I just found out, if Koeman only spoke for 40 seconds on the phone to expel Suarez from his squad this season. Is this good for a world coach? Maybe it's his right but I think it's very disrespectful. But Suarez really doesn't know if it's Koeman's plan or indeed the Barcelona management.

A lot of things already happened since this phone call and I don't think we should make this a big deal. It doesn't really matter now if it was disrespectful or not.

I don't think it was Koeman's decision. It smells like board decision and they just used new coach to do their dirty job. What manager would kick out his best striker immediately after coming to the club? That must have been decision made with regards to Suarez age and his wages. Somebody decided there is a discrepancy and that he is not worth it. Bad call in retrospective but understandable from financial point of view.
Same how Real got rid of Ramos and many other ageing greats before him.

I would put it a little differently that the main person making the decision on the dismissal of Suarez was the management of the club and Koeman was not a categorical opponent of this decision. Do not forget how Koeman formulated the decision in a telephone conversation that he personally does not count on the player, but if the decision is not made, Suarez will take part in the next game. All this suggests that Koeman was clearly not the initiator of parting with the player. I read that Derby County is supposedly using a different league table in the last two games after getting administration and a 12 points deduction, and it immediately made a different psychological boost leading to their games getting won. Players played more energetically and the dressing room was more alive, apparently.

Maybe Barca need to use a different Champions League table and play as if they won 2 games already lol.

Anyway, all they need to do is win next 2 games and it won't look so bad, it's okay (I say myself).

Given that Benfica will play 2 games against Bayern, it is unlikely to earn even one point. Accordingly, Barcelona can take 2nd place in the group without any problems.

Apart from Barcelona  poor performance this season, the thing that most convinced me to bet for Valencia victory is that many Barcelona players are currently playing international matches, so their performance in these matches will automatically decline because they only have little rest time.

My prediction is 3:1 for valencia win

Injuries were tough for them. Specially because some of their main XI players were injured and now that they have recovered, maybe they will be able to turn around in the next matchdays. Their next two matches are against Valencia and Kyiv in the CL. The match against Valencia will be a tough one compared to the one against Kyiv. They have to win the match against Kyiv otherwise their qualification to the next round in CL will be in jeopardy. Let's just hope they can recover from the bad matchdays they had for the last couple of weeks.
