It's always the IATF that has the final say on whether they will let the fans watch live or not but with covid on a decline, I think we are going there. Manila will be downgraded to alert level 2 and IATF recommended the removal of plastic barriers on public utility vehicles, high chance that people can watch PBA games by Christmas.

It's just fresh on the news that starting by Nov. 5, a few hours from now. The whole NCR will now be placed under alert level 2. And that means that there will be more capacity in establishments and as well as kids can go now into that establishments as long as the parents are fully vaccinated.
So I think, if this will continue until the start of the next season, we could see PBA playing with fans and for sure there will be a lot to watch live because we all missed that activity watching live games.

Great news, if they are allowed to go to establishments like the mall, then there's no difference in going to sports events as long as the proper protocol is observed. I don't know why it's hard in our country to get back to normal while in other countries like the US, people are already allowed to go in sporting events to watch, so I guess we are too far behind already.

Yes, the virus could stay forever but it cannot be forever also that there's no cure to it. The situation is just temporary, big pharma will eventually produce a cure of the virus where you just need to take it to feel relieved from the fever, so this vaccine might be useless in the long run. I understand that not everyone gets their vaccine but please, the government should be fair, why not allow also people who do not have a vaccine yet to watch the game if they allowed the PBA to get an audience already.

One thing more is that Manuel will have more chances to shoot at the perimeter because they have Slaughter to get those offensive rebounds in case he misses. For me, the NorthPort won this trade. The team has a good amount of guards and at the same time, a good amount of players who can defend the paint. Bollick, Ferrer, Malonzo, Manuel, Slaughter. This starting 5 of them is strong already. Lets see how the team will play a few weeks from now still .

It's nice to know that we are getting to closer to allow the majorities to go out and live as normal as possible, though covid still here the chance of getting cured when you suffer is very possible now. According to Harizen, the new conference is likely to start this month, so be more patient as we will eventually witness a conference where imports could finally play. Of course, this is different from the all Filipino cup as it will be more exciting with more production from the imports, probably more high scoring games as these imports could put up good numbers every game.

I'm also surprised with this move by NorthPort as I think that Sean Anthony is one of the pillars of their team but I guess they needed a player who can compliment the style of play of Robert Bolick. Actually, it's not that Phoenix is better without Vic Manuel but rather, the team doesn't really utilize and use him on his best because maybe of injury or still not in his usual shape. He is playing below his average on Phoenix in the last conference but on the bright side, still a good stats despite not being at 100%.

Regarding the trade, both teams win on that trade. On the NorthPort side, if Slaughter won't be traded, as he's part of the trading rumors, looking forward to their big man tandem with Vic Manuel.

Actually, I refer to how conferences are structured in the PBA.

The usual is, for every fresh start, All-Filipino is the starting conference every year. Since they are planning to have an import, the next conference should be this month or next, as it should happen this year. March is the usual restart of PBA so they still have time for the import conference this year that can last up to 2 months if games will be played mostly at triple headers and every day like they did the last conference.

It's normal if the management didn't get what they wanted from the player and there are other team who

Both Players are no longer on their prime. Maybe they can still provide something, but not the kind of help that will lift the team up.

Yeah, that won't change the fact that covid is still there but the active daily cases on the metro have already dropped and keep on dropping. Hopefully, this is a good sign that we're almost close to going back to our normal lives, and PBA fans can go back again in a socially distancing crowd and will have to cheer their idols and teams again.

AFAIR, I only see 3 names on the list which have already played in the PBA, and of course the most popular is Justin Brownlee who continuously brought success in the PBA every time he plays.

I saw some posts about the statement of Justin Brownlee that he is happy playing in the Philippines and he'll be glad if the PBA will make him their naturalized player so he can help the Philippines represent the country in international competition.

He already won as best import but the scenario right now is really different, there’s a lot of good imports for the upcoming conference so I’m not sure about this one. Having Brownlee on the PH team is a big help, if they plan to neutralized him hopefully the process will not take long since there’s an upcoming international events.
