Congrats to the SMB Beermen for winning game 6, now we  will see a game 7 in the semi Finals and I hope it will be a close game like in game 1. SMB really showed their heart, they don't want to quit as they want to win a championship again. IMO, if SMB wins the series, I think they will become the champion in this bubble.

They will have a higher chance of winning the next gain since they rally and managed to win game 6 despite the hard effort of the TNT. This is a must-watch game for us who grow up watching this prestigious league. But TNT will not give the game easily since they've been known to beat their opponent devastatingly after a high score deficit. SMB will just need to make sure to fight until the last minute of the last quarter to secure the win.

Good win for them, this time, Marcio Lassiter became the best player of the game who scored 19 points in the game and made 5-8 shooting beyond the arc. When he is hot, he is unstoppable so things were easier for SMB this year in this win. Tautuaa also contributed with 24 points in this game, so the points were fairly spread and that's why I like with SMB as you cannot tell who will become the main contributor.

Meanwhile, Magnolia seems trying their best to end the series tonight, they were in good lead by Meralco come back to a close 2 points deficit only, but now, it's back to 8 points but still plenty of time though.

I just read and replied a post here that in history of Coach Leo Austria coaching SMB, he is undefeated when the series goes to Game 7. What will you say about this? Will the TNT break it or the streak continues .

I just saw the stats on the PBA website and the points are evenly distributed. Now we see again Mo got 24 points and Fajardo with another double double and he also played 40 mins. Its good to see that Marcio got his rhythm and scored 19 points. On the other hand though, the usual scorers of TNT didn't score that much in Game 6. Pogoy with only 6 pts, Williams with only 9 pts, Castro scored 16 pts though but it isn't enough.

BTW, congrats to the Magnolia for getting the spot for the PBA Finals. Now they are waiting for who will be the winner in SMB-TNT series. Which team would you like to face Magnolia in the Finals? . SMB or TNT. I will go for SMB not because I'm a fan but I just like to see them winning the championship again (even though they are always winning it) .

With the hassle of Abueva and the consistent presence of Ian Sangalang down low makes the Hotshots stronger than before and a legit contender to the throne. Paul Lee's scoring will just be a bonus as long as he can orchestrate the plays, that's the luxury of the Hotshots now with the arrival of the Beast. Chua must have sent him to Ginebra instead lol.

No, Paul Lee will remain because he is a great 3 point shooter, he just has a bad game and anyone can experience that.
Abueva has leveled up his play, however, he also has a weakness and because of his aggressiveness he can easily be in foul trouble situation and that's not helpful especially if they will play the SMB as they will be abuse inside by the number of bigs of the SMB, especially JMF.

Yeah, they are resting now and they could heal whatever injury they suffered during the series.

The team that finishes the semi-finals early has the advantage to win in the Final as they have a long rest, but in this case, I think it's gonna be an exception as SMB and TNT are good teams, so whoever the Magnolia will face in the Finals, I'm sure they'll have a tough matchup.

I have Junemar Fajardo the MVP if they did in in the Finals because he is very vital to the plays of coach Leo Austria as Magnolia Hotshots is a defense-oriented team, that's a notch up with the arrival of the Beast Calvin Abueva. I don't know what year was that but that Magnolia-SMB Finals reached game 7 with a low scoring series and in game 7, Junemar almost single-handily tow the Beermen to victory and he became the MVP of that Finals, I just see a repeat of that history  .

Well, we've seen this kind of situation many times already so nothing new with it.
There are some times that people see it boring but I don't think that isn't the case most of the time. In fact I still remember when Ginebra and SMB face each other in a regular season years ago, there are many fans watching the game to the point that the arena is almost full of audiences. I miss that moment though. Its these companies that ruined the competitiveness of the game.

SMB hasn't lost in a Game 7 but it doesn't mean that they will automatically win the series already . I would love to see them going to the PBA Finals though (fan here) but if TNT will advance and break the streak then it will be fine for me. Its good to watch TNT games too at least for me.

In game 7, the refs would usually allow them to play physical as they know it's a very important game for teams and we've seen that many times,  players complain about no calls when refs are calling fouls easily but if they notice that the refs are not calling fouls, then they will just go on with the play and it will be a physical play.

At the start of the series AFAIR, over/under was around 160-170 points only, but when both teams were hitting shots and consistently bringing the game to over, that's when the oddsmaker adjust the odds, so pretty much the trend is over but in game 7, I took an exemption and will go for the under.
