Those users that selling their invite via telegram is just probably joking to troll those users that keep asking for an invite code every week. Someone even asking for 20 invites in one go because of the misconception that the invite code is the only requirements to start mining
Thing with invitations is real... There is missunderstanding caused by lack off experience when new people join or wanna join Idena.
So new people come and ask for invitations, they expect to get them easy...
But experience of people who are in Idena allready tells them to be cautious in regard to whom they are giving invitations, because, there are:
- Some fake accounts, made to ask for invites and to waste them on purpose, so network does not grow, so rewards stay nearly the same in next epoch (for current users)
- Random people who just stumbled on this project and ask for code, you give it to them, after they read more, and decide, well this is not for them (invitation wasted)
- People who can't pass validation... Either they have some computer problem, or they realy don't understand flip logic, or behind some firewall that produces crazy results (invitation wasted)
So... the best strategy is to give your invitation to your friends/family. If you don't have anyone else, you can start giving them out to random people, but you would still want them not to get wasted...
Great thing is that we can withdrawl our issued invitation... So you can recycle it if a person to whom you've given invitation, can't do validation for some reason...
Some people that are in Idena from begining, are keeping blacklist of accounts/scammers/invitations wasters...
I feel sorry for newcommers that don't get invitations fast, but its nothing personal...
When you get trough several epochs and your invitations get wasted few times you'll get the idea and experience/feeling of discontent...
