In the list, I think Justin Brownlee will once again win the best import award. I saw some posts about the statement of Justin Brownlee that he is happy playing in the Philippines and he'll be glad if the PBA will make him their naturalized player so he can help the Philippines represent the country in international competition.

He already won as best import but the scenario right now is really different, there’s a lot of good imports for the upcoming conference so I’m not sure about this one. Having Brownlee on the PH team is a big help, if they plan to neutralized him hopefully the process will not take long since there’s an upcoming international events.

We will never know that they are good until they see them play, besides we haven't seen this kind of conference for a while so it could be a different experience now. But for me, I will still stick with my belief that Brownlee will get the best import award because he can produce good numbers and at the same time could make the team better judging in the past conference.

Justin Brownlee is not a superhuman. He is also aging and currently, he is now out of his prime. Others on the list might take over him as the best import.

For me, KJ McDaniels might be the one candidate for the Best Import Award. He is known already during the time he was the import of TNT Katropa. He will win in stats as no one from NLEX will be his second main scorer as Kiefer is playing in Japan. The Best Import Award is based on stats, not on the achievement of a team.

Just as I expected and posted previously here, the league now has a tentative date for the start of the PBA's next conference. The date was between November 26 to 28. Again, just a tentative date as their concern was the period where Manila will be put on Level 2 restrictions. It's only for 16 days (until Nov. 19th if I'm not mistaken). After that date, there's no assurance if the same level will be imposed later on. Only in Level 2 were sports activity were allowed.

With the current status of pandemic cases here, I think Manila will not shift back to a much strict level restriction and will continue in Level 2. If that happened, the league can now officially start on the said dates and they might allow fans at the venues if ever.

Going back to the topic we are all waiting for the next conference and we are excited to see if how good those imports from different teams, how they will help in chasing for the title.

Is there a way to see the potential imports for each team?

If I'm not mistaken, he helps TNT to play in the semi-finals way back but loss with Meralco in game 5; The guy is a quiet type gunner who also have good stroke, He will be playing for NLEX might be a good help for coach Yeng to compete with this new season,.

I made some checking on KJ McDaniels and found out that he is an ex NBA player, it's very impressive that's why he is good.

And that's why fans love him so much. He is not after the award but the help that he is providing for this crowd favorite. By the way, have you seen those rumors about Aguilar's trade? Not sure if that's for real or Japeth is also considering the offer from B-League? for sure it's a loss for Gin kings if they will let him go, as we all know how big Japeth in terms of stats.

Maybe Brownlee will adjust though not that much as he already played with CStan and with the way he plays, he loves to keep running, CStan is fit doing that.

Yes, I mentioned it bro, 4 times championships in Ginebra. But it's not totally that Brownlee dominates the imports there as on that 3 championships, he only gets the Best Import Award once. That 4 championship in Ginebra is a team effort and Brownless leads them.

That's the reason why he only won once because, on other teams, they just rely on imports mostly. In picking the best PBA imports, they rely on stats. Different from Brownlee that while he is leading the team, other Ginebra gunners are also playing well and contributing.

And you are correct. That clutch shot by Brownlee was his first championship as a Barangay Ginebra.

I'm glad Meralco isn't still on the list yet. I hope they will sign Allen Durham again. They are hard to beat when Durham is there. They managed to get on the top of the standings with their import. It's just that there's Ginebra that always getting in their way. Like to see the comeback of Durham as he is the kryptonite of some top SMC teams and MVP teams.

Most probably because he is at his retirement age already, and he cannot boost anymore since he is not playing in the best team in the PBA. That's a lesson for Santos, let's how he'll work under coach Pido and how he'll be able to help the team to be better. Now, maybe we can tell that Northport is a farm team of SMB.

PBA is not so transparent with the salary of their players, as some posters said, they also have an under the table compensation especially if they win a championship. For Arwind Santos, this are the information I found online.
