Real's win was expected, currently they are a much better and more balanced team. Barcelona has some good players and interesting prospects but they have lost too many players in a short period of time and when paired against a world-class team they will look a bit out of place.

Real knew where and how to hurt them and has controlled the flow of the game throughout the whole 90 minutes, leaving Barcelona with ball quite often - but in places in which they could not do much with it.

Deserved win, Barcelona is out of the title race with this team - that much is clear.

I must say that of course everybody has their opinion, but I sincerely disagree when it comes to the attractiveness of this Clasico compared to those in the past. What made the Clasico so crazy over the last decade?

Definitely Messi and Ronaldo with their absolute insane dribblings, putting the opponent's defenders always on the edge of conceiving red cards. Pepe is gone, Ramos is gone, both insanely keen to go nuts when the moment literally called for it. Marcello also gone, and even earlier we had Iniesta who knew exactly how to hurt Madrid.

I think we are a good bit away from the quality the Clasicos had like five years ago.

Like I said, it's only people who started following El Clásico in the last decade who think I won't be hot anymore and given that you are a Barca fan, I understand why you think it's of no more interest to you. If you are a true la Liga fan, you will get over it.

There are a couple of insinuations in your response, but maybe that is how you just prefer to respond. I never said it is boring. I never said it still has the biggest rivalry to offer in the world soccer scene. What I said is that the Clasicos in the past brought more quality onto the pitch, which automatically means closer calls as the players play at the absolute imaginable maximum. If you compare Madrid and Barcelona from 2015 to Madrid and Barcelona from 2021, I guess you would not argue with me that in terms of players' quality there is clearly a difference with the teams from 2015 being way superior.

The result wasn't shameful. A shameful result is the one that happened in England this evening between Manchester United and Liverpool.
The result was fair and expected.
 I already told us before the El classico that Real Madrid will win because they have played some El Clásico without Ronaldo which Barcelona hasn't done without Messi.
Again, Real Madrid is in better form. People were complaining about Real Madrid defense, but you see both goals were produced by the defenders. Those guys are good, it's all in Ancelotti's hands.

The performance in the match was balanced. Although, Barcelona had many chances of scoring, but they Missed. Real Madrid is in the best form, and are looking for more points in order to overthrow Real Sociedad of the  first position. They are a point behind Real Sociedad on the table. Although, to be sincere, Barcelona needs to improve their performance, it haven't been stable lately. Koeman still have to work more on the team.

today I had to watch the game between the atletico and the sociedad and honestly I was thinking: "which one should I hope to lose?" and then I thought: "if sociedad wins it will also be further away from the real madrid" then a draw was the best option and I also wanted to see how much these two teams have improved because in the last games they showed no signs of being very well, but to to my surprise, the two teams  play much better today than real madrid and barcelona, I see that atletico and sociedad will be strong opponents

'Barcelona is a trash!' well that words coming from a friend of mine , a die hard barcelona fan and he really loved to bet against his club thesedays and it turned into a very profitable betting week for him lol.
since the first touch of the game everyone knows where they have to put the money on.. its a joke to see barcelona line up , its like a below standard  ... i'd say its a standard line up for bordeaux in ligue 1

I just wake up and see the result of El Classico today, it was the same as my prediction previously.  

Sadly, I didn't watch the match today. I really wanted to watch it but I was too tired and slept early. However, I am happy with the result because Real Madrid won the match and got 3 points at Barcelona home. I believe that Real Madrid players will have better confidence after winning El Classico, I hope they can improve their performance.
