Europe is shooting itself in the foot with all these stupid sanctions and embargoes. Any clever person will tell you that the real aim of the Americans is to oust Russia from the Western European markets, and to replace it with the American allies. The stupid Europeans will only understand when Russia ships all of its natural gas to China at $380 per K Cu M, while they will be forced to import LNG from Qatar at double that price.

Actually, the article on Wikipedia says that "Ukraine eventually admitted that the disaster was probably caused by an errant missile fired by its armed forces. Ukraine ended up paying $15 million to surviving family members of 78 victims ($200,000 per victim)."

But it took a few years to make them pay. And in 2007 "Kiev Appeals Court has dismissed the victims' relatives suit against the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, ruling that military of Ukraine bear no liability for the accident". How's that possible at all? Or is this only possible in Ukraine?
