of game, flopping is not the game of the PBA.

Wait, aren't you following the PBA? It's not a year, it's just a month after the All Filipino Cup was over and the TNT was the champion.

Yeah, that's for sure. That's always the choice of the majority but since there's already the imports and they're already there. We know that this could be a little game changer. When the Filipino Cup started, we saw the huge improvements of Slaughter when he is in NorthPort. He is more agile now, stronger and a better big than he is when he is in Ginebra. Overall, he improved when he got his training in other country. I also missed Slaughter but he improved when he got traded and that is a good thing for NorthPort. Lets see how Ginebra will adjust on their inside defense again now that they got CStan instead of Slaughter and its Governor's Cup.

CStan is not the problem, when he still playing with the Beerman he contribute a lot, so with Northport, the team managed to increase their winnings

I'm not sure about the problem with Gin kings seems that there's an internal issue with the players and the management, they are not playing the

same after winning the first bubble. And with some key players who are also not healthy from last season. Maybe Brownlee will find the right way

to lead this team and bring the spirit back.

I hope to see the same explosive Williams that could easily provide points for the team, with the imports added it could affect his production but he will continue to be a threat because they can't double him when as that would open up the shooters of the TNT plus they have imports that are also good.
