Agreed with you Barcelona is not in superb form like before I also passing them to stake my amount them because of insane odds as compare with the performance which is really horrible. So that there are pretty low chances of them to make comeback with current game style they have to make new strategy to boost their confidence otherwise it becoming much harder for them to win the trophy of this season.

And still, somehow, against Athletic Bilbao, the bookies are only giving Barca 1.6x today, so strange, I mean we barely got past our last game, drew the previous, and still we're stacked as the clear favorites.

My bet today will be in favor of Barcelona. There is no continuity between the performances of the Barcelona's players. The team has a lot of star and talented players, but none of them are playing well regularly. I think the defense of Barcelona is a bit weak. However, I think Barcelona will not lose today's match. They will win today and  Messi or Dembele will score today.

I choose Barcelona too and hope Messi could back to good performance and make many goal again, I think Messi have longer time forget how to make goal from out penalty kick and always get chance to make goal by penalty. I think 2021 give moment for Messi to proof his the best player for Barceloa, remember this become the last season for Messi in Barca and he will give all power better for Barcelona before left or stay next season with Barcelona.

The last news I read, the agent from Alaba has even spoken to Barca. But we know that Barca is going through a financial crisis, so I think it's still Manchester United who are Madrid's rivals. But  Manchester United is not at UCL this time, so Madrid have more chances.

I don't see the reasons for Alaba to leave a strong club and join a troubling club without any big financial incentive. That I don't think Barcelona and Real Madrid will be able to give a good contract for Alaba.

Manchester United has better conditions than Barcelona and Real Madrid. They are getting good results after the transfer of Bruno Fernandes and with Alaba, they will have another great piece to finish their squad. Man Utd. also can satisfy the salary request from Alaba. Also I think Alaba can adapt to play good in Premier League.

this is an excellent opportunity for barcelona to get closer to the top 3 places. if barcelona misses this great opportunity then this season they can be well below the first 3 places and i think everyone in barcelona knows that.

Interesting statistics. Barcelona have not won any of their last 3 matches in Bilbao. 2 games ended 1-0 and one ended in a draw. This match is worth watching. But now Athletic Bilbao is not very good and Barcelona has a chance to change the negative statistics. ...

Barcelona will win against Athletic Bilbao and make their point 31 tonight. Athletic Bilbao has a strong defensive line and especially at home they don't concede goals much. Barcelona may have trouble finding first goal but if they find it early, the match would be easier for them.

But don't forget that Atletico Madrid often fails to get the trophy just before the competition ends. I agree with you. Maybe this will be Messi's last season in Barcelona. He will definitely want to make this season memorable. But in the current situation, the team is not able to achieve the expected results and Messi is not able to play as well as expected. Earlier there were Rakitich and Vidal as midfielders. Two very talented players. Now Barcelona's midfield and defense are not as strong as before. So the team is failing to get good results.

You may think that Barcelona is in "big" trouble but these are huge clubs, they could be in debt for hundreds of millions of dollars and still postpone payments and make them lower but longer in order to get any player they want, they could even get a loan from a bank instead of paying all at once which they usually do.

So long story short we are talking about Barcelona and Real Madrid here, they have nearly endless amount of money, of course they do not want to pay too much or get in financial trouble too much, but if they see a good deal, they will definitely get into it, there is no way they will back up, they are not in that bad situation. United is the same situation of course, they are one of the best clubs for brand awareness and they keep making a lot of profit thanks to it, and they can still get any player they want for any money as long as the player agrees.

i was typing to tell you that it won't be easy for Barcelona, and Bilbao scored right away, they played so well against real madrid even with a red card, but i still believe Barcelona can win this game, it's the right time to bet on them.

Barcelona are 2-1 ahead against Athletic Bilbao right now. In the first half, Barcelona were too dominant. I. Williams scored Bilbao's first goal and they got ahead 1-0 in the first minutes of the match. But Barcelona responded them with 2 goals (Pedri and Messi) and they finished the first half 2-1 ahead. I still do not trust Barcelona much and I think Bilbao can still equalize the score and get at least one point here.
