Suarez is a good friend of Messi. Suarez contributed to Messi's success at Camp nou by converting his passes to goes then increasing his assists counts. Then Messi contributed to Suarez success by always assisting him. Both augment each other and developed bond in and outside the pitch.
One shouldn't have left and the other stay back. Also Barcelona's financial issues could be a contributing factor.

The main event of the week was the El Clasico of course. And the result was just as I expected. I assumed that Real Madrid wouldn't be the losing side here and they did even more than that by defeating Barcelona away by 2-1. None of the teams were highly dominant in the game. Koeman doesn't have many options for playing a player who can really make a difference to the team in every mstch. Maphis Depay has always been his mainstay as a striker although so far he has not been able to do much for Barcelona. I really think that Barcelona's glory era was ruined at the hands of Koeman during these two season although he is not the only one to blame for Barcelona's poor performance in the last 2 season.

There is nothing more exciting than El Clasico as long as Messi is no longer on the pitch for Barcelona as it is very clear that Barcelona's quality has become a huge dump after his departure to PSG. My little hope is in Dembele, Ansu Fati, Aguero and Coutinho because I think the four of them will be able to make a positive contribution to Barcelona's game during this season compared to other strikers like Luuk De Jong and also Depay. All he can do is be cocky at the press conference. The issue is that Barca is so broke that they are not wanting to sack Koeman and get a new coach as that is an expensive move. But there's nothing that can be done so somehow they gotta survive this season and maybe the next one as well. And after that, they can start buying some better players.

Atletico Madrid - Real Sociedad match was also a really exciting and delightful one. My favourite team here were Atletico Madrid. After losing to Liverpool home by 3-2 in the Champions League, I thought that they would manage to beat Real Sociedad here. And I accept also that Real Sociedad was a really tough opponent for them. They were the leader in the La Liga in the end. And it was really shocking for me to see that Real Sociedad got ahead by 2-0 in Wanda Metropolitano. Atletico Madrid still managed to gather themselves up and equalized it. And it ended 2-2. Luis Suarez did a great job by scoring two goals and saving his team.

Koeman doesn't have many options for playing a player who can really make a difference to the team in every mstch. 2 or 3 seasons in top 4 of La Liga and participate in quarter round of Champions League would be good enough for Barcelona. I don't think they should expect more in the near future. With this vision, Koeman should be there.
